I could be wrong here, but I think his "injuries" are a little suspicious.

Agreed. He's had minor injuries, but those IR trips were just to keep him on the team since he's considered a project player.

He had microfracture surgery on both knees. Sometimes, athletes are never the same after doing this surgery. He did this in his rookie year and this past year landed on the IR to rest his knees back to health. Also, to keep him on our team from others. Harewood is a smart guy with size that can fit the left tackle position. He's definitely a project, but might get to see some action next season.

Every year = gets injured.

His done in my opinion. Unfortunately alot of bad luck has run into him.

Nah, I have a feeling that he was one of those guys that came up with a "mysterious injury" on cut day.

Harewood is a project and I believe he was put on IR just to protect his place on the team... however, he is somebody that is smart and may in fact be a viable back up to Mckinney if he comes back... however, I think Jah Reid needs to step into RT and allow Oher to play LG perhaps??? Remember he played LT adequately well, so playing LG should actually fit him since he is very strong...

I thought his knees were the issue? Tough to be a football player, especially an offensive lineman, with shoddy knees

Jah is RT, Ramon is LT.

If Jah Reid becomes the franchise LT with Oher as our RT, I will be very happy. As long as they are good and don't get stupid penalties.

I thought it was determined that Jah Reid didn't have the strength to be a LT and was only really considered an option at RT
[/quote]

I wouldn't say that at all. Reid is actually known to be a very strong player, but he has lacked footwork and agility, so that made him land on the right side. Your right side linemen are typically stronger, but not as quick/agile.
