If Cam is returning, then it's going to be a long season next year.

Probably because they suck, and unless they have the mother of all offseasons, don't really present any match up problems for us

I'm not commenting on this schedule until after FA because how good a lot of these teams are will change with that. The texans may not have the room to resign mario williams and lose him to FA, their center is also up to be a FA. If he goes to baltimore I don't think there is a team that can beat us, williams that is. Peyton Manning is likely to be a FA and if he goes to the browns, with all that cap room and all those draft picks, they may become a contender and we could split with them. Right now there are too many variables to call it either way. But if all teams are the same as they are now, I could see us going 12-4/13-3 and winning the division. It seems like a tough schedule, but we could reasonably beat a lot of the teams on here now like NE (face it we have their number, its a matter of when not if), the Giants (we are a better and more complete team than the 49ers and they caused the Giants to struggle.), San Diego (much different game with an in shape Lewis, and healthy webb.). I'm not too worried about it. Almost all our oppns were in the top 10 defensively this year, and judging by this only NE, possibly SD are gonna have a top 5 offense. That doesnt worry me too much. Our offense will struggle at times, but it will pull through like always.

I wish we could get the Chargers AT home for once..seems like we always are @ San Diego or @ Patriots or @ Dallas(when we play them)

Is this a serious question? Because they are the Redskins.

As the last few years have played out, their owner and FR are a bunch of idiots when it comes to FA and the draft. They did do a decent job of the draft last year but were bitten by the injury bug. Plus if it's like the last matchup, it will come around in November or December when the Redskins are in their usual mid-season collapse.

Plus if Shanahan loses any more of the locker room, he'll be done for this year.

Considering what we've seen of the away teams this past season....that's a brutal road schedule. Why we always
play @SD is baffling.

Agreed. I don't see any push over games in the schedule at all. Some would argue that Cleveland is but I would tend to disagree. As enemic as their offense was, their D was actually pretty decent.

Plus AFC north teams play other AFC north teams hard.

:)

Although, I will say, they are a QB away from being a threat to the NFC East.

We beat them 34-31 and the top performers were all Ravens. Plus, it was preseason dude lol

Or did I miss some sarcasm again?

Next years going to be a lot harder but it seems like some of the defenses might be weaker then this year. I'm looking forward to the eagles matchup next year. I could go to that one and not have to drive back to baltimore. If we win i'll be able to rub it in all my friends faces.

Talking about Skins fans, I hope they can leave Maryland. It's miserable listening to their fans in the radio at my area(gaithersburg). Hope they go 1-15 and move the team to hawaii or something

I don't know why we always play San Diego away, but that's the only away game I worry about. All the games are winnable, though. Honestly if the D doesn't take a step back, and Flacco of 2012 has the brilliance of 2011 + the consistency of 2010, and the offensive line is fixed which I think is an offseason priority, we'll be fine.

And if our receivers hold on to the ball!

I look at it this way, the Steelers have lost their OC and LB coach. That will take a lot from their team, having to restart from scratch on offense for the most part, their defense was exploited on more than one occasion this year, and with players like Smith and Boldin it will only look worse. Against the Broncos, shut down Tebow- Win. Cincy is still young and up and coming, with so many sophomore players I doubt they will repeat this past season, could be just as good though, with a 10-6 record. Against the Giants- Put pressure on Eli, when he gets rattled he can be exposed and taken advantage of, not to mention our secondary will be improved next year, with players like Webb and Smith coming into themselves as players. Both showed a lot of potential this year, and will only get better so I have no worries about how well they can play against a tough group of receivers. The Patriots game should have been a W, lack of pass rush and execution on very few plays cost the game for the Ravens, something that they won't allow to happen again.

Houston will be tough, with everyone healthy they will be serious contenders. Even without Schaub they were a solid offense, not to mention some missing pieces on the defense. The Cowboys, well, will be the Cowboys. I don't see any major changes to their game from this year. Could be a tough one, but the Ravens have a good track record against them. The Eagles are going to be tough, so many play makers on both sides of the ball, and I highly doubt Nnamdi will be so silent again.

Those really are the only teams I could see giving us any trouble, not that there won't be any surprises next year as there are every year. In all honesty, this past season could have been an undefeated season. They played down to their opponents on multiple occasions. The Titans, Jags, Chargers and Seahawks all should have been wins. There was truly no reason to lose those games other than lack of execution.

With a new, skilled QB coach Flacco will have the training he needs to really break into his true potential. I could see the Ravens going 13-3 or 14-2 next season. We all know the talent this team possesses, and maybe a tough schedule is just what they need to get over that hump. They always seem to lose focus on those bottom tier teams, so maybe this will finally be the year they keep the same mentality all year. I cannot wait for next season. With all the talent that is already there, and possible acquisitions from free agency and the draft, there is no reason to not believe the Ravens could make an even stronger push than they did this year.

Our starters got owned, had it not been for last minute heroics by Tyrod it was looking bad.

Well I disagree with that. Our starters (Flacco/Boldin) were the top performers for the game and Flacco left after tying the game up with a TD in the 3rd. Don't know why you would think it was looking so bad.

Looking forward to the 2012 year and schedule. We and to be considered one of the best we have to play the best. Tired of the Ravens receiving no respect or airtime on ESPN/NFL channel. With Jim Caldwell now working his magic with Flacco, I now believe it is our time. No excuses this year.
