And on top of all of this pain we must go to bed every night knowing that the moronic patriot fans think their team is unstoppable
Sounds like the Ravens fans just before they played the Texans. Fact is the Pats did beat you and were there better team on that day. Fear not however... The Pats will go down to the Giants in the Super Bowl.

Is there was never any doubt in their heart that they were winning that ball game losing never even crossed there mind throughout the whole entire game or week of practice. you could just see how confident they were coming out of the tunnel they believed every single second that the game was ours thats why it hurts so bad. They were 7.5 underdogs and they went into the game feeling like 7.5 favorites. It just sucks to lose the way we did it really really sucks we deserved to win that football game it was our year. Once we recoverd that fumble on the kick off i really thought we were going to get 7 and put the game away im just heartbroken i feel so bad for ed reed listening to him on 1 winning drive you can tell how bad he wanted it this is going to be the longest off season of my life.

Note I still want Cam gone just as bad as anyone else but I think we should know his conservative play calling has got us to the playoffs the past few years. Our last 2 exits, when it came down to it, was more on player execution than anything.

:( Very heartbreaking. I really believed it was our year too..... there isn't much more to say. All we can do is stay positive & believe they will be even better next season. Hope most of the same men are on the team next year.

No doubt, I think most of us felt that way. I am still in shock, how the last few second of that game ended what I and everyone here thought would be a super bowl season. Not going to lie I cried myself to sleep Sunday night. Not even sure I can watch the Super Bowl now.

if we played offense like we did on the last drive the whole game we could have won easily.
that was a tough loss but also some promise: our offense can get it done. our defense is still the best in the game...

just sad that ed got robbed on that one. i think he deserves a ring. i doubt he will get one now as i can see him retire after all. i hope he doesn´t. i love #20 back there. nobody can do what he does. he is just really banged up right now...

I couldn't sleep Sunday night... just kept playing the game in my head all night... yesterday morning had to pretty much let it go... This season was a wild ride... Think about all the ups and downs of the season... And sweeping the hated Stealers... :D Winning the AFC North...

It is always a great day to be a Ravens fan!

I still haven't slept real well, its a tough way to lose...just a matter of time and letting it go haha

i think its funny how other fans act like they wouldnt be upset or still disappointed two days later if it was their team

I'm placing my acidic hatred on Lee Evans. Sorry had he held on to that ball, Billy wouldn't have even had to show up at the end of that game. If I am going to throw any one player under the bus over this, will be him and him alone.

ravensdfan worry not...Rayray has already emphatically stated to the media that he'll be back next season. Jury's still out on Reed and Birk though. I guess this off-season is when we'll find out for sure either way.

I felt seriously crappy last night..depressed...until I logged onto Fb this morning and saw this:

Before anyone gets it twisted...

We win as a team.

We lose as a team.

We wanted this more than anything we've ever wanted in our entire lives. ALL of us. I promise.

Football is a game to many, but it's our LIFE.

My team, the Baltimore Ravens, is a TEAM and...we're YOUR team. ALL OF US.

TERRELL SUGGS, 55, RAVENS

And somehow that made the sting go away. Purple and black Ravens pride forever!
As a Steeler fan, I "hate" (in sports terms) Terrell Suggs. But this is an incredibly classy thing to say. Well, done Mr. Suggs.

Ray Lewis has taught our young fellas well, that will go on as a lasting legacy for years

Baltimore Ravens will always be about defense like the Bears and the Steel Curtain....or maybe i should say they will always be associated with great defense....idk whatever

You know what the worst part is?

After last season's playoff loss, I told myself that I would try not to get so emotionally invested in a game. Last week, I told myself that no matter what, win or lose, I wasn't going to be too upset because we had a great season and the Patriots had the advantage. I just couldn't have imagined that type of ending. It was twice as painful as last season's loss. It was the most painful sports related shock that I've ever felt. When Cundiff missed the FG, my friends and I just sat in silence for a few minutes. I just felt numb, the experience was surreal.
