Looks like a tough schedule to me. Steelers twice, Bengals twice, Patriots, Giants, Cowboys, Chargers, Eagles, Texans.

so when we make the playoffs again we'll know we can win against anyone

Can someone summerize what Kiper said? I cant listen to the audio right now.
First he talks about how the Ravens outplayed the Patriots almost the entire game, and how Joe Flacco specifically responded to criticism by outplaying Brady. He said the Patriots knew they got away with one and probably won when they shouldn't have. He talks about a few of the mistakes that may have cost the Ravens the game i.e. drops, and questions why the officials didn't review Lee Evans dropped pass in the end-zone. He talks about what we need to do to get better. He said the interior of the offensive line needs to get better - he said we need a center, depth at guard, and competition for Cundiff. He said "nobody can have a critical thing to say about Joe Flacco - he proved he is the guy to lead the Ravens to the Superbowl." He said you really can't bash Cundiff too bad because Lee should have made the play, but you can't bash Lee too bad because he know how much he screwed up. Pretty much it.

I think he specifically meant Birk which is why he brought up Gurode who is a 330 pound former pro bowl C. But in all actuality lets be real here, Yanda and Grubbs is a top 3 OG tandem in the entire league. Why the hell when running behind them could we not pick up short yardage? Yanda and Grubbs are definitely not our big problem on the Oline, but damn they were anything but stellar in the post season for run blocking.

True, but I mean Vince Wilfork is a machine. Can you imagine if we had him next to Ngata....

Please don't remind me about Boller. Drafting Joe we actually moved down and GOT more picks, and more players - I believe Ray Rice was one of them. Joe is the draft pick that keeps on giving. We gave UP our first round pick in 04 to take Boller in 03. Yep, we could have had Wilfork, or Jason Babin, or Steven Jackson, or Chris Snee. Nope, we got Mr. Carrie Prejean.

Something is wrong with the officiating in Foxboro. This wasn't the first time we've had a lack of a replay on a catch. Remember the "muffed punt" against the Pats in the '09 blowout where the Patriots special teamer "caught" the ball, even though he came up with the ball ten yards away? They cut to commercial without replaying the play intentionally so we couldn't watch the play again upstairs.

Now they don't review the ball inside the 2:00 warning in the Conference Championship? I don't buy the "replay assistant reviewed it" BS. There was barely enough time to review it once on TV and you think the assistant had time to go to the box, set up the play, and watch it enough times IN SLOW MOTION to make sure the play was correct? Sorry, but there's no way that could've been reviewed so quickly.

The "We didn't need to stop the game" part bugs me. We're talking about the Super Bowl on the line! We can wait. Until you're absolutely sure you got the call right. Not "oh yeah, good enough, hurry up and kick a field goal without us telling you what's going on".

Thank you Kiper for stating our feelings exactly.

New England doesn't pick their officiating crews, the NFL put together an "All-Star Crew", as they called it for Sunday's game.

How great would it be to get a guy like Colston. Every team that has cap room with receiver needs will consider him so he will probably get big money since he already has a ring with the Saints. Colston, Q, and Torrey would be elite next year!
i would prefer a guy that hasn´t won a ring yet. you know, someone who is still hungry. i don´t know who that would be but i don´t want another housh on that team. and i don´t think q is able to be a number one IF he is used like we used him this season!!!

I don't think that just because he got a ring, he would somehow be lazy and complacent. I think Colston would actually like it here, because he'd get to play with a great defense and be in the hunt every year. The Saints have missed the playoffs on occasion, and as you can see they do get knocked out early. The Ravens have won at home, on the road, everywhere. It would not surprise me if one of these receivers says, "Hey, I can go there, be the undisputed number 1, and win a ring."

Was Wilfork a beast or just a better player at this point than Matt Birk

I think Birk has done us well but his times are over too...

It's probably early to be thinking of this, but here's who we got next year:

HOME:
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Pittsburgh
New England
Denver
Oakland
NY Giants
Dallas

ROAD:
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Pittsburgh
Kansas City
San Diego
Philadelphia
Washington
Houston
Why are we always playing IN San Diego?! Let them come here for once. This is like the 3rd year in a row we have to go there. Anyways, I say we keep Grubbs, PLEASE re-sign Webb, and if he's cool with a pay cut, keep Evans. Rice and Flacco of course stay.
