New Uniforms From Nike?

This isnt anything to do with BLACK UNIFORMS (PURPLE NURPLE), i want to talk about possible different colors.

I was looking at how other teams have drastically changed their uniforms over the yrs.


Examples

Tampa Bay = those ugly Orangesicle uniforms
Chargers = The Baby Blues to the Dark navy blues

Anyways

I could see the RAVENS using a RED accent color, like when our Raven used to have red eyes.

My own idea would be Black with Red Accent or even RED with Black Accent.

Anyone else have any ideas for a possible new colored uniform????

Keep the purple jersey, use minor dashes of red while keeping the white as an accent color. Change the normal pants to black, while breaking out the clean white pants for special games.

I don't want a black jersey as the primary jersey; everyone in the league has a black jersey. I don't want to be generic, even if ours looks better than others.

I love our uniforms, especially the purple on black. One thing I would like to see, however, is the golden "B" on the Raven logo alone on a black helmet. I think that would be awesome

What do you have against purple? Red? That is the Cards color. If it aint broke don't fix it.

I dont really have anything against Purple, i just wonder how they came up with that color When a RAVEN is Black. I know every team has their Black Uniform but if anything it fits the RAVENS more.

But anyways, i cant get the Picture out of my head with A Black and Red uniform, it would be HOT.

That what i have heard is the only thing that is changing but i hear other things too. So i dont know.

Sometimes i think teams change to keep us buying new gear...it is getting costly!!

I always wonder where they get the team colors from, but I am certain it has nothing to do with the team logo. I personally have never seen a teal jaguar, or a blue ram. So we can assume that the purple has nothing to do with a raven.

Your Right, i do want to know how they came up with the Color. It wasnt to be different because the Vikings have purple.

We've discussed this before. A raven in the right light is, indeed, purple. It's our color. Deal.

Same, the white on white was so bland. Not to be a "fashionista", but I'm glad they're gone - I believe we haven't worn them in the Harbaugh era... maybe once.

I believe they are only put on for at home games during the preseason when its the hottest.

I wouldn't mind seeing the B somewhere on the front or back of the helmet, but I want the Raven profile logo kept on the side of our helmets. I love that look.

I think some guy sued them for using it because he owned the right to it. I kinda miss it though.

the only 2 things that will change is that the reebok logo on all nfl jerseys will be replaced by a Nike logo and it will be more expensive!

The 'flying toaster ' can not be used. My original jersey from 1999 is a Nike and the purple is more concord grape color then the ones now.

Agreed. I like our helmets, jerseys, etc.
Purple is the Ravens' color...change it?!
And you better believe that Nike swoosh instantly adds 10% to the price of every and any item.

Yes, I have original Ravens apparel too. It was a bit ugly, including the helmet, to say the least.

At least keep the jersey's colors and have the ravens face on the jersey or some how and have the red eyes on the front of the jersey that would be great.

We wore white on white for second Steelers game in Pitt and white on white vs Chargers. They are still in use.
