Kinda Glad We Are Away For The Championship Game

You know, I just checked out Sunday's Fan Cam and did notice something.
Almost every single fan is standing in the fifth level cheering and clapping as the players are running on the field. The fans on the lower levels are mostly standing too, but talking amongst themselves. Many are not even watching the field. Now the club level...it's a joke! Hardly anyone is standing. WTH?!
I am actually shocked more people in the suites are standing than those in club.

So I guess you are right, 5th level is where the fun is at. This is something I do truly need to think about before making such a huge investment.
The pictures were taken long before the team took the field. It was before the Presentation of Colors. People standing were probably just getting to their seats.

It was loud where I sit in the endzone. 'The regulars' in my section get tired of drunks trying to get everyone to stand and cheer on offense because he wants to be on tv. It never fails in these broker seats. Its hard to clap with gloves on,

No, if you look at the sky the fireworks just went off and the cheerleaders are in a row. This occurs right after they say, "Here are your Baltimore Ravens" and then they start playing 'Where the Streets Have No Name". I and the entire 5th level are standing because this is just what we do when the team takes the field. ;)

We are 9-0 at home and 4-4 on the road! rather it be at home, but I think we can handle the pats.

It wasn't just that, there was also this odd delay after the cheerleaders came out and the fireworks went off before the music started up and the player intros started. My seatmate and I also noticed the Texans kicker was still out there on the 50 yard line as this started up. I wonder if something was out of sync with getting the intros going this weekend.

No. You're wrong. I have video of the introductions followed by the national anthem and flyover. I was in my seats then. Im no where to be seen in the FanCam. My wife and myself had not made it to our seats yet. We remember the fireworks beginning though. That picture was taken seconds before we got to our seats.

The only other time they do the fireworks is during the "...and the rockets red glare.." which is after the intros.
But you can see the fog starting to come out of the tunnel already. So, this had to be during the introduction.

Quite odd....

Read my above post. I was without a doubt a witness to the intros. Im not in my seat in the FanCam photo. Hence, the photo was taken before the intros. ;)

This may shed light on the differing opinions in the timing of the shot.

If you go over further flag line is still performing and they are off the field when the cheerleaders are out.

Also all the paint is not on the field--just the sheild, When they first did this a couple years ago it was hilarous because there were half people on the field. They have gotten really good.

I wanted to be at home for the simple fact that it seems like the home team always get the benefit of a few crucial calls/non calls from the ref and seeing that we are playing against Mr. Get Help From The Ref himself, Tom Brady, that can be the difference. I just hope the refs call a fair game, that's all I want.

A guy in front of me literally told me I should quiet down when I was screaming when the defense was on the field. I wasn't yelling obsenities or anything like that, just the regular "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" as Houston went into the huddle. I couldn't believe it.

Been to countless games now, and at my first playoff game, the people are suggesting that the crowd quiets down while our defense is on the field?

I think there were numerous times where Houston just took the energy out of the crowd. The 59 yard return to start it off. The Houston defense constantly shutting down our offense etc. Towards the end, the crowd seemed to get into it a little more, when Houston had a chance to come back and beat us in the last few minutes.

The crowd is supposed to be quiet when our offense is on the field. I'm a bit confused by your statement.
And yeah, I know what you mean about energy out of the crowd. That kick off hurt badly!
And 3 and outs do tend to make me consume more beverages since I am not cheering!
