If you read Ed Reeds entire comment, you will see that mostly he was indicating that Flacco and the offense is being hamstrung by Cam Cameron. We already know Suggs has been critical of the offensive playcalling many times this season!

Let's wait until after Sunday's game to discuss Cameron.

Statistics can be presented to support any arguement however, to clearly support the point you are trying to make, several things need to be included to make a fair comparison: 1. Joe's post season stats vs the others, 2. Joe's QBR (Not passer rating but the ESPN QBR which will take into account QB running, sacks, fumbles lost by the QB, etc., 3. comeback stats for all of the QB's and comparitive stats against common opponents. Cam Newton had great stats but would you put him in the class with Brady, Eli or the other top 5 QBs? Joe is a good QB but if you could trade Joe straight up for Brady, a healthy Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers, would you do it? That is the test of true value.

Also, ask yourself this, which of the non-playoff teams would likely have been in the playoffs with Joe instead of their current QB. The Bengals, Broncos, Raiders and possibly the Chiefs are the possibles I can think of and I am not sure the Bengals, Chiefs and Raiders would have done better with Flacco than they did with their current QBs.

In essence (and I hate this term but can think of no better term), Joe manages the game pretty well and usually will do nothing to lose the game (the Steelers aside)but Joe has not proven he can win when the other phases are failing (with the exception of last a couple of games against the Steelers (last year and this year).

Next year, it would be nice to see (1) Joe have more flexibility and authority at the line and (2) honest, open competition at the QB position in training camp.

I don't see why anybody complains about Joe? No quarterback is good if you can not block up front and every time he has had trouble, it's because we don't give him any time at all. All the man does is win. We have beaten Cincy, Pitt. and Houston Twice each. What more does he have to do?

My reply to you Ken is even if you had those Quarterback they wouldn't do any better behind our line as Joe has, Come-man let be serious here Joe is in his 4th season, and better then most of the so called elite quarterback in their first 4 years, Joe best years are coming that for sure..

Ken j I would rather have flacco because he is not a big money qb. If we had a big name qb we probably would have to loose haloti ngata, or ray rice. Forget that.

Kyle Boller, Stony case, Testaverde, Jim Harbaugh, Eric Zeier, Anthony Wright, Scott Mitchell, Elvis Grbac, Tony Banks, Trent Dilfer.

Anyone want these guys back???
Joe is the best QB we've ever had and he is well on his way to the SB AND, he only makes the league minimum right now! Sounds like one of the best deals we've ever made IMHO!

Why do we give these so called experts any credence? Are these not the same experts that picked the Saints, the Packers and for the most part the Texans last week? We need to all get behind our team this week and seve nation army them all the way to Indy. Go Ravens.
