Harbowl In The Making?

27 posts in this topic

The Niners can take the Giants IMHO. We can take NE at home as proven before. How would you feel about a 49'ers Ravens Superbowl? We have the workings to make this happen now!! LETS GO RAVENS!!!! What's your opinion?

This is not a this week post. I was just putting into perspective what could happen superbowl sunday. Why is it we cant look to the future and guess what COULD happen. Im not saying it will just that it would be a possibility. Calm down its a forum.

What about a rematch of 2007 Giants-Pats?

Harbaugh bowl and that rematch have about the same chance. Some tough football yet to be played.

Yup its all up for grabs. Every team I thought was dangerous in the playoffs I feel is gone except for the Pats. Next week is our ticket and we will be on Brady like its the superbowl. RAVEN NATION

Anyone notice how disappointed these analysts sound? They were SO desperate for a Packers/Saints NFC title game. :D

We're looking at rematch city for the SB.

Patriots/Giants = Rematch of SBXLII
Ravens/Giants = Rematch of SBXXV
Ravens/49ers = Harbaugh Bowl Part II

Only Patriots/49ers isn't a rematch, but even that is Tom Brady vs. his childhood team.

Lots of intriguing storylines.

It could be a superbowl 35 rematch. (Ravens Giants)
Patriots Giants superbowl rematch.
SuperHarbowl. (Which would just be epic)
or Pats vs 49ers which I would really want to see in the regular season. Both have alot of titles.
I want the superharbowl.

What would scare me is the fact that we already beat them once and they would have a lot more mistakes and negative plays to learn from than us, but we beat the Bengals, Browns, Steelers and Texans twice each, so who knows?

My opinion - if Alex Smith plays like he did against the Saints, the 49ers will win the game. If the offensive line can protect Joe and the receivers can actually catch the passes thrown to them, we can win the game against the Patriots. It would be very interesting. But I'd feel the same way about the game if we had to face the Giants or the 49ers. If we get to the Superbowl, that's all that matters to me.

The Saints defense were horrible and couldn't even stop the run and Alex on the last drive. The Giants are different cuz they will bring whole lots of different pressure and they don't go for predictable all out blitz all the time like the Saints....

If we can make it past the Pats sure, but Id rather have a return of Ravens vs Giants that would be rare, but 49ers would be interesting as well. I think we will probably end up facing the 49ers. But think of the Giants, years later our 2nd superbowl and its vs the Giants again.

Let's get the cart back behind the horse, we have New England next week. That is our only focus right now and 9ers have to face the Giants.

I said going into the playoffs a 49ers vs Ravens superbowl was my dream scenario. I really thought that would involve us going through Steelers first (and maybe Cinci), but the chances of my dream are looking better.

Need to deal with Pats first though so I don't want to count on it.

But if it does happen, I'll really enjoy the pre-game warm up press. Brother vs. brother, rematch of Thanksgiving day, Ravens playing in Indy's house, etc.

I'm not as interested in a Giants vs. Ravens rematch. Lacks the excitement of a family feud. Pats vs either team will just be wall to wall Brady lovefest coverage. That becomes so nauseating I don't even want to watch the game.

Even Mike Singletary said Alex Smith was timid. The Giants pass rush vs Smith favors the Giants. I know the Niners tackel Anthony Davis well since he was a first rounder out of Rutgers. He's still only 21-22 and just starting to play more solid. Giants will be a problem for him. Drew Brees would have been worse for the Giants (who almost beat San Fran when Giants were still sketchy). After the Packers I think its downhill for the Giants.

Even though I never like to overlook an opponent, I'd like to pre-emptively trademark the phrase "Harbowl Pt. II: SUPER Harbowl, Electric Boogaloo!" for future use, whenever it ends up happening next!
