On A Brighter Note...

What a great year for our rookies! Yes, we've all been disappointed as of late but there is so much to be thankful for too.

Torrey Smith is going to be so good next year, if he continues to practice, learn and have the attitude he's had all season. I was so impressed with his performance this year.

Jimmy came up big for us in a lot of ways. I was so happy to see him get that interception in the end zone Sunday night. What ball awareness! He's made his rookie mistakes, yes, but he has shown great potential and like Torrey is likely to only get better still.

Pernell McPhee showed he is no longer a freshman at "Ball so Hard" University. Next year, I'll expect even more big plays.

To our other rookies, who advanced and helped us prepare for a deep run into the playoffs they, too, have garnered much confidence.

What experience! To make it to the AFC championship game so young in the NFL! It's truly a blessing for these young guys and I hope they get a chance to relish that once the disappointment of Sunday's loss wanes.

Great season to our rookies! We look forward to seeing what improvements you'll be making in the off-season. I think it's something we can all appreciate and take comfort in.

We are a legit threat to any team. The crown aint safe for whoever wins superbowl this year! We will be competing I'd say for the next 5 years for sure if we have Joe and Rice on our team

I agree, I'm so excited about our rookies. Even more so because i thought outside of jimmy, it wasn't a good draft. Boy i was wrong

I'm really excited about this team for next year as well, especially the rookies. Not only the Smith's, and McPhee, but we have also yet to see what Doss, Allen and Chykie Brown can do. Allen will probably be behind Rice and Williams next year, but maybe he can get a few carries in some game, or prove himself in the preseason. Same with Brown.

We have one of the best combinations of veterans and rookies, looking forward to next season! Tough loss, but a great season and a bright future...its great to be a Raven fan!

i think we are heading to a bright future. our team is young on a lot of important positions. we just need to add a true number one wide reciever that makes the big catches and doesn´t let joe down so often. we don´t have that. all those young quarterbacks that made themself a name in the league do have one of those. matty ice already has two of them...

our defense is getting back to be the number one defense. we added great talent over the past years and they are talented as hell.

what we also need to do is getting better on special teams. we need an explosive player returning kickoffs and punts. i don´t wanna see our shutdown corner returning punts!! and i don´t wanna see tommyZ returning kickoffs because he doesn´t scare a little child with his ability!

all after all it was a very good season again. can´t wait for the next year to start!!!
