Hey Cundiff

As much as I am ticked at the shank kick, I know Billy Cundiff feels worse then any of us can even beginning to imagine. He has to live with that for the rest of his life. It had to be his nerves to that got to him on that kick.

I agree to a point. Again though, he's missed big time FG's before.. and I'm not just talking about his time here in Baltimore either.
Yes he has, I've seen some of them. But this was HUGE. Like I said, this could have led us to a Superbowl, so my prediction is, he won't let it happen again.

Just stop. He was rushed. They had 2 seconds on the play clock, and the snap wasn't real good. Don't blame him. They needed to call a timeout.

At first I was mad and said that I didn't want him on our team next year. But now, I want him back. It wasn't his fault.

If you say things like that about your own players, then you aren't a true fan. Remember the people that burned Cutler's jersey after last year's NFC Championship? Do you really wanna be like that? I sure don't.
Snap was fine. He couldn't even attempt a 50+ fg today because we knew Billy would miss it. Plus kickoffs were moved up 5 yards this year and Billy was the only one not kicking touchbacks. We just can't rely upon him as our kicker going forward.

Nobody is beating Cundiff up over this more than himself. I'm not happy with Cundiff but I feel bad for him as well. He worked hard to get where he's at and in the biggest pressure situation he's ever been in, it's no good.

Yea I feel bad for him too. But he still can't be our FG kicker going foward. There is just ZERO confidence in him. We can't be afraid of our FG kicker.

Snap was fine. This isn't the first time he missed a pressure kick to send the game into overtime. [b]He did it against Minnesota. No, watch it again. He was rushed. My bad, the snap wasn't bad, but the way the hold was held, was bad.

We can rely on him? We have won games because of him as well. It seems that everyone forgets wins when it comes to losing.

Have some class guys. I'm sure Cundiff feels terrible, not really accomplishing anything by calling him names on an internet forum.
Yeah this. I don't think we need to thrash Cundiff. I'm sure he's having a very quiet and hard trip back to Baltimore.

I'd feel bad for Cundiff, if the Raven's weren't paying him so much to make kicks like those. 5 years and $15 million and he couldn't make it from 32?? Cut him for cap space and sign or draft someone who will play better for less
There is no excuse for missing a 32 yd field goal. NONE. If he can't make that, then we can't rely on him, period.

I want Billy back. He's done good at times, and bad at times.

Who else do you know that's like that? Joe Flacco. And We all love him.

I want Billy to show us what he's got next season, if he does bad, then don't bring him back. He deserves another chance.

I'm sure he's feeling straight up terrible. He knows that he cost this team a possible Superbowl, don't beat him up over it. He's trying.

Sign this petition if you want to keep Mr. Billy Cundiff.

They look a lot a like. Ever since reliable Stover, we just haven't found the answer. Billy's season last year seems like the only season out of place in his career. That worries me going forward if he's our guy.

After the dropped Lee Evans non td (which caused me to almost jump out of a window) why didn't Joe Flacco run for the first down? He was standing there for an eternity, with no one one open but no one to tackle him, and almost threw an INT. All he needed to do was run 3 yards and slide. We would've gotten the first down and couldve called a timeout. Then we couldve tried to throw for the td twice. If that didn't work, Cundiff would've had a shorter field goal (even though 32 was pretty short already). Why didn't Flacco just pull it down and run!!?? We had a timeout left!!!

This is so true.

I'll never understand how the field was 5 yards shorter and he somehow got less TB's. If he was really that hurt, he shouldn't have been playing.

When I saw the camera chasing after him and him pushing it away I almost felt sorry. Almost.

An NFL kicker has to make that. Has to.

If you can't, you're done.

Sounds cut-throat? The NFL's a business and should be treated as such. You can't do the job? Then we'll replace you with someone who can.

I don't want to throw Cundiff under the bus, but amateurs make 32 yarders.

32 yards...

Yet he tries to kick the leather off it... just chip it. It's 32 yards.... seriously....

I feel bad for Reed. His career deserves a Super Bowl.

This is a horrible way to lose. Cundiff had a chance to tie the game and just blew it, nothing more nothing less. Sure Lee should've caught it but when you have the opportunity to do your job, get it done. This was a heartbreaker. Cundiff will probably be gone.

I'm clueless as to why we didn't use Shayne Graham?
