I'm not sure whether I believe in curses or jinxes, but it seems like every time we lose in the playoffs, it's because we found a way. This team has had to sit back and watch the Colts, Steelers and Patriots represent the AFC in the last nine SBs, while we've had mutlipe playoff failures.

This team is talented and should be back next season. But a good offseason and a good regular season won't cure postseason failure.

I have literally seen one SB in which someone other than those three others has played, and that was us in SB 35. So nine out of ten SBs that I've ever seen live have been played by those three (after SB 46).

I have to think at some point we're going to win one under Flacco/Harbaugh, but despite the fact that drops or fumbled snaps or 32 yard misses are easy fixes, we CONTINUE to make those boneheaded plays in playoff games. The silly mistakes and the easy fixes really are proving to be very difficult to get under control, as they often do.

I also can not understand all the mistakes. If the players and coaches were part time and did foot ball on the side I could see the mistakes, but this is their full time job. I realize we are human, but man, they practice day in and day out and still screw up. Evans should have never dropped that pass and the field coal should have never been missed. I am tired of all the excuses. The players and coaches get paid big bucks for their jobs and their performance should be 100 %. I see a new offensive line coach, a new special teams coach, a new OC and possibly some new players on the offensive line.

For all the raven fans that offer their "NAIEVE" point of view about being snakebit......... the "agony of defeat" only comes when you get close and not succeed. It simply means that you are BETTER than 27 other teams that wish they could get to YOUR LEVEL......... YOUR TEAM IS A CLASS ACT and trust ME...any team that plays you .......doesn't need to know what a "sphicter consricting" means including Steeler fans...You are a very classy team not to mention GOOD. You should be proud and you played a very good game and did not win..that's alllllllll.

Wow....too bad I can only plus-one this once....and this coming from a Steelers fan. Thanks, ck!

BYE-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

we only want real and true Ravens fans anyway. Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya on the way out. And quite frankly if you're going to turn on the team like this then you're the joke.

Exactly what I was thinking. Or just look at Houston. They are in a division with the Colts and Manning. Manning goes down and they finally have a chance. Only to loose their 2 starting QBs, their stud WR for nine games and their star pass rusher.

So many organizations only wish to have the level of success that we have. Sure we aren't racking up the SB wins (but that's a tough thing to accomplish

They don't have the steelers holding 6 rings over their head and always a threat in da playoffs. Colts keep having heartbreak...steelers have lucky rabbits feet up they but. If ravens were in AFC south ain't no problem other than the obvi...but the steelers put insane pressue on our franchise to match up.

Then go cheer for the Steelers like everyone else in that room. You'll have a ball next year with your salary cap issues.

It was a BAD day for the Harbugh coaches ! Going from watching a potential game Ending TD catch from Evans / to 32 yard chip shot field goal attemp to Tie / to a Championship LOSS. The same can be seen across to the other coast as a reliable punt returner is too banged up to play, in comes a Rookie Williams to make a bone headed play getting to close to a bouncing ball & compounding the mistake by NOT going after the LIVE ball ( cost a TD ). Then he fumbles another punt return after it gets punched out costing a field goal to WIN the game for the Giants in OT. Not a good day for the family. Jim Harbaugh looked shell shocked at the games end, had trouble answering questions during the press conference (but he is a shoe in for Coach of the year).

It seems ironic that Evans was the reciever to be open for the Catch, he probably would be my last choice given the other possibilites ( Dickson or Leach close tho ) ! Condiff miss just hurts so much more to me .... I thought the Tie was a foregone conclusion ! Its a Championship game ... hurts much more to LOSE this way. Call it snakebitten or Dilfer curse one thing remains .... the core of the team is still here & its talented. Beating the Steelers twice was NO accident. Like Shannon Sharpe said though these Championship games don't come around often & the players must grab the oppurtunity to MAKE the most out of it .... somehow the 2 players did NOT on back to Back plays .... the TEAM deserved a BETTER result ! That is all I can say. Lets hope Condiff / Evans if still with team get a chance for redemption in another Championship game !
