Whats The Best Way To Get Tickets For A Home Game?

115 posts in this topic

I paid a kings ransom for a Steelers night game one year, but thats expected. Its the Steelers.

I got lucky the week before the Steelers game in 2009. Someone posted a ticket that was only $128 for a sideline seat, which was way under the other prices so I snatched that one up.

Geez. I paid over double that per. But you can't buy those kind of memories.

Damn that's a good deal. Plus do we know how many tickets were bought from visiting teams fans and if any not sold from them will get re-posted?

It gets worse for Patriots/Steelers. Yeah Cleveland is a Thursday Night game so at least it would be a prime time game.

I'll see you at the Browns game maybe. I'll be in section 509. Although, Thursday night coming off a Sunday night game Vs. the Pats may be ugly. Trap game.

You can get tickets for the Ravens Vs Redskins game for $50 on Stubhub. Our home ticket resale prices have to be some of the highest in the league. Ravens @ Pitt $71, Pit @ Bal $179.

Be really careful about the $50 tickets on Stubhub for Fedex Field. They're usually obstructed view seats or standing room only spots. Taking a look now, there are no $50 tix available, but you can get a standing room only one for $71 *gag*

Dang I forgot. I even set up a reminder on my phone.

But I was too busy hitting up the office's kitchen @ 10am. It's Friday and its Bagels and Donuts Day.

Also, for all the complaining we're doing here, at least we're not like the Redskins, who don't even make single-game tickets available to the public. Just clicking on tickets on their site takes me to a link to buy into their "Premium Club" Hell, there's no home games listed on the Ticketmaster site to buy tickets from them. Yet how many FedEx Field seats go empty every Sunday?

Standing room is a joke. If it's going to be standing room, they should model after what O's did with that little restraunt type area.

Exactly, and Fedex probably doesn't have that. I don't think I would buy a standing room only ticket for a regular game. The Super Bowl on the other hand if we were in it...

Holy cow, these sites are ridiculous. One site wants me to pay a service fee of $16 and $15 for shipping which jacks the price to over $200 for tickets only worth $84 a piece.

My regular seats are 90 bucks lol. The recession has hit some of the brokers really hard and I noticed previous broker seats last year being new PSL holders. I used to get extras but don't anymore.

Couldn't talk myself to even trying to get tickets yesterday. No use

Think I'm going to come up for the jaguars preseason game and then go to the chiefs game.

I want to go to the texans game but Houston tickets are just as expensive as ours

Yeah I think I'm going to settle for a Panthers PS game against the Dolphins and going to the Panthers-Bucs game in November as Panther tickets are much cheaper than Ravens tickets. Plus I really liked what Tampa did in the off-season and would love to see them for myself.

i need tickets for the handycap section.

If you qualify, you may be able to acquire tickets directly from the Ravens ticket office. Here's from the Ravens web-site:

If disabled seating is available the week of a game, tickets may be purchased by phone, but must be picked up by the purchaser at the lobby of the Ravens Ticket Office on or before game day.

  • Individuals must show proper photo identification to pick up tickets.
  • The purchaser will be required to complete a Disability Needs Form. It is suggested that this form be completed in advance and placed on file.
  • The Ravens encourage anyone interested in purchasing single game tickets in an accessible area to contact the Ravens Ticket Office as soon as possible – this will increase the chance of obtaining tickets, in addition to providing more seating and pricing options.

Individuals who are interested in purchasing accessible single game tickets, but are not PSL Owners, can contact the Ravens Ticket Office at (410) 261-RAVE (7283) on the same date and time that all other single game Ravens tickets go on sale to the general public (typically late July.)

  • Individuals who contact the Ravens prior to the date of the general public sale to request tickets will be told to call back on the sale date set by the Ravens.
  • There will be no exceptions to this policy.

If you are not qualified for ADA seating, you may consider buying tickets via the NFL Exchange . I have successfully used this source for a couple of away games, I even wound up buying below face value playoff tickets at KC a few years ago.

I must confess I have not read every word of every post in this thread, so this may be redundant, but if you are not concerned about "finding a deal" on your tix, I have always had great success on the nfl.com website. Just chose the tickets drop down menu from the home page and choose the ravens. You have the box office or ticket holder option for all home and away games and you can sort by cheapest option or choose your desired section.

I have used this option for about 10 away games and 4 home games in the last couple years and I have bought tix for three games this season and have never had a single problem, though buying from ticket holders can be a tad expensive.

Sorry of this repeat info.

GO RAVENS!

For anyone who is still wanting to go to a Ravens game, a limited amount of tickets for next Thursday's game against the Browns have become available.

http://www.ticketmas...04&minorcatid=8

When I got the text like an hour ago I rocketed over to Ticketmaster. They had a whole slew of tickets available. I was cycling through batches of 4 tickets in the lower level and upper level. And they weren't the row 36-corner section variety.

I decided on 3 tickets in row 1 of section 502 (sideline) @ face value. I'm really happy right now.

I just did a search right now. Tickets have been on sale for at least an hour. I got a result of 2 tickets, section 152 (30 yard line) row 1!!!!!!! That's insane.

Now I wish I didn't get the row 1 502 tickets.

Yeah but you would have paid an arm and leg for those tickets. My friend got tickets in 528, Row 25, Seats 23 and 24. Plenty of tickets available guys so if you missed out in the robbery when they went on sale in July, here is your chance to go to a game.

Those aren't too bad. You're still only paying face value (plus fees) instead of the usual mark-up that ticket brokers sell at.

The two tickets row 1 (30 yard line) were like $282. A ticket Broker would have sold those two tickets for at least $500.

FYI, There are still tickets available (I searched for a pair and found a pair) for Thursday's Night's game.

You can buy them on Ticketmaster for face value +fees.

First time going to Ravens game. Looking at the Ravens-Broncos game and wondering when the best time to buy tix is? On stubhub right now the tickets are very expensive. Anyone have any experience with when the best time to buy is? Thanks!

Unless the Broncos start tanking or Manning gets hurt its going to be a popular game. The 2 easier games to get tickets for would have been the Browns and this weekend Raiders. It's a tough year with playing the NFCE to get tickets. You can check with the ticket office the Thursday before the game but you are not garunteed anything.

Thanks for the info. I found club seats (corner endzone), section 233 for $225 per. I've never been to M&T so I have no idea if those are good or bad seats. Also no idea what face is, but seems like a decent price. Broncos/ravens game is shaping up to be a big game!
