[Blogs] Happy For Texans, But Ready To Knock Them Out

44 posts in this topic

Pollard might be the unsung hero of the defense this year. A case could be made for JJ or Redding, but Pollard has been a tackling machine. I think he'll be here longer than his 2 year contract. He's so intense. He hasn't been around Baltimore too long, but he's one of those guys that you want standing in the middle of the huddle to get the team pumped.

I thank the General management of the Ravens that Vonta Leach and Bernard Pollard are now Ravens. The Texans can't be a better team without them. But with them here now the Ravens certainly ARE.

These two players will be a catalyst that helps lead the Ravens on to the Championship. I don't see any remaining team stopping the Ravens offense. That will keep our defense fresh to be at their best. The perfect combination.

I can't wait to hear the pads pop! You know Vonta is going to pancake somebody and Ray will be flexing his muscles in the end zone!

This is similar to picking up Rod Woodson and Sam Adams but in the same year. We got Sam a couple of years after we got Rod. Two players that make the difference.

Rubbish Briana4...In the two seasons combined that Pollard played for Houston as SS he made more tackles than anyone. He led the Texans in tackles with 81 in 2010. How could you say with any credibility what Briana4HouTexans just posted? You can't...and I have seen no evidence to prove otherwise. When Houston lost Pollard it hurt them...

These two guys, I'll say again, are two outstanding captures for the Ravens! While I was a LeRon fan in recent years I believe Vonte Leach brings the proper AFC-North attitude we lacked in McLain!

Now Bernard Pollard is definitely AFC-North caliber at Safety! He likes to inflict pain, something that Dewan Landry often shied away from!

With what's on the line today I full expect both of these pros to play "lights out" Sunday, not only to move forward but also a little "How ya like me now?"

I'm with you Mystigo!
Leach is the reason Ray has so many yards this year. Smart, smart move.

Our Ravens D is top 5 in all categories.
AND, we are the most, well rounded team in Football right now.

However, the Texans are no slouches either!
We need to contain Cushing. I haven't heard his name come up to much this week but I can almost bet we'll hear his name Sunday. That man plays like a Raven, reminiscent of Mike McCrary!

If it were me, I'd be courting this guy with money, fame, (my oldest daughter), just to get him to play for us! I might actually have a little "man crush".
I know the Ravens don't need me to point this out but I figured it couldn't hurt either.
I think we'll see a tight game Sunday but we'll come out on top and light them up in the 2nd half. I am as excited as a 6 yr old on Christmas morning!
LET'S GO RAVENS!!!!
