These teams met before in San Fran where Giants lost to the 49ers, but granted this is a different Giants team who is getting hot, yet at the same time the Giants are traveling on the road and will be playing the best defense left in NFC. Question is can Eli and the offense have success against the defense that exposed a high powered Saints offense?

I am sure everyone will be on Giants this week declaring them to win, which will probably ignite a fire for 49ers. I cant imagine the 49ers being at home and being the underdogs is not more motivation for them.

I think the niners defense can stop the Giants offense and the 49ers offense will expose the Giants defense. Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree, and Frank Gore will lead 49ers to the Superbowl.

And dot forget 49ers special teams, I think Ted Ginn is due to have 1 return for a TD.

The Giants' confident is all the rise right now; they are in the same situation of the Packers last year which hardly got into the playoffs. They are very dangerous right now.

I think the Giants will pull an upset again in 49ers stadium.....

I picked the Giants as my upset against the Packers and as much as I would love to see the Super Harbaugh Bowl, I have a feeling it's more than likely that we'll get a Super Bowl 35 rematch or a Super Bowl 42 rematch. As some said, it comes down to one thing, Eli Manning. If I had to pick a QB to trust in this game, it is Eli Manning. I'll trust Eli over Alex Smith any day of the week.

Giants 34
49ers 24

I think it all comes down to the 9ers pass rush vs Eli.

The Packers have one guy that's any where near capable of rushing the passer on their roster. Double/triple team Clay Matthews and the Packers aren't even going to get within touching distance of you're QB. The 9ers have a wealth of elite/borderline pass rushers that should cause a crappy New York offensive line fits.

Im taking the Giants. I'd love to see the Niners win and bring glory back to the Bay Area (went to college there), however when that Giants Dline gets rolling their entire team is just a different animal.

Going with the home team for this one. The Giants seem over-confident coming out of Green Bay. I see 21-17, edge: 49ers.

If we win, I want to see SF win, but if NE beats us, I want to see a 2007 SB re-match.
I sort of feel the opposite. If NE beats us, I damn sure better not see Eli vs. Brady again. But if we play SF in the SB, I feel like they would feel much more confident after watching the tape of the Thanksgiving game. I also feel like we would be under more pressure, and if we lost, the Thanksgiving game would go to waste and dare I say this, be tarnished. But that's just me.

Whats wrong with Brady vs. Eli? Should be an entertaining game.

I think we just do not match up well with NYG. I have no idea how our o-line would match-up against that d-line. The D's pretty much cancel each other out, but offensively, I'm take the Giants offense over ours with zero hesitation.

I think we match up perfectly with SF. Both of the defenses cancel each other out, but offensively, I think we'd have a considerable edge. Smith or that offense doesn't scare me one bit with our defense.

I see where you're coming from about our O line vs. their D front 4. But if we spread them out and got the quick passing game going(like against ARZ), we could take advantage of a bad secondary because they're pretty weak back there. A quick passing game is partially designed to wear out the D line.

And Brady vs. Eli again is just history repeating itself. Imo, it's becoming a broken record.

The Giants are on the road, against a loud crowd. Plus they are playing on a wet, muddy, soggy field which 49ers are accustomed too. I think Niners have advantage here. Plus it is at night, so the cold, most breeze that will come off the bay will make it pretty bad.

I think this game can go both ways. If we win tomorrow afternoon i wont care who wins this. We could beat them both. This game will come down to who makes turnovers.

I 'm in agreement with you. I would like to see a Harbaugh get there, and the Giants and the Patriots are geographically too close for my taste in a Super Bowl.

I'm hoping the 49ers win this. At least then there's a chance that someone can get the Pittsburgh fans to shutup about the 6 Super Bowls.

I'm pulling for whichever team is willing to sell their soul to break, batter and beat the Patriots.

I don't just want the Pats beaten, I want them BROKEN!

Then watch Jason Pierre-Paul (Giants #90). I want the 9ers to win, but I would love to see Goldilocks totally destroyed by that beast.

lol. What is up with the 9ers fans booing the Giants? Pretty low class. Even the nasty Pats fans didn't boo us when we made good plays.

Has it been agreed upon that we want the Giants to win so we have a better draft position? Because we will.
Well I don't know about a better draft position, we either can be 29 or 30 depending on the outcome. If 49ers win, that mean the Ravens pick 30th as the Giants would pick 29th. If Giants win, Ravens pick 29th and 49ers would be picking 30th.

Do Harbaugh coached teams really want it bad enough?
Monkey see.. Monkey do or in this case Brother See... Brother do.

When was the last time we had a Super Bowl rematch of two teams that met in the Super Bowl before?

Would that be 1996 between the Cowboys and the Steelers?

What do you expect after a game like today, then you see the 49ers doing stupid things as well?

You're right, it's just frustration.

I knew it was something to do with the Cowboys and Steelers but I didn't know the year.

Field Goal, all tied up.

Giants 17
49ers 17
