Your completely right about that, it is Bisciotti's Final Decision but if Cam is here next yr, it will be because of Harb. and if Cam is here next season. I wont be asking for Cam to be fired , i'll be asking for HARBS TO BE FIRED.

I had a post just like this about 2 years ago to the day.
I don't like our coach. I can see Cam not getting renewed, same as being fired, but i can also see Harbaugh with tears in his eyes begging SB not to do it.

How about Mike Martz? if not Martz I say bring in Jim Zorn as the offensive coordinator. If neither one of these options then Hue Jackson. I'd say Martz or Zorn. Cam needs to go.
Martz we'd have to totally overhaul the o-line for. He's been so criticized because all of his schemes and routes take forever and a day to complete. They're ridiculously good when they work, and they work a lot with the right guys, but Kurt Warner has said on a few occasions that one of the reasons he and Bulger got injured so many times in St. Louis, and one of the reasons Cutler got hurt in Chicago, is that Martz schemes leave the defense way too much time to get to the quarterback, and they call for protection schemes that leave the quarterback vulnerable. Could you imagine Flacco being sacked every other play by Woodley and Harrison.

Having said that, Martz would be much more effective than Cam Cameron.

A lot of folks ("people in the know") seem to think that Cam Cameron will be back next season with another 1-2 year deal.
Don't know how good PFT and Rotoworld are as sources, both both have posted in the last 2 days that Cam's time here is all but up.

I wouldnt be surprised if he is still here. Bisciotti wanted him gone last year but Harbaugh begged for hiim to return. It wouldn't surprise me if Harbaugh wanted him back again.

Cam Cameron coming back would be a nightmare. I'm praying to the football Gods that this doesn't happen. I'd be absolutely livid

I don't know about a Ipad but why not let the fans be on the sideline with Head Sets on and choosing the plays. That would be a fans dream right there, calling the plays for a NFL Team and playing Madden at the same time. Oh and I vote for everyone here on the Board to get first crack on calling plays using Madden.
Is it bad that I actually like using the Ravens playbook? I always use that shotgun formation with the unbalanced line and Boldin in the slot.

Also, I don't think bringing Cam back is THE absolute worst thing that's happened to this team. I feel like he did turn up the heat a bit. A lot more bombs than I remember. It could be a whole lot worse...

Ideal situation: Hire Hue Jackson as OC, bring in Jim Zorn as QB coach, and re-hire Al Saunders as offensive consultant. Rebuild the triumvirate of 2010, but get rid of the weak link in Cam Cameron and replace him with a much stronger Hue Jackson. Each of these three has slightly different personalities, each has a unique approach to coaching. Most importantly, I believe 1) all of them have a strong respect for Joe Flacco and Ray Rice, and 2) Flacco and Rice have respect for them.

I don't know how much weightage fantasy is, but those two sources are the best for quick and fast fantasy football news

For the record, Rice seems to have respect for Cam Cameron (referring to the latest LFW I think). I really want Hue as our OC but DC is priority right now for the front office I'd believe. It sucks that we are losing our parts after coming off an AFCCG appearance...

It happened the last time. It is interesting, however, that people have no problem hiring the D coordinator who we had for 1 season, but won't take the O-Coordinator that we've had for 4 seasons and reached 2 AFC Championship Games with.

Yep, they actually are smarter than we thought. They actually see through Cam Cameron, now maybe Chuck will take Cam with him to Indy and Cam can help ruin Andrew Luck.

I just had the oddest thought. FIrst it just popped into my head and I dismissed it, but it kept coming back. Knowing what we now know about what he actually did in that offense (ie. everything) and that with his injury and everything going on, there is actually a chance of him simply retiring (it's not a big chance, but just stay with me).

For the sake of argument/discussion, assume everything breaks the way it would need to in order to make it possible: "What do you see as the downside of Peyton Manning as Ravens' Offensive Coordinator."

Again .. sake of argument and discussion. Not saying this is likely or even probable, but what do you think?

Let's see, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time running the offense. One of the most cerebral players of all time calling plays and teaching Joe. The greatest improvisor, the one quarterback who had the ability to squeeze every last drop of talent off of every single offensive player on his roster, calling shots for Joe and the offense? No question he'd be brilliant. He definitely knows more about reading defenses and adjusting to them than Cam Cameron.

This just makes me sick, saw this on Aaron Wilson's Twitter:
Don't rule out Cam Cameron as having a good chance of returning as offensive coordinator ravens are open minded about having him back
Ugh... please don't let this be true. He is a FREE AGENT, just let him walk and treat it like a player who wants too much and he walks for more money. Just let Cam go please do this Steve, Ozzie, don't let Harbs convince you to let him stay. Bring back Hue Jackson, and Jim Zorn! Hue as OC and Zorn as QB Coach!

Seriously, this all has to be about what Joe Flacco wants. I don't care what any other player on offense or defense thinks. The only way we get to the Superbowl is with quarterback play - the last babysitter QB to reach a Superbowl was Brad Johnson. If Flacco wants Cam, then Cam should stay. IF not, he needs to get the boot.

If it is up to Joe, Cam is not coming back. I think we all know the tension between Cam and Joe and Joe wasn't happy with Zorn or Hue leaving, I wouldn't be surprised to see Joe lobbying for either Zorn or Hue to come back and replace Cam. I think Joe is even tired of Cam.

If Cam comes back next season... I am willing to take a no playoff appearance next year if it means we finally get rid of Cam and his predictable offense. I'll take a season of no playoffs and a Pick in the Top 15 of the 2013 Draft if it means getting rid of Cam.

If Cam is resigned, I think Joe will and should walk. Forget about what the front office is trying to put around him. He's gotta look at the job Jim Harbaugh did with Alex Smith and Vernon Davis. Good coaching is huge regardless of the talent of players around you. You could also look at New England during the Superbowl runs - a guy like Deion Branch looks like a stud in their system, then he goes to Seattle and busts, then he comes back and is a stud again. Or our defense here for years. Look at what Bartt Scott, Adalius Thomas, and Jim Leonhard were like here, and what happened when they left. If he doesn't believe Cam is helping him, and I think that's the case, Joe should walk away without hesitation.

Bring back Brian Billick!!!
Another period of offensive incompetence? Another conservative coordinator thats too stubborn? Come on, what exactly is so appealing about Billick?

You took down the fire Cam Cameron sig too early man.

Pagano's leaving might actually hurt the chances of Cam leaving. Harbs can go to Bisciotti and whine about too much overhaul in one season if they lose two coordinators that got to the AFC Championship game. This day sucks.

Brian Billick was an OK coach for us. Got us a Super Bowl XXXV win. He knows the organization. If you want pure offensive firepower, check out what he did with the Minnesota Vikings in 1998. Hue Jackson returning is also an option.

I respect him for bringing the Lombardi Trophy to Baltimore, but 1998 was pure luck. Randy Moss is the most physically gifted receiver ever to play this game, and he came into the league angry. Billick got lucky, it had little to do with him.

Yes, he was ok. You still haven't convinced me he should be our OC. He's everything Cam is. Stubborn, arrogant, and more or less incompetent. Why is he such a welcomed change?
