that website quoting another website saying that "Cam may be gone" is anything but practically official!

We can dream though

Mort is usually pretty good with his information, though. I don't know how Jags + Seahawks + Patriots + tension with Joe Flacco plus Flacco's inconsistency now that you are responsible for his development = another shot next year. I don't know what I'll do if he is retained.

Chip Kelly turned down the Bucs job. He would be an interesting hire, but if he doesn't want to be a HC, does he want to take an OC job? Of course, the talent here in Baltimore is light years ahead of the talent in Tampa Bay.

Promote from within? Worked with Pagano

Honestly, I would love for us to throw an offer at Oregon HC Chip Kelly. I doubt he takes the offer but he is a master of offense.

Other than that. I would take Hue Jackson or someone that can run a mean WCO

I like Hue or Zorn.

Forget it. I'd be shocked if either wanted anything to do with John Harbaugh.

Is that just depression and disappointment talking, or does John have a bad rep?

Not Jim Zorn. I know Flacco liked him, but I watch a lot of Redskins games as well and he made many many many stupid decisions while he was there. Don't like him.

Neither. John has had a bad rep with ME for 2 years. That's why i'm neither depressed or dissapointed or i'll add surprised at the loss again. Hue and Jim have seen Johns shortcomings up close. I'd be shocked if they wanted to work with Harbaugh.

I don't see any shot of Haley becoming our offensive coordinator. I think the best thing for our offense (and joe) is to get hue as the OC and jim zorn as the qb coach.

I'm not a fan of jim zorn as a play caller (after what he did in washington) but he's proved to be a good qb coach and flacco DID have his best year with zorn as his personal coach.

I like Hue jackson and think he can really take the offense out of mediocracy (something cam was unable to do)

Whoever it is should get the job on how creative they are, how football smart, can they work with QBs, etc

No hiring anyone on reputation especially if they're living off it from 10 years ago

Whoever it is should get the job based upon not being Cam Cameron.

We just been to the AFC title game and have lot's of great things to work with on offense. Any OC would be thrilled to come work here.

pay him more than Oregon pays him. Does the salary cap apply to coaching staff?

I'm not sure, but I don't think coaches/staff salary have any implications on the salary cap. So yeah Biscotti is one of the richest owners in the NFL, I believe, and if he wants to pay Kelly a lot to come here, he can.

Chip Kelly is the guy who was running like 4 plays a minute or something insane like that, right? or was that the Boise State guy? could be interesting to have an offense with a sick tempo like that.

not sure our defense would like it though...

But Mort didn't say anything final, lol... "he MAY be gone" is a tease.
"Harbaugh punches Cameron during scuffle at Cam's exit interview" is something more along the lines of what I want to hear.

I know for a fact there is an OC out there, who watches the Ravens, with all the talent we have on offense and thinks to himself ... Wow is Cam this mentally challenged? A younger new age offense minded more creative OC could help us tear it up on offense.

Iam no great football mind by and stretch, and Iam sitting at home predicting and diagnosing plays ( and being correct 95 percent of the time) something is seriously wrong. He is the most PREDICTABLE coach in ALL of PRO SPORTS. Its not the 60s and Air Coryel is extinct!

Joe Flacco played outstanding and so did most of the offense. But we could have blown them out with a better scheme cause we were the superior team. I think back to the drive where we were in shotgun throwing it with ease .. and 3rd and 3 comes along and its a HB Draw out of the Gun !!!! Grinds my Gears!

I have some sad news to announce, The Kansas City Chiefs might just might be interested in our cutting edge, offensive visionary guru OC. I am so heart broken over reading the news.

And the Academy Award for best faked sorrow impersonation goes to your truly.

If Hue Jackson comes back to Baltimore, the sky is the limit for Joe and this offense. People outside of the Ravens organization and it's fans don't really understand how big of an obstacle Cam Cameron is. Look at what Hue Jackson did with average qb play, and a very young group of Wide Receivers. His play calling is the farthest thing from predictable. As much as this loss hurts and the pain wont go away for months, you cant be anything BUT excited for our teams future.

I'd rather it be "Flacco beats Cam Cameron with IHOP Menu playbook before shoving him out the door."

Good News Raven faithful. Another team that is as foolish as ours to have thought Cam has any value as a OC may be interested in him.,

Make it happend Kansas City Chefs!!!!

Thats what Im saying. We have so many quality pieces on offense to work with and their only going to get better. Joe Flacco showed that he is a stud of a quarterback and can put up numbers. Torrey Smith is a game breaker and he is only going to get better. There has to be an OC out there who watches this team and knows he could do something special with this offense. I cant take anymore of Cam ruining it for Ray Lewis and Ed Reed its just not fair. This team will be in the championship hunt for years to come though, all Ozzie does is bring quality talent in every single year.

Amen brother. Also, don't you think a #1 wide receiver is out there, watching this game thinking to themselves, "That team is "me" away from winning a Superbowl." (cough Vincent Jackson, cough Marques Colston) VJ has to be tired of losing and not making the playoffs in SD. People don't understand how much better a #1 would make Torrey and Q. If somehow this team acquired a #1 WR, with its new coordinator (hopefully Hue) this offense is going to take off.

It would be a dream come true if we could get Hue Jackson as our next OC and Jim Zorn as a QB coach again. The familiarity they already have with the organization and players is a huge plus as well as the direction they both seem to want to take on offense. It'd be nice to not have tension between coaches and players. The offense will improve so much, that's what I think anyway.
Yes it'd be nice to have someone with a spine...not a snake like Cam. Tyrant.

That was my thought process I mean look at how he open it up for Ben....granted the running offense suffered but Ben was a 300 a game guy and they still won 12 games......but looks like he got forced to retire.
