Somehow (9 drinks) I have this overall warm feeling (pissed myself) that we can do this next year (delusions of grandeur) and will be back (cause I hate football and will boycott this ish if Ray doesn't get another) next year!!!!

1. The Ravens OL played like garbage for 3/4's of the game, both in pass protection and run blocking. Vince Wilfork, in particular, was a one-man wrecking crew.

2. Dropped passes.

3. The Patriots were determined to stop Ray Rice and the run game, and for the most part, they did.

4. Physically, Ray Lewis has become a liability. It hurts me to say it, but we all know it's true. The Ravens played just fine (arguably better) when Lewis was sidelined for those 4 games this year.

A poor o-line, and underperforming D-line certainly didn't help.

I remember the general feeling later in the season was a lot of people didn't trust Cundiff to hit that kind of a kick if he needed to, he was below average all year, and is one of many people that needs to be shown the door this off season.

Yea this was one of those games where at the end I felt that we were gonna do it; we were finally gonna go back to the big dance and than the last 30 seconds were like a nightmare. Guys dropping passes, Joe not just getting the first down and going out of bounds, kickers missing chip shots and the Patriots literally being let right off the hook. Pretty much the worst way to lose. It just happens that way sometimes.

All ended well and I didnt harm anyone else from my foolish actions, thank god! As for this game, we lost due to poor execution. Dickson with a crucial drop, Lee with a horrible attempt to secure a freakin TD and a botched FG! Poop!!!

I keep reading about Dickson's drops and it hurt but there were more things than that. Joe was great, no blame to him but the underthrow to Torrey early stole away 4 points. The Oline hurt us by not giving enough time to Joe on another deep pass to Torrey causing him to overthrow him.
3 turnovers and only 6 points off them. Those are bigger issues.

But any way you look at it, we just didn't win. I still can't believe how long it took for that FG to be over once I could see it was being missed, it was in extra slow motion and all I could do was drop my head.
