Who Do We Cut? Who Do We Sign? Who Do We Draft?

Foxworth - 3.5 million cap hit but we save about 3.5 million and he wouldnt even make the team next year
Evans- Not because of his drop. You dont pay 4 million for a #4 WR when you have important extensions to dole out
Cam Cameron- I know his contract has expired but he needs to be gone
Maybe Cuts
Chris Carr- Hes our dime back and he makes 4+ a year here on out. Problem is we get no cap relief by cutting him. I like Gorrer better than him and feel chikie brown can be a a #5 corner. Cut carr so we can backload some contracts and get him on the books.
Jarrett Johnson- I like him a lot, and I am hoping we can just trim a little off his salary but he makes a good amount of money and I think Kruger is ready for more work
Ricky Williams- I like Ricky but we might feel Allen is ready or go for someone cheaper
Obvious Signs
Ray Rice- Franchise and then lock down like Suggs and Ngata
Joe Flacco- Get him a real OC, maybe one more WR, another year of experience for Smith and the TEs and he will be Big Ben. Not Brady or Rodgers, but capable of winning a SB with a defensive team. Should get around 10 million a year but fitzpatrick and kolb got that. Probably going to ask for 13 a year and this contract situation could get ugly
Ben Grubbs- He didnt look so great toward the end of the year. We will lose birk and replace him with gurode. No need to lose grubbs to. Give him 5 yr 25 million. Yanda got more but he can also play RT
Lardarius Webb- He is an RFA but a playoff team with a bad secondary (patriots for example) would be stupid not to give up a late first for him. the 1st/3rd tender doesnt exist in the new CBA. We need to sign him and it will cost us. Hes a top 10 corner already.
Draft
We need a LT, RT (Oher is below average at best), C, LG (if grubbs leaves) a MLB, and we could always use another pass rusher. I would like to see us find an OT but its a tough position to draft. Depends on Jah Reid. Peter Konz or David Decastro would be a homerun. We need to be able to run. Birk is just too old. Wilfork controlled this game. Granted a good OC could scheme out of it but a stud young center could change this defense.
Not sure about the cap situation but I think we can accomplish resigning all of our players if we make minimal moves outside of our team (maybe adding a backup safety, DL, a couple OL, and another WR. I really see this team returning 45 or more players from this team. Yea Ray and Ed are one year older but so are all our weapons on offense. This team will be back to the playoffs, I just hope we can keep our young studs.
Ozzie has done an amazing job at restocking the talent on this team and ensuring that the post lewis ravens will be a perennial playoff team.

Not so sure about cutting Evans, depending on how much money he wants.
Franchise RR. New OC (and QBC???) for Flacco.
Hope the talk about Pagano being looked at for a head coach doesn't happen...
And w/ Ed probably retiring, need to think about the safety position.

In the draft I see us going for either an ILB or an interior lineman in the first round. Burfict might fall to us the same way Jimmy did this past year, or we might go for a center. Birk is a smart player and a skilled technician, but we saw today that he does not have the pure power to match up with the league's best DTs any longer, as he was abused by Vince Wilfork.
I think the WR corps is pretty solid, as are the DBs for the first time in what feels like forever. The D-line is solid provided Ngata bounces back from a bit of a down year, and the LBs are pretty decent as well, though I would still like to see an ILB brought in if some talent falls far enough.

Cam is gone. But I dont know who could replace him off hand.
As fas as roster cuts Foxworth, and David Reed are the only two who jump to mind. Foxworth needs no replacing since we have WEbb and Smith. Reed, needs no replacement since much of his time was specail teams.
Draft, I dont know any names or any thing, but a quality return guy is high on the needs list.

I think I want Cam to leave so every one will shut up and stop blaming him for EVERYTHING !!!!

Flacco, Rice, Grubbs, and Webb are must signs. Thats going to get expensive.
In the draft i'd like to see us take a offensive tackle and linebacker in the first two rounds If a good wide receiver falls i wouldn't mind that pick. We could also use a safety and a center later on. We would need to put more emphasis on center if gurode turns out not to be a suitable starter. a defensive end could be used later on and we could get another steal like mcphee.

I forgot about Dominque Crapworth. Can you believe he is 8million salary cap? I would really keep Frank Walker than that dump. At least Walker played. Foxworth plays 2 games(at most) per season, and when he does, he gets blown out 100%

8 mlllion? Seriously? How much do we save by cutting him? He's like the 6th CB on the roster now, behind Webb, Smith, Carr, Gorrer, and Brown. Never mind, saw we save 3.5 million.

Pitta probably earned himself the starting job at TE.
Bring in Hue Jackson to take over as OC.

Outside of him I'd like to take a good look at Marques Colston. He's a big bodied receiver that has solid hands, complements Boldin and Smith well, and would probably be the number one receiver on the depth chart. If we could lock him down, him and Torrey would be a great duo when Boldin's contract is up.

Either Bell or Colston would be great. Could you imagine both, and then going into draft day?

Ray Rice: Number 1 priority this off-season. The last two games might have actually driven his value down a little bit. But I think the Ravens get this done quick... so quick they don't have to use the franchise tag on him. Rice has been a class act all year about his contract and now is the time to reward him.
Ben Grubbs: Not using the Franchise Tag on Ray Rice allows them to use it on Grubbs instead, allowing him to stick around while they try to hammer out a real extension.
Andre Gurode: Assuming Birk retires, Gurode would be an excellent center to play while we look in the middle of the draft for a new one. Gurode is old too, but he's still got multiple years left. If Birk doesn't retire, then allow Gurode to go somewhere else.
Cory Redding: He definitely played like it was a contract year for him, but I don't expect the Ravens will be able to afford to re-sign him.
Jarrett Johnson: See Cory Redding, only Jarrett is going to get an even bigger contract somewhere else.
Tom Zbikowski: If the Ravens target one person on the defense to keep, I hope it's this guy. He's young and plays great. He and Nakamura both play great at safety next to Ed Reed.
Lardarius Webb: He's a restricted Free Agent, so it's going to be pretty much a given he stays with the team, but I think the Ravens get a decent sized extension for him done.
Dannell Ellerbe: Another restricted Free Agent, I think the Ravens tender him and sign him to a small extension.
Potential Cuts:
Chris Carr: He signed a 4 year extension in the offseason and it isn't that big of a contract, so the Ravens should retain him.
Billy Cundiff: I know he's going to get a ton of heat in the next few weeks for that missed kick, but there's not going to be a better kicker out there to get. We just need to keep an eye on his psyche to make sure it wasn't shattered by that miss.
Cam Cameron: Contract expired, even though he called a great game against the Patriots, he's done. There's too much animosity towards him from the fan base. Hopefully Hue Jackson is our offensive coordinator next year.
David Reed: He's not really going to be a noteworthy cut... except to Ravens fans.
Domonique Foxworth: He's been injury prone when he's been here, he'll be in the last year of his contract, but with Williams, Webb, Smith, and Carr all ahead of him, it's hard to think they'll retain him.
