Hey Cundiff

I understand everyone's disappointment/frustration, but a lot of the blame has to go to the coaches. You don't hurry your kicker on the field with :10 and running on the play clock and expect perfect execution. It just multiplied the pressure on him. Could have taken the 5 yard penalty and still been well within range.

This is a horrible way to lose. Cundiff had a chance to tie the game and just blew it, nothing more nothing less. Sure Lee should've caught it but when you have the opportunity to do your job, get it done. This was a heartbreaker. Cundiff will probably be gone.

I'm clueless as to why we didn't use Shayne Graham?

'Cause he has an awful record of missing post-season field goals. He and Kaeding can't hit clutch kicks to save their lives.

I blame Cundiff for losing the game... but not because he missed the kick at the end. I blame his lack of distance, forcing us to go for it on 4th and 6 instead of attempting a 51 yard field goal. For the missed kick, he should have had more time to set up before the kick, whether that should have been him getting on the field sooner, or a timeout being called.

That being said, I don't think we should cut him unless this kick ends up killing his confidence. We've seen it happen to kickers before and I sincerely hope that it doesn't happen to him here.

This was our year plain and simple... being in the toughest division in the NFL we may never get another opportunity like this. The better team did not win today! Good riddance Cundiff I'm not joining in on the lovefest for you I want you out of here asap!

Cundiff is SOFT....his demeanor, body language, the look in his eyes....not the kinda guy you want in the foxhole with you. I turned away from the tv when he kicked because I just had a gut feeling he was going to blow it. And he did.

100% he will not be with the team next year....Ozzie already looking.

Cundiff is a choker...he proved it today.

Nuff said.

There's no way you can't blame Cundiff for this loss. His only job is to make field goals and he failed. Everyone else did what they had to do. Funny how he sucks this season when he just got paid. It never fails

Cundiff, thanks man.. thanks for ruining the game for 50-some other players. Thanks dude. Now, get your noodle legs out of New England, start walking, and keep walking until you're straight out of land and sinking 20 feet under. That is all.

When Billy Chokediff took the field I was thinking mistake... I would have just went for it on 4th down, but the HC made the right call but I would have never put a game like this in the hands of the Ravens kicker.

Remember, if it hadn't been for Cundiff, in several games, the Raven's wouldn't have even been in the playoffs.

Ah my mistake then, I thought he had reputation as a pretty accurate kicker

Ok so for all of you who want Cundiff gone, who do you want as our Kicker? Also for those talking about Graham, it's no Guarantee that he would have made the Kick too.

There probably twenty unemployed kickers or college seniors/juniors who will make that kick 100 times in a row...anyone of them would be sufficient.

Regular season, yeah, he's got one of the highest percentages in NFL history.

Post season, his leg falls off.

Cundiff best not go on to twitter. He's trending for all the wrong reasons.

Kicker is easy to find; lets draft a clutch and trustworthy one.

Cundiff is done with the Ravens; time to move.

PS: Btw, time to move on with a new OC....

For that extra point/field goal to be any worse he wouldve had to miss the ball.
Or for him to make contact, the ball to stay still and him to fly 30 yards backwards and to the right.

I'm not going to call for Cundiff to be gone, but I damn well better see a kicking competition for next training camp. Make him work to keep the starting job.

I don't want Billy to do anything stupid tonight (because Lord knows he's already thought about it), but I think it's time for him to start talking to Scott Norwood in Chantilly, Virginia about selling real estate. Losing a game is one thing. Letting down an entire city, ruining a franchise's Super Bowl hopes--and I'm sorry, that's what happened, plain and simple. A lot of guys played their hearts out. I watched my QB outplay Tom Brady, for one.

Do you know what Billy Cundiff earns? 1.5 million guaranteed this year. So yes, the notion that the error was rushing the FG unit on the field or anything else is errant. He is paid to perform under those circumstances. No significant wind, no block, no snow, no ice, nadda. Your job as the NFL kicker, should you choose to accept it, is relatively simple. You go out and make a 32-yarder to force OT on the no-brainer coach's decision to kick. Or if you can't, there are a TON of prospects who will be more than happy to do it. He's just not that important. I have seen nothing from him to suggest that he's a Mason Crosby or Adam Vinatieri where releasing him would be a giant mistake. He was very average this year in both FG accuracy and kickoffs, and perhaps average to below average in FG range. How many of us were cringing every time he had to kick it in the back half of this season?

It shouldn't be riding him out of town on a rail, but at this point, our organization has to recover from this horrendous missed kick like Buffalo still hasn't done in 20 years.

Also, I believe every true Raven fan has earned the right to say whatever they wish at this point. There's no crueler way to end a season. I vomited. I literally did (ok, the Captain Morgan didn't help). And had to fight back tears. I'm not going to begrudge anyone the right to get out what they need to get out, and everyone here should be afforded that right.

I'll take clutch kicks over touchbacks any day of the week.

This is on Harbaugh too; where was the timeout? Did he just feel like letting it go to waste as the time expired? As much as there's no excuse for Cundiff to miss, it doesn't help to be rushed to kick a game tying field goal.

Bottom line though, Cundiff isn't clutch.

You guys need to leave Billy alone. There were lots of plays that cost us the game, not just Billy. Back off and let him hear from the people who actually know what they are talking about.
I don't know why we have to leave him alone. As a kicker, you only have one job - make kicks. There is no excuse for missing a 32 yard FG.

and there is no excues for our team to go three and out so often.

and there is no excuse for our team to let the pats march right down the field.

Why arent you bashing them too ? They have one job too. Score and dont let them score.

Cundiff is not going anywhere...... this was the absolute worst time for him to have a bad season, especially coming off a Pro Bowl season last year. Just calm down guys... and remember Cundiff shouldn't have been put in that position, Evans had took two steps in the End Zone and should have been called a TD.
i love you..
Also he didnt have much time to set up himself.
