Joe played amazing today, no one can take away the fact that he went toe to toe with Tom Brady and beat him at his own game. Dropped pass, missed holding call and terrible kicker are to blame
You got that right. Except for a few nice completions there in Q4 (Q3?), Brady and his "fearsome" offense were pretty much under wraps (thank you Ray Ray and crew). We lost b/c of a dropped pass in the endzone and b/c Ray Finkle put on Billy's jersey today.

We lost this game because of a shank. Of course I was let down like everyone else, but in the end, it made me confident that the Ravens will be Super Bowl Champs next year. Flacco has proven this year that he can lead a game winning drive down the field, and can handle the pressure. Our rookies will be a little more experienced come next year, and Reed and Lewis will be even more hungry for a Super Bowl next year.

The Evans play, from what I can tell, is incomplete. Moore just made the best move he could at that moment. I need to see a better replay, but the fact that I've reviewed it many times and still cannot be 100% sure on either side means that the refs are not to blame on that play: that was as close as it could get.

I think Cundiff will keep his job because the Ravens still believe in him. We have to as well. Week 1, Flacco threw a pass to Torrey that hit his hands and he dropped it. In the final seconds, Flacco gave him a second chance to save the day and Torrey pulled through. We have to do the same for Cundiff. It was bad, no excuse there, but it happens. It just happened at the worst time.

In the end, we know we can beat the Patriots, and we know we're the best team. Next year is our best chance yet.

I feel like going out and fighting a patriots fan what band wagoners
I don't know anybody around here who likes the Patriots. Of course the AFC North Ravens un-fans wanted them to win. But not b/c they like the Patriots. Just b/c they hate the Ravens.

I was thinking that I would hate to be Cameron, Evans or Cundiff on that plane ride home. I'm sure they have some explaining to do.

I think the Ravens should sign Braylon Edwards to a one year deal he would be a low risk maybe high reward signing
If you like watching a receiver drop balls he is the guy for you. I want no part of him. Look at how weak the SF receivers are and they CUT him. Says all I need to know about the guy.

Yeah well Gronkowski made that catch near the sideline that was called incomplete that would have set up 1st and goal. It went both ways.
Difference is the patriots could have challenged that play , the Evans play had to be buzzed from the replay booth because it was under two minutes

I watched the Evans play several times and it clear that he had the ball and it was knocked out. It really sucks because you can dive towards the goal line and score, but you must maintain the ball out of bounds on a reception.

Too bad we don't have a competitive baseball team to take our minds off of the Ravens for a few months.

I.. don't know what to say. I've witnessed some extremely devastating losses but this one tops the list....... Those of you who say the officials cost the game wow.... We were beaten by OURSELVES.

It'll be a while 'till I'm able to get up off my feet after a loss like that.

Can we please fast forward to offseason??? I cannot take this.

I have to say that I think Flacco had a great game and he has one heck of an arm on him. I am definitely saddened by the loss but after leaving my apartment, going to the store and coming back, I was able to cool off and look forward to next year. I'm hopeful that we can get to the SB next year.

It also helps that I have NHL I can still focus on. :)

The ravens need more on the offensive line. Flacco was pressured almost every play. Brady had all day to throw. The ravens had 1 sack. Just think what Joe would do if he got time to throw. The ravens were running great at the end of the game. Ricky Williams should have gotten more carrys.

I am extremely dissapointed with this loss and probably won't forget it for a bit but you have to move on eventually. I am looking forward to next season with Ray Lewis and hopefully Ed Reed returning. I feel the team will draft well as it always does. I don't see the defense getting worse but I see the offense getting much better. Looking forward to next season.

Isn't that the truth? Thank God for the NHL!

I'm still upset about that non-fumble call on Boldin's last catch... we should have had a 1st and 10 or 1st and Goal instead of 2 & 1. Not to mention the blatant hold by the Pats DB on Pitta that was conveniently not called. The Pats also false started on more than one occasion with no call. There was definitely something fishy going on, but whatever, we dropped the ball and now have to root hard for the G-Men.

I've calmed down a little bit, but boy does it still hurt. As it will for a long long time.

Its seems like we find new epic ways to end our season every year.

They explained that rule. When the ball is fumbled forward and out of bounds, it will be spotted where the fumble occurred and not where it went out of bounds.

The refs were clearly on the Patriots side. I wouldn't suggest that the game was "fixed" because we covered the point spread. I'm not watching the Super Bowl this year. I don't want to hear anyone talking about how Brady is the best QB ever.

That ending was so bad that I sat in silence for an hour after the game. I didn't even watch the NFC playoff game. My wife didn't even come down to the man cave for 2 hours after it was over.

I want to start a new thread. Fire Cameron, cut Cundiff, release Evans!

Idk if someone said this earlier or not but why did ellerbe play in replace of McClain during most of the game? I was thinking he might of been injured or sick, but i saw him play on Special Teams. Is it bc Eleerbe is better at pass coverage or something? any help would be appreciated!

Somebody refresh my memory: who totally ripped off that NE RB's helmet there in Q2 or Q3 last night? We were laughing about how these guys beat up on each other and I couldn't remember who did that.

Cundiff needs to be kicked off the team a.s.a.p. This game would have been ours, if not for him how does he get a 39 yd. field goal, but not a 32?
