I can't believe it. Joe plays a near perfect game, and then a dropped pass and a missed easy chip shot FG ruins the team's chance at a Super Bowl in what might be Ed and Ray's last season.

I think it was an unworthy ending to a great game! If Brady made a touch down drive in OT I could accept it. But a 32-yard field goal?
Think about it - that might have been Ed Reed's last game and the last chance for a shot at a Superbowl ring. I hope he and Ray Lewis don't retire. Just another season please!

Why didnt they just get the 5 yard penalty for delay of game. The kick was very rushed.

I don't think I've ever cursed at my TV more than ever.
I'm only on the Internet since we have a nice moral victory, so it does help a bit.
Still though...
It's Cundiff's fault. He didn't do anything impressive this game.

I think John should've challenged the TD catch by Lee Evans. He had two feet on the ground.

Yeah he dropped the gamewinner, but he had amazing moments before and without him, we wouldn't have had a couple of key first downs.

We had Shayne Graham and we let the superior player leave because of salary issues. Cundiff couldn't even get touchbacks today, he's useless. He barely made the earlier FG, his noodle leg forced us to go for it on 4th, and 32 yards...come on.

Cundiff is not going anywhere...... this was the absolute worst time for him to have a bad season, especially coming off a Pro Bowl season last year. Just calm down guys... and remember Cundiff shouldn't have been put in that position, Evans had took two steps in the End Zone and should have been called a TD.

I don't blame Cundiff. We knew what we had. A very poor field goal kicker. Why did we hold onto him for so long? Did we not think we'd reach a point where we're in the playoffs and would need a clutch field goal converted? Ludicrous.

Cundiff needs to go, but him missing that FG was no shocker to me, and it wasn't to John Harbaugh either. Look at his expression when the kick is missed. He half-expected it. He knew we were in a bad position with Cundiff as our kicker. That's why we were still trying to throw it in the endzone, why we went for it on 4th down the previous drive, etc.

I agree for sure. But maybe this will make him stronger. He might come out next year, knowing he missed a possible FG that could've made us Superbowl champs, and play harder.

I agree to a point. Again though, he's missed big time FG's before.. and I'm not just talking about his time here in Baltimore either.
