I'm ready to put my money on the Ravens this Sunday. If NE thinks they're getting Denver Part2 they are sadly mistaken. And NE's defense is nothing close to Houston's pass rushing attack. Yes, the O-line needs to do better, yes, Joe needs to get it out quicker, yes, our receivers need to have softer hands. And against NE I'm confident they all will get it done. Would LOVE to see more routes run over the middle, crossing routes, picks, WR screens, rather than a constant stream of out and ups and corner routes; stuff that doesn't take so long to develop. The key for our offense continues to be the run game and if Rice, Leach and Williams can gash the Patriots front seven there will ultimately be plenty of opportunities for Joe and our receivers down field.

I tired of Pats fans bragging about beating the Broncos and us only winning by 7 against the Texans. You can't even compare the two. They also seem to reject the fact that they didn't beat a team with a winning record all year. They lost to the steelers who we beat twice. I hope the team watches that steelers pats game we can learn from how they played the tight ends and wes. We got this.

Picture this,it`s pre season in August 2012 T Sizzle invites Skip to watch the early practice Skip is on the sideline and watches Joe throw every pass short to all the receivers.Skip being his normally quiet self calls out Joe "Hey Joe why are all your passes falling so short"Sorry Skip Joe replies did n`t you know how heavy this SuperBowl ring is when you try to throw a pass with it on" DOH !!!

GO RAVENS
I BELIEVE IN ALL THE TEAM
GO RAVENS

@bio - yeah, I figured in saying that I'd just as soon have Suggs not show up for first take this week would sound a little stuffy. Maybe there really is nothing to it, but I am just praying we are able to focus on the task at hand and nothing else. Perhaps going on to have to chatter with Skip isn't a distraction for Sizzle, but I just don't want anything interfering with our team's focus.

You better believe we are wearing a hole in the Steelers v. Pats game film from earlier this year as we speak.

Yeah, I trust they're professional enough to know what and how to focus on.

I agree with Suggs in that it's gonna be the toughest game for us this season - even if we win. Neither the Niners nor the Giants are as strong as the Patriots...

That might be our biggest hops. Throughout the season we proved time and again that the stronger the other team is, the better we play...

I believe in Joe. I'm actually a little more concerned about how our D is going to fare against Sir Whines-A-Lot (Brady) than how Joe is going to fare against NE's putrid/sorry "defense".

Somebody had to do something to get Joe on track, and I think thats just what Ed Reed did. Ed said FACTS about Joe, I watch the game and could tell he was " A lil rattled" like Ed said. I just think its going to make Joe play at a higher level... GO RAVENS

I think Ed was just trying to motivate Joe, but in a way that hasn't been done before. When the dude that rarely speaks says something, people tend to listen.

People seem to forget the Texans Defense is #2 in the league and Flacco still threw 2 TDs against them. And everyone will be surprised after he tears up the #31 defense. People have to keep these things in perspective... we have a damn good team.

All the pundits like to point out that Joe's numbers are down this year. It's no wonder they are down. The average ranking of his opponent's pass defense has been 8.3 this year. "Normal" would be 16.5, Brady faced 15.75. Give the guy a break. Last Sunday he got the ball in the endzone when our running game couldn't. He also came back from a 5-16 start to complete his next 9 passes in a row and finished the game with a 97.1 passer rating against a team that allowed an average rating of 66.8 this year. Get off the man's back already.

I hope that Billy the Hood's decision to run up the score on the Broncos inspires Cam to do the same this weekend. Come out on all cylinders and don't take their foot off the gas until the clock reads 0:00.

From what I heard on ESPN was Reed was just giving Joe some constructive criticism? Was it negative? In my opinion, no. Was it needed heading into the AFC Championship? Probably not. Not very opportune, but don't blow this out of proportion ESPN.

it really annoys me the way ESPN is trying to blow this Reed interview up into a locker room issue. The Jets, Broncos, Chargers, Steelers, etc are all irrelevant so now they're trying to INVENT drama in Baltimore, its so stupid...i wish they'd stop

Oh. I thought at first Suggs v Uggs was a comment about Brady's physical appearance.

The media doesn't have Tebow to focus on so they want to create a problem in our locker room. Ravens, do not let them do that and Ravens fans get on twitter, Youtube, NFL Network and ESPN and start sounded off. How come we always hear from Ravens haters but never hear from loyal Ravens fans? Isn't there any one in our organization who will go to bat for us in the media? I am sick and tired of all this bull crap that the Ravens and especially Flacco has endured since we have been in the league. Enough is enough. I am incensed, mad, irate and generally pis... off. Go in and beat those Pats and let's go to the SB.

Floridafan, you should have been in ESPN blog earlier. Several of us called out Jamison Henseley. Of course his was one blogs that only printed half the story on Flacco. I think we got under his skin because he started defending himself! lol. Lesson learned: Don't confront a reporter with the truth. They can't handle the truth! The irony is that his argument was, "hey I was only doing my job." Funny when Flacco says something similar, Henseley is likely to call him whiny.

It just goes to show you how the media can take your words and blown it way out of proportion. What Ed said wasn't bad mouthing Joe at all, it's just people taking your words out of context. The media in this country sucks. All of it. People should mind their own business and not worry about what other people are doing so much. Okay time to jump off my soap box ;-)
