Whats The Best Way To Get Tickets For A Home Game?

115 posts in this topic

There has to be a better way-- if there is im not sure what it is

Many of us just had one computer but if I remember correctly there was at least one person here who had a whole phone / computer system set up with multiple lines and even they failed to score a ticket.

Damn. Now that is crazy. Only thing I know is I'm pulling up 4 games in a different tab, and whichever one I find tickets for first, is the tickets I'm buying. I know I'm probably going to not have any luck with Ravens-Patriots, Ravens-Steelers but I'll try for those games.

The fact I've spent the last decade in tropical weather probably didn't help my cold tolerance, but I know everyone I hung out with was freezing thier butts off as well.

Uh the Jets game did me in-- we came home from FL and went straight to the game--I was so miserable and it was in the low 40's. All my cold gear was still packed away. The playoff game was down right balmy after that lol

Tandon Doss gave me a ticket to the Cardinals game a few weeks after the Jets game and it was high 50s to low 60s outside. As a person who HATES the cold weather it made it much more enjoyable. The largest comeback in Ravens history didn't hurt either.

Wow that's pretty cool. I'm dreading tomorrow big time, ticket bots will not deny me tickets tomorrow. I will over come those Evil Ticket Bots and score Tickets!

lol, well I'll try my best. Hopefully others on here who is going for tickets will be able to score tickets with no issue. I still think they should go the old fashion way and just have them on sale at the Ticket Office at the Stadium. I'd rather wait in lines and camp out over night to get tickets than face the bots.

Did anyone get tickets?

Nope. Kept getting screwed over by that security box. I kept putting the code in and it kept telling me it was wrong even though I typed it in correctly. Also it didn't help that the public got screwed over by a pre-sale last night for Season Ticket Holders lessening the tickets given out today.

I had NO luck for the Pats and Cowboys game, however, my price range was only in the upper deck. I did get two Browns tickets in section 509 row 1.

I think this is the key. Im sure all the desirable tix are long gone by the time John Q Public has a shot at them. Oh well.....go capitalism! Now you pay double!

What also is bull is the Ticketmaster fees. I got two Browns tickets and I have to pay $5 to print out my ticket and $15 for service fees, screw them greedy cooperation!

Lucky, I can't get nothing for Cleveland.

I had tickets for the Giants game but when I went to go buy them, they were gone! It redirected me back to the main page and told me those seats were no longer available.

No luck this morning, got stuck dealing with an issue at work and couldn't get to my desk until 10:18. Everything I tried for was gone by then. I'm very unhappy with this outcome, so I guess it's off to StubHub I go (NFL Ticket Exchange can lick me, I refuse to use them)

Ticketmaster needs to be revolted against for catering to ticket bots and screwing the average fan. Also I found no need for a pre-sale last night just so PSL Owners who already have seats, can take more seats away from the public.

I just bite down and go to another ticket site as soon as the schedule is announced each year. Takes the aggravation out of it. I actually scored face value club level tix. Somebody screwed up and I bought before they realized. Delivery today!

Time to see how much the average fan gets screwed on re-sale sites.

Edit: Guess $91 for tickets against Cleveland on Ticketsnow isn't so bad.

I can't believe how many tickets are already up for sale on Ticketsnow.

After reading this thread, why not?

Not surprised. There are always a ton on Stubhub and NFLExchange from all the brokers who buy PSLs and then resell them every year on those sites.

Part of me wishes that the Ravens could seek out those who are just ticket brokers and not fans and take away their seats, but it's impossible to figure it out correctly.

Depending on how much shipping and all is, that Isn't to bad. My Browns tickets were $65 and $10 service fee and $5 for printing fee it ended up being like $80 for the ticket. Once again, screw Ticketmaster.

I wish that was possible. Honestly, I'm more upset that Ticketmaster's security check box was screwed up and it kept telling me I had the code wrong even though it was right.

The craziest thing is I misspelled one of the security words and it still let me in. I wonder if their system knew there were no tickets anyway and let me in so it could laugh at me.

lol, yeah probably. At this point I'm looking at getting tickets for Cleveland in Section 530 for $81 a ticket or section 523 for $84 a ticket.

I got singles for the Pats, Bengals and Giants. I'll probably sell them though. Not that I care if I sat by myself... LOL. I have another connection that I'm going to try and capitalize on!

I wish I could do Cleveland but I'm out of town that weekend. I'm looking at $109 for us vs the Raiders in Section 508. Really? really?!

It gets worse for Patriots/Steelers. Yeah Cleveland is a Thursday Night game so at least it would be a prime time game.
