He made a bunch of nice tackles/knocked the ball out of the receivers' hands a couple times.

He may not have gotten an INT, but he did show up.
Well, he is the one who chose to talk about everyone needing to play so much better. He didn't this game.

The best game of Flacco's career is without a doubt the Steelers game where he drove us 92-yards for the win. If he didn't throw that INT today this game would be one of his better performances. I'm not going to hate on him for that INT too much, because as painful as it is to see that sort of thing happens and one INT won't kill your team. If Lee Evans makes that catch though, this probably goes down as Flacco's defining moment.

Lee Evans dropped Flacco's legacy in that end zone.

Because he didn't record a pick? Stop. He broke up two passes(one of them in a big situation) and didn't get beat badly.

It's sad for Ray Rice that his postseason play this year was so awful. He was a true disappointment. Approximately 3 yards per carry, multiple less-than-a-yard-to-go stuffs, no touchdowns, dropped passes & tripping up on his routes, etc. He was truly awful this postseason, and I wonder if that effects his new contract at all. I still think he deserves a huge payday, but next year if we make the playoffs he's simply GOT to elevate his game in the postseason.

It's just so heartbreaking that every year a receiver lets Joe down.
Yet he'll never go to the media and blame them. Never.

Couldn't resist :D

Joe hell of a game, Billy tough luck but on your behalf Harbaugh should of called a time out the ball was snapped with 2 seconds on the time clock we had 2 time outs left , lot of people wont agree but if you tivo or dvr the game watch the play again seemed rushed

Joe Flacco played lights out today. Loved his presser after the game. The talking heads won't agree but he was better than Brady today. Feel bad for Lee. Can't believe he dropped it. Cundiff choked. Last year he was a pro bowl kicker this year average at best. Its time to have a kicking competition in camp. Great season Ravens. I will still be wearing the Purple and Black tomarrow. This one hurts bad, the way we lost will stay with me for a long time. But these are my guys, and my spirit will never wavier.

According to Jay Feely, it's the kicker's job to call the timeout if he feels rushed.

It hurts...but still very proud of the Ravens!

Great game Joe. Maybe next year we can put all the pieces around you to get it done.

The detractors are already pointing out how Flacco left too many plays on the field: overthrowing a wide open Torrey Smith for a TD, missing a wide open Vonta Leach for a TD, and the INT that stalled that 4th quarter drive. It's funny how these same talking heads tend to ignore the fact that every QB, including Rodgers, Brady, Brees, and Peyton, leave plays on the field every game, including missing and overthrowing wide open receivers. I'm not sure why so many people love to criticize Flacco, especially after a game like this.

Nobody, not even Skip Baseless, can say that Flacco wasn't magnificent today.

The defense wasn't playing up to expectations and the offensive line was laughably poor. Flacco didn't care and put the team on his back, in the AFC Championship game, in New England.

Nope, I'm not going to stop until I want to. :D Btw, "didn't get beat badly" is exacty what I mean. If you are going to call out team mates by name, you better show up and do better than "not getting beat badly".

Damn, that hurts big time when you say it that way. So true. But as pointed out elswhere, Joe won't utter one word about that. He is a true role model for all.

Interesting though - Flacco and Smith both find redemption in the same postseason.

Calling him out by name? He was asked about Joe specifically.

He broke up two passes, one of them in a huge situation. I'd say he played a good game.

To your note about kicker competition, I couldn't agree more. It felt like all throughout this season, Harbaugh just gave Cundiff the job by default, even though when Graham was inserted into the game he was purely reliable.
