I wouldn't mind the Texans on Sunday Night or Monday Night on the road in Week 1, I also wouldn't mind the Eagles or playing the Chargers so we can beat them before they get hot and play well.

Yeah give me the Chargers any month but December lol

Im not scared of this schedule at all. Bring um all on. This is the year flacco becomes the quarterback we all need him to be in terms of scoring points.
i just don´t see that. i don´t see us being a high scoring team. not with that kind of play calling and execution. flacco is good no question about that. i just don´t see him ever being a fantasy football monster regarding stats.

we will always be known for our defense. not for our offense. and our offense will be known because of ray rice and what he can do. not because of what flacco can do. that´s just my opinion.

back to topic: i couldn´t care less about our schedule right know. you never know what happens during the season. last year i was sure we would lose against the colts. well we all know the story.

the sure thing is: our own division is the strongest in the nfl. i think it will get even stronger if the browns take RGIII or blackmon. their defense already is very good. we play a lot of good defenses. that is our advantage.

we all saw often enough what happens when those high praised abs come to bore to play the best defense in the world. most of them suck against us...

at the end of the day we will be in the playoffs again. the only thing that matters will be: how far are we able to get next year!?!

It would work for Monday Night Football since the Orioles play on Sunday Septembr 9th at Camden Yards but I wouldn't mind a Road game to start. All I know is I want our divisional opponents to be more spread out, that's all I ask. It seemed like last year, we played the Browns and then boom, we were already playing them again a couple weeks later.

i like the idea of playing the Patriots week 1 on Monday Night. It's a good possibilty. Are the Giants playing them next year? that will be a night game if they do play each other.
I would also like to play the harder teams first so we can get hot at the end of the year hopefully.

Giants playing us next year, so no.

We will probably play Patriots first, would be good for national television.

Eagles, Chargers, and Steelers away games scare me. (possibly the Texans too if Schuab is back). We're clutch at home so I'm glad we play NE, NY, and Dallas there. Tim Tebow shouldn't give our D any issues.

If we play the Panthers, they scare me a little also. When facing QBs like Cam and Vick, all bets are off!

I don't see us losing ANY of those games. Of course we WILL--and lose a few, at that... but I like the schedule because I see us having the personnel to beat every single one of those teams. We won't be overmatched by anyone. We just need to execute.

Steel Sharpens Steel. You have to play the best to beat the best.

Look what happened with the Pats, They beat up on sub .500 teams all last year, losing every game vs winning teams (except us.....AAGGGHHH!!!!) They demolished the .500 broncos, and then the Ravens gave them superbowl tickets wrapped in the finest gold leaf paper, and a pretty little bow (AAAGGGGHHHHH IT STILL HURTS!) Then they lost when they faced real competition. Brady only through like 2 or 3 TD's in the playoffs (not including the Broncos game because that was more of a hard practice than a game) Where as in the regular season Brady was throing 2 or 3 TD's a quarter vs the weak teams they faced which didn't harden them up enough for real competition. I'd rather go 12-4 vs hard teams than 14-2 vs poor teams.

I didn't realize this but this is something to keep a close eye on for next season. I know we are all talking about the Patriots but remember last year, the Texans, Ravens and Patriots were tied at one point for several weeks and we were all trying to figure out the tiebreakers. Well this year it just so happens the Ravens, Texans and Patriots all play each other this year....

Ravens vs Texans

Ravens vs Patriots

Texans vs Patriots

Right now I would say those two games are going to be crucial in determining the final seeding so H2H is going to really play a factor and I will consider both of those games must wins for the Ravens to get the # 1 Seed. I am certainly going to be circling those games on the calender when the dates are announced.

Cincinatti will be a tougher opponent than Pittsburgh this year. All the games have a potential to be losses,
you just have to hope the other AFC North teams stumble in a couple games also!!

Don't worry--there's always the playoffs.

Playoffs? Playoffs?!

Thats a tough schedule. Although you guys were like 6-0 or something vs playoff teams this year. Just remember. Respect the opponent. Nothing is an easy win but you shouldnt be scared of anybody.

Except the Texans . JK

Last season I would rather have done the 14-2 vs easy teams. Then we would have had 1st seed and beaten the Pats at the Bank.

Oh well.

Damn playing the Chargers again in San Diego is starting to tick me off. Year are year we have to travel there. It is about time they come here for a change. I am seriously upset about this.

I hope we destroy the pats. Idk about yall but I will hate them forever and always.
Just add them to the list with the Bengals, Steelers, and Colts. I want to beat them just as badly as the other 3 teams.
We CANNOT afford to sleep on ANY teams!!! Too many really good teams to lose to a below .500 team.
Those lame games at Tenn., Seattle, and Jax cost us the 1st seed in the playoffs.

Why do we always seem to play away to Washington and San Diego and never at home?
We played Washington at home last time we played the NFC east in 2008.
