AFC Championship - Baltimore Ravens At New England Patriots

Dear Ravens:
Great game!! Should we have won that game? Hell Yeah! Refs should be disgusted with themselves for the not making the right call. But that's was completely expected. Ravens, you guys played your hearts out. I thank you and I appreciate it and I cannot wait for next season. I am very happy with Flacco's performance. I would like Lee Evans to stick around. Torrey Smith, Ray Rice, D. Pitta, Lewis, Reed, Suggs, I am really pround of all of these guys man! Hold your head up y'all!! What the heck am I going to do until next season???

Now that I've calmed down, I feel ready to post without getting warned for profanity, etc. I was screaming for Harbaugh to throw the red flag on Evan's catch. That would have been the game. Those of you who say that coaching didn't cost the game are wrong. Cameron's predictable playcalling and the lack of a red flag there cost us the game as much as Cundiff's wounded duck attempt at tying it up.

I coulda cried... cundiff... man no words for that guy. This sucks, this ruined my night and my week, I am tired of losing year after year in the playoffs... If I was Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, I would probably feel like retiring after giving it all you have only for the off/kicker to lose you the game.
Yeah well lets be honest Ray slacked on his run stopping also...he has lost a step him and Reed will probably and should retire or go second string.

Pretty understandable that everyone is upset with how things ended. The Evans "drop", then the missed Cundiff FG. I am, however, very pleased with the Ravens performance on both sides of the ball. It all came down to one-play. One-play. That's what separates the Ravens from the Patriots.

My takeaway from this game: the Ravens answered every question that was asked of them this week.

1.) How are the Ravens going to slow Tom Brady down?
In the words of Samuel L. Jackson, "allow me to retort"; how many passing TDs did Brady have tonight? 0. And how many interceptions? 2, 3 if you discount the offsides penalty on the Ravens.

2.) Will Joe Flacco be able to go up against the likes of Tom Brady & the Patriots and perform consistently?
Again, how many TDs did Flacco throw for? 2, 3 if you count the "drop" by Evans. How many interceptions? 1. In fact, you look at the final game stats; Flacco simply out performed Brady in every facet of todays game.

So, those are my takeaways. I know they seem meaningless as the Patriots are heading to Indianapolis, but there is a silver-lining in all this. I think Joe did everything in his power to silence all of the naysayers and critics this week.

One thing is for sure, there are going to be a lot of conversations from the Ravens to the league on what constitutes a touchdown in the endzone.

so many "what ifs"... if one thing could be changed, I wish Flacco would have tucked it and ran on the 3rd down -- he could have gotten the 1st and OB. Even if he gets tackled in bounds, we use the last time out and take 3 more cracks at the endzone... would of, could of, should of.... great season anyway... love our Ravens!!!!

Look, one guy lost the game. Yes, I am as mad as hell, but this is what is going to happen

1. Fire Cam. It has to be done.
2. Cut Cundiff, and draft a new kicker.
3. Get decent replacements for Lewis and Reed. We are not contenders without them.

When we cut Graham and went with Cundiff, I was telling everyone that this move will come back to haunt us. Little did I know that this would pan out like it did. I felt that if we lost, then we would lose by more than the 7 points that the oddsmakers were fronting the Pats. If there is any consolation, then we covered the spread, so all is not lost. It doesn't make me feel any better. I feel totally disappointed. Worse than last year or the loss to the Colts in 2006.

And I am still proud! We had a great Year, we will return even stronger next year! With a good OS and our young players getting finaly coached in the summer we will be fine!

It's still unbelievable that the Pitta mugging wasn't called... he was riding him for crying out loud! That would've gotten us at least 5 yards closer and a first down.... refs were beyond horrible today.

I'm done with football this year. Can't stand the Giants or the Pats. No way I'm watching the SB even if the 49ers win.

I dont blame Lee Evans......the defender hit it out of his hands......now on the 3rd and 1 play Flacco shouldve run for the first instead of trying to throw it to Pitta.........all in all it should be in OT right now.....

1. Game wasn't Flacco's fault at all get off of him, he has the hardest job on our team especially with cam... But he played admirably against a well-coached NE

2. Cam Cameron should be fired and never hired for anything higher than a HS coaching job, You have been awful for years and you are one of the worse coordinators i have ever seen. You do not deserve to be on this team, idc about your credentials, you are a cancer to this team and have dragged us down with your ancient Air Coryell Offense. I hope to never include your name with Ravens EVER again.

3. Evans and Cundiff your lack of showing up today sucked but Evans has been hurt all yr, and cundiff has been returning from an injury. You two better work your asses off bc you are brought in to do exactly what you failed to do today.

4. Nice try Ravens Hopefully with a new OC we will do better next yr. Damn this game hurt...

Best game ever!!!! It was beautiful. Really.

I know the guy is only voicing his opinion, but this guy/gal is just asking for trouble. I think the Mods should do the true Ravens fans a favor and just suspend his IP address for a few days.

Look, we must cut Cundiff, any other kicker would have made that. Secondly, Ray and Ed are probably gone. This game was lost by one player, Cundiff. So, if we want to be a contender next year, we must retain Reed, and Lewis, Draft their replacements. We must fire Cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good game and a good season. I am getting drunk right now so the pain isn't quite as bad. Still Ed and Ray are both probably done and this is a crummy way to go out. Nuts to Cam Cameron. I am tired of saying wait till next year. I still love the Ravens though.

Cam is a free agent cordinator after this season so we dont have to worry about Cam anymore
The Redskins or the Jets would take him in a heartbeat. Oh yeah, I went there.
