Win Or Lose Sunday

32 posts in this topic

I will still love my ravens and will not make excuses for the lose but also will not treat the victory as a lost like some fans have on other boards. You would think with the negative comments last week that we lost the game lol.

I am pumped up for the game and believe we pull out a vicotry but also know if we lose the bashers will come out and all I have to say is I support JOE and ALL the Ravens because this has been an awesome 4 years and will continue to be successful

This is my opinion of course :).

I love our team but I rather this game of been played in Baltimore if you catch my drift...Losing to those 4 bad teams stung, it really did. But I still think we will whoop the Patriots, more confident than any other game we played this year...just wish It was in Baltimore...not so we can Rattle brady with crowd noise, just so they cant rattle joe..

I have my doubts about Joe, but for this week at least if you are a true Ravens fan you should be a true Flacco fan and hope for hiim to succeed.

Even if the Ravens lose, it's still going to be a win for the team. In fact, a loss might be more beneficial for the franchise. There's no way Cam Cameron survives this off-season without a Super Bowl victory, and just getting rid of him would fix the offense.

I just can't believe that the FO is blind to all his faults. I really do believe that he only remained at the end of last season because of the lock out. They gave him all the power he craved and the rope he needed. IMO we are here despite Cam not because of him. Even a SB win should not save Cam. Our offense has been predictable, stale, vanilla and inconsistent. Should be more than enough to rid us of him.
im just concerned with our defense when opponents offenses run the hurry up. Our defense isnt great verse the no huddle. We look tired and give up alot more than usual. I know damn well that tom brady is going to run the hurry up for most of the game. Chuck pagano better have a defensive plan that. I really hope..

We're not great versus the no huddle/hurry up because our zone coverage leaves something to be desired most times. If we would only stay in man coverage and throw some creative blitz packages on 3rd and long when this happens, I think we'd be alright. When we give the QB time to pack a lunch though, our zone coverage breaks down badly.

Just saw this thread and I was going to post the exact same thing. The Cam Cameron Experiment must end in Baltimore.

Win or lose...this is one fine football team. I tip my black twill ravens cap to the players, coaches, FO and fans who make it so and offer my sincerest thanks and appreciation.

I know many people are going to have a meltdown if we lose and I'll go into my yearly spew of how Super Bowls don't grow on trees. They aren't easy to win folks. We've made it to the final four, that's saying something. Ofcourse we want the whole damn thing. I'm a Ravens fan through thick and thin. This game to me is at the very least, a high point.

No matter what happens Cam Cameron has to be fired, we need an OC who can incorporate all our personnel and maybe just maybe we draft a big time WR, like a big 6'5" dude....who knows

As crazy as it sounds, if Cam is definitely fired if we lose either game, I probably won't be too upset over the loss.

Yep, same here. I'd be furious, then I'd read "Ravens part ways with OC Cam Cameron" and I think "Wow, we have an even better shot next year."

I am very proud of our Ravens for the great year we've had. I really think we could have had an undefeated season but still, making it to the AFCCG is still wonderful, even if we lose. I know I will still bleed black and purple no matter what happens.

what's with this "win or lose" talk? lol! we didn't just get to the AFCCG just to say that we've made here again. we gotta capitalize on it and seize the moment. so, i want:

1st...a win over the patriots.....on the road...period! it should silence the critics about their previous road woes!
2nd..a Ravens Super Bowl victory...regardless of their opponent
3rd...Cam Cameron fired quick, fast and in a hurry

GO RAVENS!!!

If we have to lose, I hope it's in some manner that proves how inept Cam Cameron is and gets him the boot. I really think the score of this game is going to be very close, less than a touchdown deciding it. But if we lose, Ozzie, Steve, Eric, you've watched this team, you've broken down the film, please get rid of Cam Cameron. Please.

It shouldn't save Cam, but I'm afraid it might. Bisciotti is a smart man and I think he wanted to fire him last off-season too, but he's not going to be able to breakup the bromance between Harbs and Cam after a Super Bowl. The only question is how long he can survive off of a Super Bowl victory, because this team's offense is never going to grow under Cam. Another few years of this crap and Flacco's development might be forever stunted.

Who knows... maybe instead of Ray, Ed and Birk retiring if we win the Super Bowl, Cam will be the one to retire instead and make it easier on us.

Cam Cameron is like Keith Richards in that he can't be killed be conventional means. This guy has been one of the worst at his job in the business for over 25 years and still keeps finding employment. Obviously his retirement after a Super Bowl victory would be the dream scenario, but it's not going to happen.

Honestly if we lost, I'd hope Ray and Ed would go up to Ozzie and threaten to retire unless Cam was canned. Can you say fastest phone call ever?

Who said anything about losing?!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, this thread sounds like a post- mortem. I've never heard such pessimistic comments before a Championship game. What happened to the "Winning isn't everything; its the only thing!" mindset. If the players and coaches go into this game with the same poor attitude as some of you, the game is lost --- it's already over. We will win tomorrow because we have a more balanced team. I expect tomorrow's game will be a battle of epic proportions and we will be victorious. As Winston Churchill told his British soldiers before sending them to war, "I am not asking you to do your best; I am telling you to do what is required." If our players do what is required, we will win. If they will play exactly like they played in Pittsburgh earlier this year, we will win. The Patriots went there and lost by a score of 25-17 in Week 8. We won 23-20 the following week. I realize that NE isn't the same team they were then but neither are we. Wait til they meet Vonte Leach!!!! We have a rendevous with destiny. The stars and the moon are aligned. At 3 PM tomorrow, Ray Lewis will unleash Hell against the Patsies and it won't be pretty. Cheers!
