Deadspin actually did a very good article on the 'Seven Nation Army' song we Ravens fans have come to adopt. Its an interesting read. Plus they touched on the Ravens.

Even though I love hearing it during a Ravens game and the players have said it pumps them up during a game. It's been a chant in soccer games for YEARS!

I remember this, I said to go with the trooper by Maiden. I'm glad seven nation army made it over the overplayed enter sandman

I"m with you. Part of me absolutely loves the introduction of the song in our stadium and the tradition it has created. Another part still wishes we had something original that got us pumped. And not from the marching band.

Yeah, I remember the PSU stadium rocking to this song around 7 years ago against OSU.
It's hardly original to the Ravens. PSU fans have been doing this for years.
