I just don't understand why he turned around. All he had to do was fall on it.

When you're a pro player catches like that are so routine, you don't even think about dropping it. You don't see guys score and just fall on the ball and curl up. He just got lax at the wrong moment and it cost us.

I think Lee didn't finish the catch. Really no argument anyway. The most important person didn't think it was a catch and that's the official. Lee needed to squeeze that ball so they couldn't knock it out, make them knock him down holding onto it but it just didn't happen that way and you have to tip your hat to the defender for making the official make a decision. It went in his team's favor. That's about all you can say.

Man I feel for Joe. He really did all he could possibly do this game (save the INT). He is our franchise QB without a doubt. Get him a real, consistent option across from Q (can't believe we didn't move up for Dez Bryant)

The team didn't have a 4th round pick. Had they moved up, they would have limited themselves to probably just five picks, if not less.

True but the chance to pick up a receiver of his caliber is too good to pass up in my opinion

The team would have been putting themselves in a serious hole had they moved up for him. A tackle and pass rusher were serious needs at the time.

That draft had us taking 2 tight ends, an injured and so far unproductive Kindle in the second and Cody (great pick). This is all speculation at this point but I feel like especially with Ozzie's prowess in finding late round gems, the gamble to trade up and get Dez would've been worth it

Got my drafts confused. Still, Q had just been traded for in March. A pass rusher was the bigger need in my opinion.

I wanted to post a new topic but it won't let me. all I have to say, it's the curse of the Buffalo Bills. I'm a diehard Bills fan, I bleed buffalo red and blue. and Lee Evans dropping that ball then your kicker missing a CHIP SHOT is without question the Buffalo curse that Evans brought with him. none of it makes sense. I despise the Patriots and am crushed the Ravens didn't win, yet had multiple opportunities. The curse of the Bills have followed you w/ Lee Evans.

When the superbowl is on the line, u don't relax on the ball even if u have a sure TD ! It kills me, toughest lost in our history...
If the Patriot had not hit him or smacked the ball it would be a TD Since it was a pass he has to hold on through the ground if he was hit, or hold the ball if it is hit. He didn't hold on

you guys must not have received the memo about the new Tom Brady 5 Mississippi Rule -
the receiver must have possession of the ball for 5 Mississippi in order for it to be a catch ........

he caught the ball !!! he was in the end zone !! where was he going ? he cant advance the ball !!

guys dive in the end zone and lose possession immediately nearly every game -

that was total garbage .........
Different rule for a guy than catching it. Check the book

Tough loss for Ravens fans. When you play the Patriots everything goes wrong. They are the luckiest team in sports history.

If it's worth anything it's easier to cope a loss in the AFCC then the Super Bowl. I've been through both.

Keep your head up fans.

i disagree with your comments.

while the play happened i saw LEe Evans in possession of the ball, how long was it and did he make a football move ?

Cris Carter said it best as a WR when u get the ball FALL DOWN, GO LIMP and land on the ground with the ball...thats it

I think the refs should be held accountable for calls and noncalls. If the players can be fined for making bad choices on the field, why not hold the refs accountable?I bet there would be alot better calls being made on the field when they get fined 10,000 dollars for a bad call/noncall.RAVENS fan for life.
