Rather run the fans talking trash about our teams qb out of the stadium.

Maybe I can finally get season tickets ;-)

Seriously though, I hope Joe isn't paying attention to the haters.

Exactly! And it wouldn't cost me $25K to upgrade my 4 seats to lower level.

Not trying to single your posts out -- just happens that I disagree P:

It's one thing to not be fully appreciated. That's to be expected all throughout life. But to get no respect whatsoever, especially from the people you represent?
What do you mean by "people you represent"? Is it the Ravens? Because other than that Reed comment, players have had Flacco's back.

Think of it this way: every single day the guy is criticized. He's only ever talked about to be criticized. All everybody keeps talking about is how Flacco is a whiner who has to be carried by his team, blah, blah, blah. Flacco, unfortunately, for all his "cool" demeanor, is not Eli Manning - he gets heated and he doesn't just grin and shrug it off. So now he's pegged, and people will snipe at him every chance they get. Now imagine you're the GM of say, the Dolphins, you're starting Matt Moore, and you're pick is just low enough that you miss out on Luck and Griffin III. You have Brandon Marshall in place, you have a decent running game with Reggie Bush, you have a good offensive line anchored by 4 time Pro Bowler Jake Long, you have a new head coach, and suddenly you hear through the grapevine that Joe Flacco is being made available by the Ravens. For the right price, wouldn't you at least consider making that deal? And if you're Joe, wouldn't you consider taking that deal? Personally I'd love to be out of the AFC North and throwing to Brandon Marshall.
Personally, I'd just file a restraining order against Cam Cameron if I was Flacco.

I get what you're trying to say, but Miami is a bad example. NE is always a threat, and NYJ has had a good run. Not to mention Buffalo is a team on the rise if they have a good draft/FA.

Today i was talking with my Patriots buddy and we were talking about the upcoming game and he said "I think Flacco doesent get enough credit and doesent deserved to be critisized" I couldent believe it ethier. I believe in Flacco and if we lose Sunday he is still our Quarterback. Cam i think is holding us back alot. Also Flacco's recievers arent getting seperation this could be from the formation. Flacco wins by the way. Matt Ryan can throw all theses yards but yet he can't win one playoff game! Whats up with that? Stats are nothing sometimes. Flacco is a winner and has shown that to us before. Vikings(if we didnt miss that field goal) Steelers this year? This guy is going to be great. The media is all for the money and say things to get peoples attention. Its kinda like propaganda. ESPN only shows cetain teams most of the time because thats were they get their money from the fans of those teams who watch it. Don't listen to the media even after a win.. I collect ravens newspaper and the Ravens were always trashed and underdogs. Just don't bother with the media. Just watch it after winning a superbowl thats the right time too! okay my rant is over!

I hope Joe stays in Baltimore and I also don't understand why so many fans don't like him.
He ( along with the team ) has taken us to the playoffs four years in a row. Which other rookie QB
has has gone to the AFC Championship game two out the four years in his career? Guess what people
Joe Flacco has and I believe he has so much more to do, the question remains will that be in Baltimore?

The media not supporting him may cause Flacco to want to leave... Like there is always haters. I hope Flacco doesent listen to the media. Us fans(most of them) support him. Thats what matters. Also the locker room besides Reeds comment supports him.
I agree with you buddy!

Really, how many fanbases are satisfied with their QB play?

Not many.

I wish there was a stat for this, because I guarantee Flacco would lead the league in "Most Disrespected" and "Least Supported" QB with at least 10 starts this year.

Yeah except we made it to the playoffs and Philly's just dumb. We have a better coach, a better front office and a better QB. if Joe gets run out of Baltimore, it won't be because of me.

Ive said it before whats going to keep Flacco here under Cam is the ravens backing up the brinks truck and writing that blank check. 8 mil a year(which is around what the ravens maybe able to afford if they keep rice) isnt going to cut it.

Besides Brees, Manning and Brady what starting NFL QB doesn't have a vocal minority of fans complaining about them ? Heck Eli was getting critisized this year until the Giants made the playoffs and he was a former SB MVP.
Win on Sunday and it subsides for 2 weeks

Too much credit when you win and too much blame when you lose.

I can't believe the media haven't picked up on this little gem:

2008 - Rookie season with Hue Jackson as QB coach.

2009 - Progression with Hue Jackson as QB coach.

2010 - Progression with Jim Zorn as QB coach.

2011 - Regression with Cam Cameron as QB coach and offensive coordinator.

It's not an extensive sample size, but it should convince EVERYONE that Cameron needs to go.

Cam should be run out of Baltimore whether we win the Super Bowl or not. 1-2 very well called games every season does not cut it in the NFL.

joe flacco is a darn good qb. against houston his o-line got annihilated. reed and watt were monsters. people are in fact idiots talking about joe this and joe aint that. he is big, strong, big arm. there are about 20 teams in the nfl that would love to have #5 slinging the ball. i saw far too many dropped - catchable balls by our tight ends and wr sunday. and how many were right on the numbers. and were big time 3rd down throws. cam camerons play calling is pretty horrible. however when your team goes to the ...for 4 years in a row, chances are they arent going to fire the OC. how could you justify it? steve- i know we went 12-4 and swept pittsburgh, but for real Cam has to go. our defense is the sole reason we are 12-4. bullishy. come on people. christ i listen to 1057 and to all the retards that call in and for real. its embarrasing.
..
oh and the comment about bledsoe and romo...romo is a top 5 quarterback. look at his stats. he cant play defense. if dallas had the ravens defense and mentality they would be playing sunday not the giants. i am a cowboys fan too and just like people crap on joe they do the same with tony. look at numbers. thats all you have to say. come on tell me im wrong.

joe is the best QB the ravens have everhad. so let me ask you. who would you replace him with? a rookie? good luck.

I believe I've said it on the site before, but if not, I know I've said to my family, friends and co-workers.

The reason Joe gets so much heat is because the offensive-defensive scales are not tilted in his favor. Every "W" is because the defense bailed him out, or because Rice had a good day running. Every "L" is because Joe didn't hold up his end of the bargain.

That's it. There is no complex math to it, very straight forward.

The Ravens have been and always will be (I hope so) a defensive oriented team. Until that amount of talent on the offensive side of the ball greatly outweighs the talent on the defensive side, it will always be the offense that takes the blame for the losses. And who better to pin it on than the guy that leads the offense on the field.

I am a huge Joe fan, I've done nothing but go to bat for him day in and day out. My biggest fear is that all of this negative criticism is going to drive him away. Then what? Tyrod... and we're right back to Year One. The only difference between Tyrod and Joe -- Ray, Ed, Terrell and the like might not be on the other side of the ball to carry this team while he learns the curve.

My biggest hope this Sunday, is that Joe has an offensive line that can setup the run game and give him time in the pocket. I hope he has receivers that catch passes like they have super glue on their gloves. I hope he puts on a passing clinic! Not 50 or 60 times, but enough times that people will see that when you give the guy a chance -- he can and will win ball games. And not because of his defense, not because of Rice -- but because the other 52 men wearing Ravens jerseys meet him halfway by doing THEIR jobs.

In short -- There are no individual victories! You win and you lose as a TEAM.

As someone stated above, I would feel not only horrible, but sick to my stomach if the Ravens Nation drove Joe out of town after all he has done, after all he has given us. He has made us feel confident that our team can beat anyone, anywhere! He has given us a REAL reason to watch football in January! And yes, he has given us heartbreak on a few occassions -- but if you're willing to take the bad with the good, just ask yourself --

Is Joe worth losing?

'Cause honestly, I don't think anyone who is a Ravens fan would care to see Joe Flacco turn into Johnny U. for another team.

I'm done. Peace!

It's very likely if he doesn't win the super bowl Joe Flacco will be traded. and if he has his typical lackluster showing against the Patriots it's a certainty that Flacco will be traded. I think people are getting fed up with not winning a superbowl around here.Like the Kyle Boller experiment Joe Flacco will fade into history on some bench somewhere-is it possible?

I think he cares too much about what people think of him, it's not a popularity contest.

When you have a smear campaign against your name - and your game - despite being successful, it's an issue. Ray, Ed, and Suggs hear and respond to criticism, too.

No, it wont happen. He will not be traded unless he were to demand it due to continued disrespect. It would not come from the FO.

Do you really think there is a smear campaign against him-wouldn't it be if he just played well consistently that everyone would be happy here? After reading that he lied about saying he had never even been on a skateboard it brings about a character issue-every kid-boy or girl has tried skateboarding at least once in their lives.

YES. There is a smear campaign against him. Some members of the national media dog Flacco for every tiny flaw while overlooking the same and, sometimes, more egregious errors in other players. Frankly, you've been trying to spearhead it on this board for the past few months, although to no avail - most of what you say is too outlandish to take seriously. Most valid arguments against Flacco can be reasoned down. His pros vastly outweigh the cons.

Why would he lie about never being on a skateboard? Just stop. See what I wrote about "outlandish" statements...
