We should look to replace Cundiff, he has missed several this year. Flacco was spot on today. Evans should have caught that. And I think (sadly) Cam saved his own neck today, minus that third down draw play (WHAT WAS HE THINKING?!?!). That said, good season from the Ravens, oh and Smith and Smith both showed up big time today.

Should have never released Mason but Harbaugh has proved he makes horrible mistakes like Cundiff our guy thats our guy. This guy should be fired monday morning along with Cam Cameron.

Yep, Mason has proved this season that he should have been kept in a big way... It's just a fatal coincidence he's been cut by not one, but two teams...

I know you're frustrated - we all are. But still, try to be reasonable.

So sorry for Joe because he answered the call, and came up clutch when we needed him to. He is our quarterback, no ifs ands or buts. An AFC Championship game on the road in Foxboro is no easy task for any QB, and he played lights out once he got settled down. So sorry for the defense because even though it seemed Brady picked them apart, the red zone was a different story, and 23 points for New England at home is nothing. Suggs, Ngata and co. were nowhere to be found today, and for the first time in a while it was the secondary that came up big. Heartbreaking.

Good game from Joe and most of the offensive crew. From what I saw, the O-line should shoulder most of the responsibility for today's loss. Lee could have taken the ball out of stripping range by cradling it to the ground. Cundiff looked like Suisham today (mostly good 'til it counts). Dickson didn't seem like himself the last two games. The defense was the defense (consistently good). Good overall effort today but the O-line let Joe down and forced him to make throws receivers couldn't quite set up for. FIRE CAM!! GO RAVENS!!

The better team did not win today Billy Cundiff has to make a 32 yard field goal . But i guess Baltimore' s favorite whipping boy Joe Flacco outplayed Brady today so hopefully the media and certain teamates stop blaming the QB !!!!
Thanks for great season too bad it ended so badly !!!!!!!

They had the championship in hand and it was punched out, another championship game that we should have won. They definitely need more offense, with these close games you live and die my mistakes. Tough loss, seasons over woe is me!!!!!!

Come on man...Evans has to make that catch. Anyone on that roster that plays RB, FB, TE, WR has to make that catch. He got relaxed and didn't squeeze the ball? He knows it and we know it so let's not make excuses about roster moves. The guys on the roster have to make the plays.

Im just gonna get on the bandwagon now and say we need something different in our offensive ways. Cam is just to predictable and we cant have predictable against a coach like patriots coach. How many other people knew that ray was getting the ball from shotgun when it was 4th and one????

Are you sure we need more offense? Where can we improve besides a big tall receiver for jump balls. We had enough offense to win this game. Do you think the Patriots are saying they need more offense because if you look at the numbers they didn't have a good day on offense?

The most painful fact of this game is that Brady didn't outright beat us, in fact he was statistically pretty bad. Flacco drove down the field well amidst some drops, and Lee Evans had the game-winner in his hands. And he dropped it. Simple things cost us a trip to the Super Bowl.....again.

a curse upon all your o.c.'s......first three series totaled a grand total of NEGATIVE 6 yards. if we had started the first half with the game plan that started
the second half: we would have won 87% of the time. i did the math and everything! play action. happy feet out of the collapsing pocket. motion in the backfield. screens. not static. not playing to win. only we can beat ourselves. the future is very bright though. flacco played inspired. johnny u would've been proud.

next year in Nawl'ins!!

Last year it was Housh, this year it's Evans and Cundiff. We keep bringing on these has-been's and they keep ruining our seasons.

Billy Cundiff didn't lose this game. The following did:

1. Fundamental failutes....including two penalties that nullified TWO Int's.....false starts...and worst of all - kicking a FG when the Ravens has 4th down , half yard to go - and the ball at the Pats 3. Kicking a FG at that point - is a wimpy decision - which I've come to expect from JOHN Harbaugh.

His brother would have gone for it.

THAT's why we lost. Fundamentals and wimpy coaching decisions. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.

Yep I agree. This kind of remind me when we lost to the Colts in the playoffs and Manning didn't throw a TD pass we loss on all field goals. You would think that if guys like Brady, Manning, Brees, etc. don't play a good game you should win. Me personally I think not converting the turnovers to TD's kind of hurt. That's 8 more points that we didn't get. But even with that we still had a chance.

I think changes are on the horizon. I don't know if Ray and Ed are gone but this team is going to look different next year. Some of it will be natural progression and some because certain things just didn't work out (Evans). But I think defense just died a little tonight.

You may be correct with your assessment. But even with all of those good points we still had a chance at the end of the game and didn't come though.

I will beat this to death until next season Mason should have been a Ravens uniform but Harbaugh pride got in the way and that pride should have his job looked at very seriously.

Why you say the defense died tonight? They got the offense the ball back with a chance to win or tie? A chance to win the game resulted in a dropped pass, a chance to tie the game resulted in a missed field goal? Everything that people thought would go wrong for us (Flacco and our defense against their passing game) didn't go wrong. Flacco gave us a chance to win and our defense got the ball back for the offense to have a chance? I'm not understanding your assessment.

NO excuses joe did his thing d did there thing kicker sucked he missed all year bad with kicks he should make we should have kept gram but no harbs took up for this guy all year and he did not live up to the billing. This one is all on coach great game but kicker issue should have been dealt with earlier in the season. Not to take away i think joe should have run for first down evens should have wrapped 2 hands on the ball and cundiff should have made it period lets not make excuses on what could we dropped the ball once again it it was not joes fault good job joe yea call didnt get called but we had 2 chances to seize this game a draw on 3rd and 1 bad move but im not bashing we played a hell of a game but when u get 2nd chances to take a game we have to.Only good thing is i hope we can make it back next year and i hope this burns everybody so bad that we will have a crazy good year joe showed me he can do it but we have to unleash him he stood toe to toe with one of the best today and to lose it on billys foot is just awful love my ravens just sick to my stomach cundiff needs to go he showed us what he has been showing us all year not good kicking yea 2010 was 2010 but right here and know we could have done with out and that timley miss cost us a super bowl and maybe ray and eds last games i hope not .I hope they give one more go cause they all played there butts off today and again to lose it that way i would have rather just flat out just lost the game no shoulder to cry on from me for cundiff.Iknow things happen but i know more than half of you on here did not have that going down like that this is a tuff pill to swallow it burnssssssssssssssssssssss cuts to the bone right there to give it away

I wasn't defending Evans. I just said saying Mason would have been better at the end of a season where he got cut by two teams - well, doesn't seem to be obvious...

And one more thing: we made an offer to Mason, but he turned us down saying he felt he had a better chance for the Super Bowl with the Jets... So, it was HIS choice - let's not forget that, if we want to be fair...
