thats why we are "molding" Troy into the type of Raven Quaterback the Team wants him to be and Perform at a High Quality day in and day out, in the pre-season, he showed flashes of potential he did have and what not and the guy (mind you) has Extremely good Pocket Presence and awareness and has excellent play making ability while on the run and also has Great vision to make those kinds of plays. With time and effort. I dont see why Troy shouldnt a great Quarterback for us in the end.

Many of the local radio "experts"/host say they don;t see any of the QBs on this roster as the QB of the future - time will tell i guess.

thats their own oppinion i guess, besides the fact that its just oppinions, doesnt really matter, what matter is Troy and his development into a Great Quarterback for us (our Future Frachise Quarterback if all goes well and accordingly)....otherwisde, Ozzie would have passed him.

he's been plagued with a few injuries himself and therefore resulting in a career thus far that is "lack Luster" the guy has teh talent to perform, and to perform well at that. just somethings just have kept him a little "sidetracked"

I think smith should play some snaps this season in closed games in 4th quarter just to see how he's performing.

that could make the decision easier for the staff.

i can agree with you on that, when we're ahead by a decent margin, put him in, but otherwise, just wait

I agree, put Troy in if were ahead by a large margin. You can practice with your own team all you want and look great, and sit back watch tapes and watch games being played by your teammates ,but on the field with opponents in a actual game is where the strengths and weaknesses will surley be displayed and give the player the opportunity to realize their own strengths and weakness. Speaking for myself I am a hands on learning.

The only time we should see Troy is in a game like last week. When we had no chance of a comeback.. and when we are winning by at least 3 scores.

To put him in every once in a while is fine with me too. I think he does need some plays.

no we dont want to throw him out there yet.....because what if we are winning by a big margin and he throws a pick its gonna bring his confidence down we should wait until at least next season around the 6th or 7th week and start putting him in around the 4th quarter rite now we're ok with kyle boller if steve mcnair doesnt start next season

Yeah. I am definitely not saying to start Smith. I am saying to put him in if we are losing.. or winning by a lot.. If he throws a pick that's his fault. He needs some plays to tell. Especially since this season is going down the drain.

my gosh..........everyone on this forum (almost everyone) seems to be Seriously Doubting our own ravens, seriously need to get off the topic of "ohhhhh its a Losing season" and Blah Blah........think ALOT of people on here are getting sick (including myself) of talking about the same thing over and over, week after week. and Even if we win this game and the next game, There would Still be People on here, talking about a "losing season" or "we got lucky in those games......if they would have played to their potential...the other team would've won by a long shot"....i mean so does it really matter????? even if we do a good job, there's still people on here talking bad " welll he did this and thats why this play resulted the way it did" and all that......just leave it alone
