Whats The Best Way To Get Tickets For A Home Game?

115 posts in this topic

Thanks for the info. I found club seats (corner endzone), section 233 for $225 per. I've never been to M&T so I have no idea if those are good or bad seats. Also no idea what face is, but seems like a decent price. Broncos/ravens game is shaping up to be a big game!

You could try NFL Ticket Exchange, also there are other sites you can use as well to try to get tickets. I'm very surprised that there wasn't a limited amount of tickets becoming available for the Raiders game like they did for the Browns game.

There are some differences between NFL Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster and Stub Hub, both resale sites have guarantees, but I have heard stories of some people getting hard tickets shipped to them after purchasing on Stub Hub and not being able to get in and they either got other seats or a refund of their money, due to the popularity of Ravens tickets if that happened you would probably get a refund, you might want to get the instant download tickets instead. The downloadable tickets might have someone else's name on them, but they are still good. But if you buy off that site make sure you bring your confirmation e-mail with your tickets to the event, just in case.

NFL Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster, has only downloadable tickets that you can print out when you purchase them. When you buy them they are printed out in your name. They are the only site guaranteed to get you into the game. This site charges more in various fees, such as service charges, printout fees and taxes since this is an event in the state of Maryland.

Sometimes you can get great last minute deals from these sites, although NFL Ticket Exchange shuts down a few hours before kickoff while Stub Hub goes up until kickoff.

So there you have it, a guide to both major ticket resale sites on the internet.

Try the Jets. I just bought two tickets to the Jets game. Good Luck finding seats together as I was able to find two tickets for me and my friend and got it in two rows together. Section 533 Row 4 & 5, Seats 5 and 6.

I did,  The Jets game was fourth on my fourth tab,  they still had single ones (they are all gone now).  But they were in the last row or single tickets in the middle of nowhere.

No biggie.  I'll pay the resale prices.  It would be nice as a Ravens fan to be able to buy tickets before all the resellers get theirs.

Yeah I just searched around the seating chart until I found two tickets together. I did find two seats for the Vikings game and I went to check out and it said, "Your Order could not be processed", made me mad as hell.

I had two tickets in row 35 for the Bengals game (my first tab since I thought everbody would be going for the big games).  But I was like damn, row 35?

So I went to my next tab to see if there were better tickets and my Bengals tickets expired in a matter of seconds (I thought I had the 15-min hold going).

Yeah there are still tickets available for the Bengals game but single seats only.

The report is that they sold out in 15 minutes.  But really in essence, they sold out in 10 seconds.

They had a few single-tix-back-row tickets floating around until the 15-min mark perhaps.

Pre-season tickets are still available. Our first home game as defending champs may be pre-season, but it will be electric.

15 Minutes sounds about right, I ordered my Jets tickets about 10:15ish.

Had no trouble at all getting a single ticket to the home opener against the Browns, but that is all I can afford right now.

I usually make it to one preseason game, but there is no way I am paying face value for preseason tix.  A ton of season ticket holders dump those off cheaper than face value in the upcoming weeks.  Ofcourse this year may be different since we are SB champs.

A single ticket was easy to get.  Trying to get 2 in a row was nearly impossible.

Just to let people know there are still tickets available for games but that's if you want to go by yourself. A bunch of single seats left.

Edit: Wow, that poor lonesome one seat for the Jets game. Every other seat has been purchased and he is the last one available. Even tickets know what it's like to be the last one chosen.

Another thing to remember in the regular season visiting teams usually turn in their allotment the Thursday before a home game, if you are local check with the ticket office then.  It's not like we are playing the I-95 teams this year so you may have some luck.

They have released several hundred tickets for Sunday's game against Cleveland. You can find tickets together in a pair so if anyone wants to go to the first home game of the season, this is your chance.

Ticketmaster has a lot of tickets available for Sunday's game.  A lot of pairs.  Mostly deep in the 500 sections.  But I just scored two tickets in row 1 of the 500 sections.

But I've seen club pairs, and other seats available @ face value.

stubhub.com and ticketmaster.com...if you wanted to get a good seat make sure to buy in advance, also because tickets sell out so quickly.

Don't mean to bring this up but I was looking at the Tickets page just now. It seems for anyone wanting to get tickets to any game of the 2014 season, Friday July 25th at 10:00a.m is when tickets go on sale. Plus this is a good month notice for those wondering and they can plan around if they were looking to buy tickets.

Thanks maybe start a heads up closer to the time-- if you make a thread I will pin it

No problem and most certainly we do need a new thread. Plus I figure at least by posting it now, people here can at least have a month to plan and figure out their finances, etc.

Next thread should be named, "Where to Buy Ravens Tickets, Ticketmaster complaints Here" since this thread basically became "Reasons why we hate Ticketmaster."
