i'm amazed that we were one catch by evans away from the big dance, and we have fans running around criticizing this team like we one 5 games. considering there are 32 teeams in the nfl ,and we pride ourselves on running the ball and being balanced, that we are 19th in passing shouldn't suprise to that many people. could it be better, yes of course. would it had been worth it to get a new oc if pagano hadn't left, maybe, but unlike many of us these guys run a multimillion dollar business and know a little about what they are doing. we might wait an eternity to see a super bowl, and that would be frustrating, but all i know is this; i much prefer watching this team and this head coach, than i did during any of the kyle bollick era.

I'm so glad we are not Greenbay, were the fans run the team. If none of you sat down to watch game film, then your opinion doesn't really matter. How you going to tell a WINNING organization how to do their job.

What happen in Ozzie we trust
LMAO.....ummmm..maybe you should have used another team to make your statement..Greenbay while not making the SB this year is a very solid team!! And if their fans have created what they have become....wow some very football smart fans!!

Yes Cam has been the problem. Yes we have won games with him, but how many of those games has the D bailed us out? A good number of them, too many actually. The D has a bad day, we tend to lose it seems

Man, another season with those bad calls like QB Draw in 3rd and goal. I feel bad for the team, specially for Joe Cool. He is the guy who suffers the most from that.
Here we go again...

It's amazing... Absolutely, a good thing that the Fans don't run this organization.

Think about it people... We were 22 seconds away from the Super Bowl... In just 22 seconds we went from winning the game to 11 seconds from a FG to go into overtime... Call our offense "vanilla" and "conservative" all you want... We were RIGHT THERE!...

I have been chastised, and belittled, and told I know "nothing about football"... a sport I grew up around every day... because I support a successful Offensive Coordinator who has led this team to the playoffs EVERY year he's been in Baltimore.

Sorry if that offends folks.

We also lost to the Jags, where we only gave 6 carries to Ray Rice. We lost to the Seahawks because of horrid playcalling. We lost to the Titans because we were flat offensively as a whole, playcalling included. We lost to the Chargers mainly because of our D, but we couldn't even adjust to their D, and we only scored 10 points in that game.

Your point??

Well, another year with Cam is in the makings.
So as a fan if the Ravens brass like it, I'm just going to have to love it.

The problem I have with that is... you have to see tangible growth. Has the offense really improved much over his tenure?

Anytime you are as close as we were this year, you have to look at what changes can be made to put us over the top. The offensive personnel (outside of o-line) won't change virtually at all into next season.

In this league, if you are staying the same, you are getting worse. If we ran this exact same team with the exact same vanilla play calling out there in 2012, we wouldn't win 10 games, guaranteed.

I did, however, see a flicker of light in Cam's Championship game playcalling, as after the 1st quarter he realized that our only shot to win the game was to throw the ball a lot more.

His play-calling is vanilla, but it can still work. What I certainly question more is his ability to make in-game adjustments to the gameplan as needed.

Cue facepalm.... wow, not even spellchecker would've helped this garbage of a comment. Dude, you need to learn how to put a paragraph together, and use the correct words for what you mean.

Leading rusher - Ray Rice, Leading receiver Ray Rice...
Does Cam know he has some other players in this offense????
Ray's receptions - almost all but 1, were 5 yard dump offs, cause no one was open running a go route, and the pocket collapsing...
The play to Evans that was dropped in the end zone should have been drawn up for Boldin - he was the man we wanted to be the game changer, but we throw to a man in double coverage that was out 15 games of the season when teh season is on the line
Cam - find Boldin, he is number 81 on your roster, try using him more often, and not just when he demands the ball out of frustration.

I'm heading into next year with very low expectations now. After having my heart ripped out last week, now I feel like I just a had a colonoscopy with a baseball bat. Absolutely nothing to look forward to sportswise. No baseball team, no college teams, nothing to give Baltimore fans hope of any winning teams. I mean winning the big prize and not just coming close.

I have no doubts that Cam is the main reason the Ravens are not in the Superbowl. Forget the drops and missed field goal. The Ravens should have been 15-1 this season with home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Funny how every other team puts the blame where it belongs based on performance and production. If we had a better QB, we would have already won two Super Bowls. Cam has never been the problem. And for the fourth time, the "amazing teflon Joe" gets another free pass.

Keeping Cam was smart. We have a young offense that would have had to learn a new system. 1 dropped pass from playing next week, so why make a change. We don't have any margain for error learning a new system with the schedule we will have next season.

I don't think the Ravens make the Playoffs next year, Then maybe Cam loose his job then...
Once again.....The words of next year are used! Wait till next year...Ummmmm for what to have this same talk next year...after Ray and Ed are for sure to retire! Once again our HC and Cam rain on what should have been good news for the Ravens Nation in our new DC...sad so sad!

Yeah, I remember watching the Patriots game , and with Torrey Smith WIDE OPEN, I can remember saying "Dang, Cam just missed 7pts" Then, later same thing. "Dang, Cam just overthrew Torrey again" Dang, that Cam has got to go!!!!!

I give up.. folks, its never good to have a smart convo with dumb people. It doesn't work, and never does. Cam supporters are dumb individuals. Every one of those comments I read from Cam lovers have mistakes in them, and not just a word here or there, but the whole paragraph is just horribly written.
