Who Will Be Leaving With Pags?

137 posts in this topic

Lets face it, sadly there will be players who leave with Pags to Indy. I'd hate to see it happen, but I don't doubt it one bit, especially a few D players. Who do you all see leaving?? Hopefully not Webb.... he had just became a defensive mainstay for us, that would be horrible for him to leave...

Webb is an RFA this year I believe. He will not be leaving.

I don't even want to think about it. Ughh.. Not even a full week into the off-season and I'm already bummed out about this crap.

Who's contracts are up?

JJ, McKinney, Redding, BA, McClain, Nakamura, Zibby... I could see any of them in Indy. Maybe he'll take Chris Carr off our hands, too?

Webb will be a RAVEN for Life, there is no way we let our BEST Shut down CB go. No Way, same C.Williams, he better not leave.

Cary Williams, Grubbs, Redding, Nakamura, Mclain, JJ and Zibby are all very likely to go there. He can take Carr and Foxworth if he wants too. Webb is restricted so he will be staying. This could be a Rex/Jets thing all over again. Ravens will be alright though.

As many have said, i see JJ going there, possibly even Zibby, McClain or Nakamura if we dont offer them the money they want.

JJ, McKinney, and long shot McClain. What Pagano will need is front 7 guys who know how to play in a 34 defense.

Hopefully Cam. His playbook is awful and Pagano would have the blueprint on stopping our terrible offenses scheme. I say now is a perfect time to clean house, get rid of Cam and Jerry. I think the o line coach is gone too. Players I see leaving are JJ, Pollard (depending on contract situation), Ellerbe, McClain, Grubbs, Nakamura and Zibby. Hard to tell, not sure of all FAs we have but people are always trying to snatch our players and coahes.

I'm not too concerned about JJ leaving, we have Kruger and Kruger can take over for JJ. Redding I would be alright leaving but only because of the play of McPhee, Nak and Zibby most likely want to start somewhere and with Reed and Pollard here, they won't get a chance to start so they will leave to join a place where they can start. We can stop worrying about Webb, he is a restricted Free Agent so he isn't going anywhere unless the Colts want to give us the # 1 Pick for Webb because I guarantee we'll be tendering Webb the max tender.

Noooo....J.J and Pollard these are two that I hope we fight for!
[/quote]

Why are people saying Pollard? He signed a 2 year deal i believe.

And as for JJ, i really don't want him to go either, but we have Kruger who could step in and take his place.

JJ will end up a Jet if we don't resign him, if not them than I bet Pagano would scoop him up as they need an OLB. Not too many guys I can see leaving, it will all be guys we choose not to bring back. I think who ever we don't bring back will have a good shot at wearing white next year. The question will be blue and white... or green and white

He's only been the coach for 1 year. No one's leaving. You don't leave for the freaking 2-14 Colts because your 1 year coach is going.

A lot of the guys are close to him, and he was a very good coach.

It doesn't matter the record of the team, its about how long they could stay wherever they go, and how much money they would make. Obviously they want to win a Super Bowl, but if the situation presents itself, that they think they would be better off somewhere else, then they go.

And they're not close to John Harbaugh? Or Ray Lewis? Let's put it this way - no one is going to opt for Indy over Baltimore. The only way they head to Indy is if they get cut.

I know what you mean. But still, if Indy offered JJ, Redding or McClain more money/years, you dont think they would take it? Idk how their salary cap situation is, but our first and second priority is Rice and Grubbs.

Their cap has got to be ****ed, with that monster deal Manning has. They have to have some real issues with their cap.
