look yall are hard. the defense is having a bad game but they can't be great every week.. yall just expect them to because the offense sucks.. the have proving to be great week after week and they have a bad game and yall turn on them.. but make excuse for flacco.. it's amazing.. how can the defense play good when they can't get a rest. the offense sucks on staying on the field
For the millionth time, there is nothing overrated or wrong with our D but after of numerous 3 and outs by the O, numerous turnovers by the O, great field position by our opponents b/c of the O, your D can only be so effective, especially against a QB like Manning.

Everyone saying how the Colts O has sucked and how we should easily shut them down, thats BS b/c I knew it was only a matter of time before Manning and the Colts O get back on rythym. This team still has the best O in the league in my eyes so this comes as no surprise.

Also, Corey Ivy and Frank Walker are straight up bums!Even last year, every time I looked up Ivy was on someones highlight reel!
I wish we had a defense that would allow me to think we can stop the Colts to even think about giving our offense as chance for the comeback.
umm our D was #1 coming into this game... yet flacco managed to SUCK during those games also.... our D will have a bad game from time to time....our QB has yet to have a single GOOD game... relax on the D yes they suck today but they dominated every other game and got two losses for it
This is just me, but I think it's our players. We don't have a deep threat, Heap is playing soft, and our running game isn't really getting us anywhere. I really don't like that we are a running team. I mean our backs are ok, but come on. We've been like that for a while now and nowadays in the NFL you have to have a good running game and passing game in order to make it to the playoffs, win games and etc.
I'm tired of being a running team also but when you can't pass the ball you have no choice. For the people complaining about the running game you can't run every week and expect success. Teams know we can't pass the ball. It's hard to do well playing one dimensional every week. That is pathetic and disgusting.

This is a what have you done for me lately kind of league and what has this defense done for us lately? Allowed Kerry Collins to drive the field late twice last week and allowed the Colts to put up 31 points. So forgive me, if I am not patting them on the back for a job well done.

Pretty nice drive for a rookie QB, using a rookie RB, a very young O-line. This little bit of success will help them in the future.

I agree 100%. Sit Flacco and let him learn from the sidelines rather than to learn by sacrifice of losing games. Put Troy in there 100% or not b/c its not like Troy lost his starting job due to his play!

To me by keeping Flacco in there, its like you are telling your great defense that you are sacrificing a season b/c of one player!

Losing this game this way just makes me even more upset about the way we lost the last 2 games. We really needed those wins.

see. everyone was so happy cause flacco faced two bum teams at first.. now he is facing good teams and he is proving that he is not ready.. like i stated before he decision making sucks. he's not mobile and he under throw the ball to much.. where is this strong arm???? now yall have no more excuses so yall blame the defense. wow..

what happens if troy blows too though? do you bench him for Flacco then? we need STABILITY...as hard as this is, its what we have to do. There is no QB platoon system.

I agree, I think there were too much expectations of Flacco. I understand this is only his fifth game under fire but its possible that he may not turn out like we think he should!

this is what i have been saying and this board get's mad.. it's not that i am bias for smith but it's smart.. if flacco is the future the what difference does it makes.. they don't plan on having smith in the long run anyway. people say that look at manning. how he played from the start. and tray aikman.. well flacco isn't close to being them.. let's be serious.
