not until Ray Lewis retires would i even consider it, he would have to cover far more ground... I Dont think 4-3 works unless you have an elite line.. you also cant disguise your plays as well, you can give them more looks in the 3-4

I heard it's our Linebacker coach on an interim basis. I'm still just sad. Greg Mattison lost his job (which he deserved to) and we kept Cam. Now Pagano left us for one of Baltimore's most hated teams. Did we just not make him any offers? Right now I'm just inclined to think Harbaugh doesn't care about Defense. I know I'm talking dumb now, but this just sucks.

One of my reasons for Singletary is a little selfish too. One, I think what he would bring to the Ravens defense is huge. Talk about a DC who would attack .. attack .. attack.

But also, and I don't want this to come out wrong but can't think of another way to say it, after what happened with the 49ers and how far the 49ers went right after he was replaced, I don't think anyone is going to give him a HC look for some time.

you cant block a move like that, nothing we can do really, if it was another DC job we can block it, but with a HC gig on the line, no way the man passes it up, would you turn down a promotion for double possibly triple the salary. Its a job for him, like our jobs is for us..

Mattison didn't lose his job, he took one at Michigan. Pagano was under contract for awhile, its not like we let him walk in free agency. The way the NFL works is a coach can interview for a job higher than his current one at any point in time he chooses to do so.

Webb is a RFA, meaning when we tender him with a 1st or a 1st and 3rd Indianapolis has NO CHANCE to swipe Webb from us. Unless they want to be the stupidest humans ever and give up the #1 pick in the entire draft for Webb.

Eh, they'll take JJ likely and McKinney as well. Some depth guys to help teach the other players the scheme. Im not even worried about Indy to be honest. They're going to get pushed around so much on defense in a 34 alignment. Their potential MLBs suck, Ive always despised Brackett I think he's soft. He'll get annihilated in the muck of a 34 defense. Their front 3 will be who? Moala, McKinney and someone else? Good luck.

I'm sorry but in the twilight of your career I think some of these players value the organization rather than the coach. They know the Ravens are a class organization. Why would they go from here to that unstable organization, even if Pagano is there? Zibby, McClain, McKinney may go. I see other teams taking McClain, though. I hope we trade Carr & Foxworth to them. That would be a dream come true.

I think you should get compensation if team hire your team's coaches. As long as their contract isn't up, they should get some sort of draft pick or salary cap or some form of compensation. They do it for the players so I don't see why they don't do it for coaches as well because I think it would seriously cut down on the merry-go-round garbage that happens at the end of every season and it would encourage teams to promote from within.

My gosh they are stupid, do they not realize Webb is a RFA? I mean if they want to give us a first round pick I'll gladly take the # 1 Pick and then trade it to someone who wants Luck and give the Ravens a bunch of picks to build this team up for the future. But hey, if the Colts want to give up the 1st Overall pick in the draft and Andrew Luck, I'll take it.

I love their ignorance. They're going to "steal" Webb? Cool story bro. Nobody wants to play for the worst franchise in the NFL, even more-so if they're leaving a winning program. That doesn't even factor in his being an RFA.

Promote Clarence Brooks or Teryl Austin and the D'll roll on. The only down year was under Mattison because he's a vanilla 4-3 guy.

When Singletary came here and Lewis met him, it was like Lewis was 18 all over again the way he talked to Singeltary. There's a huge amount of respect on the Ravens defense for Singletary.
