New Uniforms From Nike?

And for those in denial, Ravens are indeed a deep hue of purple. Nowhere near the ugly purple the Vikes use.

I love our jerseys and team colors. They're uniquely Baltimore with the ties to Edgar Allen Poe. I for one hope Nike keeps the Ravens crest that's on the shoulders. I really like that detail.

It honestly doesn't matter to me. Some of the stuff made in college by Nike looks good so far, but then other ones suck. I know it will different in the NFL, but i dont think there will be much of a change. I love the Purple jersey's with black pants as well.

What if a drastic change was made? I love the Maryland Football color scheme, Picture that with our current uniform design and logos, would look just MINT. Isnt that in fact Baltimore`s colors?

Purple and black are fine. I wouldn't mind seeing flashes of white, or a bit of gold (it actually is one of our colors), but like others said before, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

That is a really cool Idea, having RED EYES in the front of the Jersey, that would be sick. It would have to be done right though.

Are we forgetting the Atlanta Falcons, a black and red uniform and also a "bird." A Raven does have that purple sheen. Theo only other team in the NFL with the purple is the Vikings and it my be a hair lighter than ours and they accent it with yellow (not a color I would want on our uniform).

I hope our new uniform does not change with Nike. I have grown fond of it as it is now.

Yea , i know. Kinda pissed me off when we only wore them once this yr. We usually do it alteast twice. I dont know if we would be able to wear them in the AFC Champ. but if we are , us fans have got to say something. We FANS pay their bills, they should atleast give us something that we want, it really isnt asking for much now is it. All we want is a Win and to look good doing it (black unis)

Personally I hate the purple on black look and I'm none to fond of the white on black look.

If I ran the team it would go back to purple and white and white on white. Personally I loved the white on white look, so clean and we just looked huge in all white.

I hate the white on white, it's probably one of the uniforms I like least in the NFL. I like any of the combo's with the black pants, and am cool with the purple or black w/ white pants, and black on black is the best.

I think my favorite looking uniforms in the NFL are the Ravens black on black and the Saints black on black. Watching highlights from the Jets game the Ravens just look so powerful and villainous with the all black

I don't know if certain people are assigned to certain teams for uniform designs, but if it is that way then the people who do Oregon's uniforms would be the best to find[color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] material that's black and also has a purple shimmer. They're good at using reflective material.[/font][/color]

Maybe the Ravens and NIKE could use the TCU Horned Frogs (best name in sports) Purple and Black for inspiration. I like the idea of brining some black into the purple jerseys

These were fake. Besides, the raven is pointed the wrong direction on the helment. I don't like them. They look too much like college unis.

These pictures look photoshopped. I don't think we will go with silver or grey helmets. Everyone loves the current design. I don't like the multicolored look on the jersey. Also, the pants resemble those of the Lions' throwbacks. We need to look tough not like a prep school team.

I don't think that can be allowed. Reebok made the current jerseys. Nike cannot take their jerseys and put a swoosh on them. Patents and design rights. Reebok isn't going to give that up. Nike can make an almost perfect clone with something added. Lawsuits get filed if Nike changes nothing. I'm sure its already been figured out. Let's just wait and see

Maybe I am wrong but I thought the teams owned the rights to the logo and jersey designs ?? The Cowboys/Packers/Colts have looked the same for what seems like 30 years.

But Nike will likely not pass up a chance to suggest some changes to entice people to buy new jerserys maybe new alternates for each team
