Pagano, if you leave. I'll hate you forever and ever.

I'm not crazy about having a lack of continuity, but it's not as though Pagano will go down with names like Marvin Lewis and Rex Ryan in Ravens history.

Why can't we be lucky like the Steelers and have the same head coach and defensive coordinator for...oh say 15 years or so. I'm getting tired of our defensive coordinator position being a one or two year pitstop on the way to becoming a head coach.

JIm Tressel is going to get it....

I'm just disheartened that he's even interviewing. It shows he's already looking past his current job. I'm sick of our coaching staff being a springboard for bigger and better things. Is it too much to ask for a little bit of continuity?

Why is everyone so high on pagano? He didnt really impress me.... The D played poorly for the last 5 games.

Players not performing and missing tackles has nothing to do with Pags

I think with the number of vacancies, every single exceptional coordinator in the NFL is getting interviewed. There won't be enough places for them all, and I'm not sure that Chuck has the resume yet--although he certainly has the talent. As everyone else already said, that would be a sinking ship. Not even Peyton Manning could right that back up. O-line totally atrophied and neglected for years, all their WRs are free agents, Reggie Wayne's joints are creaking anyways, their D is easily one of the most porous in the world and they have horrible personnel.

It would be a project, but there's no such thing as a "project" in the NFL any more. You have about one or two years tops, and that team is a bit further away than that. He should stay and if Harbs decides to move on (or things just don't work out), I think he could make an excellent head coach of the Baltimore Ravens some day.

The defense did have ups and downs all year but they were borderline dominant Sunday...

You hold that offense to 23 points and cause 2 turnovers and hold Tom Brady to under 250 yards passing at home..
That's dominant in my books

Good lord, why can't we find a DC like Dick Lebeau of the Steelers, a peRson who just wants to be the best DC out there? Rotating DC isn going to take it's toll on our defense. I mean what the hell have we become, the incubator of coaches for other teams? Ozzie and company have to start laying down the law by having a mandatory lenght of service commitment by the coaches. Amazing, in the four years Cam has been the OC, the Ravens have had 3 DC's.

There may be reason to believe nothing will come from this. According to ESPN, the colts are also interviewing 6 other coaches. It's not just a chuck specific interview. What ever happened to the days when a cordinator actually had to have build up a solid track record in order to be consistered for a head coaching job in the NFL? Brian Billick was dubbed an offensive genius based off his one year as the OC in Minnesota, and that never panned out when he became the head coach here. If he didn't inherit the defense the team had he would have been fired within three seasons. Chuck had a good year, but it wasn't great, and one year regardless of the success should never be a qualifier for a head coaching job.

I Figured This Would Happen , Our Defense Was Playing 2006 DEFENSE , Only Thing Stopping Him From Signing Is His Knowledge On Offense , LETS HOPEE GUYS !

If Pagano gets offered and accepts this job he is stupid in my opinion. How can you trust an organization that has acted like the Colts have. They've basically cleaned house of some well respected people, hired a questionable GM, and the owner tweets like a teenager. I simply wouldn't them, that's not saying anything about the state of their roster. Turst mans alot in any employment relationship. I know I've turned down jobs simply based off of the fact that the company or my management team acted with shady character in the past.

This is terrible news! I hope Indy doesn't go with him.

First I see Pagano could be gone and now I just heard John Clayton say on mike & mike that since Cam Cameron is at the Senior bowl practices and the offense played so well in AFC title game all signs seem to point to him coming back and possibly as one of highest paid OC... But there still has to be an evaluation by Ozzie, but chances are since he is at Senior bowl no move will be made!!!

what the heck. If Pagano leaves and Cameron stays something is seriously wrong with this organization.

That's because Lebeau already failed badly as a HC. He probably doesn't wanna do it again. Kind of a "been there, done that" kind of mentality.

Who's going to replace Pags as our DC if he leaves?

I think some of you have to recognize history, Ravens Defensive Coordinators become head coaching candidates quick, like 2 years minimum

I think after 1 year is crazy, he might be good but its nice to have Ray Lewis and that leadership already instilled on the defense

Ugh, no, just no. Please stay Pags. The idea of you going to the Colts right now is the stuff nightmares are made of.

Hate the fact that he's leaving. I want a defensive coordinator that just wants to be a defensive coordinator. Tired of the head coaching wanna be's. Go head Pagano, after a tuff year, show us where your heart is at. Get me a coach that wants to coach the defense please! Interview and don't come back.

If he leaves, its going to be either: Del Rio career(long and painful) or hue jackson(short and surprising). Colts just doesnt have the FO and the roster to compete with what Ravens have. Jim Irsay got lucky to see Manning pan out, but rest of their drafts are a joke with exception of very few.

I am begining to think it isn't Pag. Irsay is going to announce tomorrow, but Pag was suppose to have an interview today. There was no way Irsay could have had contact with Pag prior while the Raven's playoff season was still going on. Normally prospects for head coaches have two and three interviews right?
