What a game by Joe . Evans doesn't hold on to
A touchdown a we have to attempt a field goal .

Joe gets a A today in my book . Oh and Birk ,please
Retire , you cost us two big plays that cost us a
Championship

Who's blaming joe? Did you want to try to get a jump on people or something? This thread isn't even needed. Peace

Joe put his team in a position to win.... again. His teammates didn't all step up with him. The Evans catch should have been reviewed. I'm sure they were comfortable with kicking a 32 yarder though but still...........

Clearly we need to play Tyrod. Flacco just isn't good enough. I mean seriously, so what if he just outplayed the GOAT Tom Brady. No big deal, that should be expected. /sarcasm.

Flacco just proved he is the real deal and our franchise QB. We need to get him his own Megatron and he would be unstoppable. I am sick of all these dropped passes.

Joe was great. WRs were great. Backs were great. Defense was great.

O-Line stalled drives, Flacco made one bad decision, Evans dropped a GW pass (had it stripped really), and Cundiff blew a OT-forcing kick. That's why we lost. This team played great and Flacco reconfirmed my faith in him as this franchise's QB, which had been shaky this season.

Get rid of Cam & Cundiff, draft some good linemen, hit it hard again next year.

He had an awesome game, and yet again, the receivers for the most part played like a large steaming pile of poop. So many drops.

Joe is the only one who doesn't deserve any flack. He had the game won for us. Made a tough throw to Lee which was dropped.

Joe proved his worth in this game. He outplayed Brady.

you know whats funny though? when you use the argument that joe outplayed brady people will say that brady was up against the best defense in the league and joe was playing against the worst D in the league. But when joe plays against a great D (texans) they just say he sucked.. the dude just cant win..

Nice thread in the aftermath of disaster Perk.

I'm proud of you too Joe. Heck, I'm proud of the entire offense.

I'm proud of our D too. While that "bend but don't break" stuff gives me heart attacks, how many teams can hold Brady and company to 23 points?

Cundiff. I just don't know what to say man. Sorry, but this isn't your first big miss. And 32 yards? You gotta make those man. I think you might have to move on.

Evans, man, you took 2 steps. Inside 2 mins it should have been reviewed since there are no challenges. What can I say? NFL didn't want us to win and it showed. But we almost beat them anyway didn't we?

You kidding? Joe Flacco was the reason we had a chance to win that game. One caught ball or one made field goal is the difference between Joe Flacco becoming a legend and what we have now.

Joe Flacco did everything in his power to win this game. He threw that last pass that any reciever, college or otherwise, would've made, and had the game won. Lee Evan blew it, and Cundiff, who should've been gone mid- season, better not have a job with this team next year. He sucks big time. Any college kicker would've made that. Get rid of worthless Lee Evans who is just sucking us dry by taking up valuable salary cap, and please let's not see Billy Cundiff with this team ever again, another worthless vampire sucking us dry.

Joe Flacco played a great game today. In my opinion, Evans did catch that ball and it was a touchdown. He clearly had control, and he was in the end zone with both feet in, but frankly it never should have come to that. We should have kept the ball on the ground when Joe threw that interception. There was no need to throw. New Englands line was tired out, all we had to do was run around them, but no Mr. CC has to do a hero play and we get picked off.

Cameron has to go, and Cundiff?? You have to be kidding with that guy. WIth him you never know.

Very good game Joe IMO!!

Would like to see him change more plays at the LOS but.....I myself just don't know if he is allowed or not. That Draw play he should have checked outta of. All in all I think he played well.

You can't even possibly blame Joe, he played his heart out and this was his breakout game.
Easily the best of his career.

Gonna be a depressing week in Baltimore Evans and Cundiff let the fans and the team down.:(

Joe, you deserve a competent offensive system, receivers that can catch perfectly thrown balls, and a kicker that can make 30 yard field goals.

Yeah for the first time... the rest of the team let Joe down.
[/quote]
I don't think you can say that at all with the INT he threw and how the defense got him the ball back the very next play. This defense did a GREAT job against a tremendous offense. Look at Brady's stats and tell me the defense let the team down today.

Joe AND the defense played great. There were other factors why we lost and it comes down to the fact we were playing a great football team on the road and you can play almost perfect and still lose in those conditions.
