Harbaugh Vs Cameron?

29 posts in this topic

I didn't see this anywhere, but I heard that Harbaugh was fighting with Cameron on the sideline or something? Not sure if I missed something.

Thanks in advance for answering my question.

Yeah it happened when we had that 4th down play . He was shouting for John to take a time out and John reluctantly took a time out. The play resulted in an incomplete pass. Maybe Cam ICED Joe Flacco!!

We're really nitpicking at this point...the plays are made on the field, does one called timeout taken too slow amount to a dropped Lee Evans TD pass and a Billy Cundiff miss

execution , ray rice said it all year

Lee needs to hang on to that ball. Thats on Lee, defenders swat at guys all the time. A veteren Wide out needs to make that play.

But was that guy that Harbs pushed Cam? Someone told me it was, but I swear it did not look like him.

I didn't recognize the guy he pushed but Cam was behind him and grabbing at his shoulder.

Thats what I thought. People kept telling me that was Cam, who Harbs pushed. I didn't think so. I had no clue who that guy was, but it was kind of funny.

I hope it's true.

Just pushes Cam being fired from 75% to 99%.
I was going to say the exact same thing, but you beat me to it. I've said all along the only guy who really had Cam's back here was Harbs. If he no longer does, then bye-bye Cam.

First off. John Harbaugh cost the Ravens the game. 4th down and a foot and he kicks the field goal??? He could have got the first and scored the td and would have won by four points instead we lost by 3 points. Joe Flacco was on yesterday. Instead Harbugh and Cameron (another guy who isnt a strong coach) runs the ball into the brick wall of the NE Defense. Why run the ball on 2nd and 8 or 3rd and 8 knwoing that we need to score??? You can blame Cameron all you want but Harbuagh is the Head Coach meaning what he says goes. See Bill Belichick he runs his team and he calls the shots too. Harbaugh shoud be in college not here in the nfl. Joe Flacco is young and is talented in fact talented enough to go all the way bc the Baltimore team has a lot of heart. Its the coaches and the play calling that let them down.

As far as I'm concerned Baltmiore Ravens you guys rock and you were robbed not by your own performance but by the coaching. John harbaugh and Cam Cameron. Why don't you both grace another team with your good spirit and knowledge. stay away from Baltimore. Bill Cowers come to Baltimore.

No, it wasn't Cameron. It was Randy Brown the kicking consultant. I'm not sure why Brown was even talking to Harbaugh. There was NO WAY they should have even been considering giving Cundiff a shot at a 51 yard FG with his record this year (1 of 6) or in his career (5 of 19).

Still haven't heard why. Be surprised if a reporter doesn't/didn't bring it up with him today.

I know this wasn't intended for me, but I also brought this up to my Dad. After it was called incomplete, it was clear that Lee thought he had the TD despite it being stripped. A few years ago that probably would've been a TD. Officiating has to become more consistent, but that's obvious to anyone who watches the game.

I'm honestly not sure whether Cam stays or goes. Who would be his replacement?
I'll give you a starter list: Hue Jackson, Jim Zorn, Mike Sherman, Marc Trestman. There are plenty of better options, including promoting from within, like Wilburt Montgomery the running backs coach.

well i have mixed feelings bout the referees. I think that the calls are being called are inconsistant I think the league need to make calls all the same across the board. that is all I'm saying

Aren't there other teams in hot pursuit of those guys as well, despite Hue and Jim being here once before? And I'm not sure I like the idea of promoting within because I would imagine that there would be plenty of "Cam" in an offense run by, say, Wilburt or Jim Hostler (receivers coach) or Moeller (OL coach).

It's more him not being retained than fired lol. Just a technicality. Though us as fans want it to be "Cam Cameron booted out of Baltimore"

Suffice it to say, if the Ravens and Patriots would have switched Head Coaches just for the game, the Ravens would have won hands down. I agree that Coach Harbaugh has a lot to learn and his OJT (on-the-job training) is being done at the players expense. Who called the long pass play in the middle of the field that resulted in Joe's only interception. It was a dumb call with over seven minutes to play. The receiver was surrounded by 4 defenders. It was the next play after Vonte Leach had pancaked Spikes. We were finally starting to establish a running game and destroy the Pats will and let them have the ball. I blame the play calling more than the QB's decision to throw into the coverage. The biggest example of Coach Harbaugh's ineptitude is the poor quality of our Special Teams. Wasn't he formerly a ST Coach at Philly? If so, where's the beef other than Brian Ayanbedejo? Cundiff's KOs were pathetic considering they have moved the KOs 5 yards up the field. He's been short on KOs all year and got worse after injuring his calf. It is the Head Coach's responsibility to see that something is wrong and do something about it. His place kicking was unacceptable this year, as evidenced by the coaching staff's lack of confidence in having him attempt a 51 yarder earlier in the 2nd half before he choked and duck hooked the 32 yard chip shot. If he's the best FG kicker we can find, we won't be going to many SBs in the future.
