That is a much bigger spread than I expected.

The Ravens need to run the ball and control the clock next week against the Patriot's defense. The last thing the Ravens need is to have Cam try to get cute. Let's keep Brady off the field.
agreed, lets run the ball more with Rice, and lets use Boldin more in the middle and Evans and Torrey should go streak, not Boldin....

This week is gonna be a lot more fun than last week. Plus being the underdog means we'll just be ignored after winning rather than criticized after winning.

First of all, congrats on your win against the texans. I've read what all of you ravens fans have said and now let me explain why this will be a much different game than what you all believe.

Reason 1:
Patriots have a high powered offense. I would love to see the ravens secondary cover welker, branch, Gronkowski, and Hernandez. Patriots also shut down Miller and Dumervill who are great pass rushers.

Reason 2:
The Patriots have a better O-line than the Texans. The Texans didnt allow a sack on Yates. Suggs has only 1 sack in 4 games.

Reason 3:
The Patriots stopped the #1 ranked rushing offense in the leaugue so I am confident we will stop Ray Rice, Ricky Williams.

Reason 4:
You are coming to OUR HOUSE and there wont be a repeat of the playoff game 2 years ago!!

Reason 5:
Patriots have the most takeaways in the league with +17, and we are ranked 31st in the league for giving up YARDS. Do you look at yards on the score board? Patriots are middle of the pack for giving up points.

Reason 6:
We have Chung and Spikes back. We held the Broncos to only 10 points, shut down their rush offense and a patriots pass rush is starting to emerge.

Reason 7:
Can the Ravens score more than 30 points?

FINALLY

Reason 8:
REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD.

Patriots will win 38-17
as soon as the Ravens win a game...why do you fans of our next opponents rush right over to our forums and start posting this trash?

1st the steelers fans..they fell
2nd the 49ers fans....they fell
3rd the bengals fans...they fell
4th the texans fans...they fell

and now...here comes the patriots fans. ummm...you know what comes next!

lol you know Suggs loves Brady to death and he won't let him standing in the pocket by himself; he will join next to him in assisting him handing the ball to the Purples....

1. LAST ranked defense
2. Brady is scared as hell of Suggs
3. Rice will repeat what he did in 2009
4. Joe has grown and matured
5. LAST ranked defense

You forgot to mention that the Bengals, Steelers, and Texans all did it twice. First it's "Oh you won't beat us", then it's "Oh you got lucky last time, it was your Superbowl", etc.

Here is my plan to win the football next Sunday:

It's simple but easy said than done; however, our guys will execute it.

Lets stop short passes from Brady to TEs and Welkers, then we will win the game like the Steelers did to the Pats.....

The Giants just went on the road and held a great QB and his high-flying offense to 20 points.

It can be done, and I like the way we match up against the Patriots.

High Powered Offense means nothing. If you don't believe me see the Saints game and Packers game. Both had high power offenses, everyone speculated how teams would stop them and called them the most dangerous, yet when Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers saw a real defense they crumbled faster than anyone could have imagined. Let's see how that high powered offense works against a good defense, so far it hasn't worked.

You do realize that when we beat you in 2009 that:

1) Your defense was better
2) our quarterback was not only younger, he was too hurt to do much more than hand the ball off
3) we were still being coached on defense by Greg Mattison, and Pags is much better at scheming than he was
4) Our wide receivers were Derrick Mason, Mark Clayton, Kelley Washington, and Demetrius Williams
5) We had average corners

Now

1) Your defense is dead last in the NFL
2) Our quarterback is healthy and much better than he was then
3) Pags has the defense looking like it used to
4) Our starters are Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith, and Lee Evans
5) Our corners are statistically up there with the best in the league

You're right, 2011 is not 2009, so don't expect the same result.

Yeah I know .I guess it's going to be tough next year, because both of won our divisions so we play each other next season. I think that one might get a primetime slot. Anyway, good luck. I'll be rooting for yall to beat the Pats and to go all the way. That way we can say we gave the SB champs a run for their money. Thanks man goodluck in the draft and hopefully we all wont be seeing the colts contending for awhile. One thing is for sure though and that is that texans and ravens are both gonna be competing for awhile and I think a little rivalry could start up

It's a denying fact for somes but it's so true; Offense win games but defense win championship; Giants and 49ers just show....

Now, it's our time to showcase our defense next Sunday......

With the way we played today, I'm very confident in our ability to win next week for one reason: we will be the UNDERDOG... A role that this team plays relentlessly as..... Vegas will favor the patriots and many analysts will and yes it will fire up this team because this is a team that feeds off of that and when we are favored we play down to competition.......

NE defense is bound to surrender a few deep balls to T.Smith.

We've nicknamed #81 Anquan Boldin as Golden Boldin or Rumpelstiltskin! He turns Flaccos throws into gold! These games watching Flacco scramble and repeat the handoff is getting old. First he was premature getting rid of the ball and then he holds it too long. If it wasn't for Rice, Boldin or Reed...these would be boring games. Evans catch was a pleasant surprise today! Need to see more screens!

Congratulations to Big Ray on coming to the game to play. Great Job Ray.

Congratulations to Billy Cundiff, Good Job today Bill.

Congratulations to Antwon Bollen. Great job.

The rest of you better think twice if you think you are going to foxboro with the game you played today.

PATHETIC.
What about Ed Reed? And Webb? I think you forgot a few people. Reed was MVP as far as I am concerned. He was everywhere, deflecting passes, intercepting, tackling, rushing.

I have to say, huge congratulations to Todd Brody. He played a great game yesterday, throwing for 6 touchdown passes.

I hope Ed Reed isn't to banged up and he plays. I also hope we can pressure Brady and force him to get the ball out quick. I know we stunk at getting to Yates, and the Pats have a decent Oline... I have my fingers crossed, it will be a tough game and I will be pulling for the victory, but I feel I can't say for sure we will win this one.

Reed wasn't the mvp, Webby was. Also, did this guy you quoted just say Antwon Bollen? lol

Also whats up with Reed, everytime he dropped a pick he would kind of milk his injury (even causing us a timeout) but when he makes the one armed pick and lands on his butt, he gets up fine. I've seen it all year. It's very annoying, if you are hurt jog off the field, dont cause your team a time out.

EDIT: Im a huge Ed Reed fan by the way, he is my favorite player, just don't understand why he seems to "milk" the injuries

Definitely no "milking" there. The dude is laying it on the line every game and every play and is playing hurt. No "milking"! None!

Brady plays in the AFC though, so he's used to good defenses. But they're far from invincible.

The fact that some of their fans think they'll crush us because Houston kept it close is hilarious. Because the Patriots D is obviously as good as Houston's D. Cool.

Lol. They're spoiled fans! I cant stand them. Atleast the Orioles last year ruined the Redsox season. Something I'll never forget!
