I think that "Wizard" is probably trolling for attention. If he is for real, however, I don't feel anger towards his comments, I pity him. If you are a fan and can't be optimistic and happy at this time, right before a home playoff game, that is a sad statement. I feel sorry for those who go through life so negative.

So, no matter what happens tomorrow (and I think we are going to win), I am so proud of my team and my quarterback. Let's not forget that they win and lose as a team. I wouldn't want to be a fan of any other team right now. GO RAVENS!!!

you said it just right..
Some people can't handle success, others aren't capable of appreciating what they have and think the grass is always greener on the other side..

Well bad news for the debbie downers. In a few weeks, 30 other teams are going to be very envious of us.

I agree. It's sad that he would rather have Ed Reed retire without a ring than have him win one with Joe Flacco as his quarterback.

I'm not hoping he fails-I know from a historical perspective he will fail. Listen Joe Flacco ended up at Deleware because he had to ride the bench behind Tyler Palko. He has been solely responsible for some of the most hilarious plays in NFL history. I'm not betting against my team but rather than admit I'm right about Flacco you guys stand behind a QB who will never go to a Superbowl-EVER. That the peoples choice and everyone has a right as a fan and supporter of the Baltimore Ravens to express their choice. This is why we don't get the press like other teams. We have a quarterback who is capable of being Johnny Untitas on one play and Jerry Lewis on another. Ever seen Tom Brady complete a pass to himself behind the line of scrimmage and then run backwards for a 15 yards loss? Ever seen Drew Brees fumble the ball 12 rimes in a season or see Arron Rodgers have a 50% completion percentage for a whole year? Of course not. How about have you seen Flacco approach 41 Tds in a year like Matthew Stafford did in his 3rd. How about throw for 5000 yards or even 4000? Joe has a great supporting cast but even Dan Marino, Brian Sipe, Joe Ferguson, Jim Kelly, Warren Moon,, Randall Cunningham and dozens of other quarterbacks who were more talented tha Joe Flacco could never win a superbowl and in most cases never really came close.Yes I love my Baltimore Ravens but with Joe Flacco we might be on the race track but the last time I saw him he did not look like Secretariat.

Are...are you serious? Is this a joke? That's absolutely the most ridiculous statement I have ever read or heard about Joe Flacco in the past 4 years! Bar none. Simply astounding.

I'm trying to put together a nice graphic for everyone to look at, comparing Joe Flacco to the likes of Brady, the Mannings, Brees, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Ryan and Romo (there are a lot of quarterbacks whose last name starts with "R".)

Anywho, the question I am asking myself is: do I want to compare the first four seasons of their careers? In which case, Brady only competed 1-of-3 for the entire 2000 season.

Or, should I go by the first four seasons they started 10+ games? The problem there is, Brees only had one complete 16-game season his first four 10+ games-started seasons.

Or, should I go by their first four full 16-game seasons? The problem there, again, a lot of years are being skipped.

What do you think?

I'm doing this to help settle the Flacco debates.

The most hilarious plays in the history of the NFL? I can only think of one...

That TD toss to Torrey with :08 left. The look on the Squeelers' faces, player and fan alike? HILARIOUS.

There are only 4 QBs that our Better than Flacco imo. But honestly i wouldnt want any of them playing for us. I would pick Flacco over Manning,Brees,Brady and Rogers. No B.S, i really would. Only thing i would change is the OC.

And i dont think i would have said that last season but to me Flacco has Drastically improved this yr.

What? And this was posted yesterday i would have thought you were drinking the kool aid at the beginning of the season like most, but yesterday...........WOW.

I'd go with the first four seasons they started 10+ games. Injuries are a part of football and if Brees missed time, so be it. That Joe hasn't missed a game during his career speaks to his toughness.

The picture capturing stunned Steelers fans after Housh's TD last year was pretty funny too.

Brady go 01-04. Brees go years 2-5 in San Diego. Brees started 16 games twice, I don't get where you're saying he didn't start 16 games. 2002 - 16, 03 - 11, 04 - 15, 05 -16. That's over fifty starts, plenty of data. Besides, one big point of contention around here is that Brees wasn't great until after he had Sean Peyton, while Joe is right now stuck with Cam Cameron. So it would be unfair to use any New Orleans stats when comparing the two. Ryan first 4 years, since he came into the league with Flacco. Roethlisberger year 3-6, because he threw the ball less than 20 times a game his first 2 seasons - unfair to compare stats. When the guy isn't throwing, there are less good stats and less bad ones. Eli, use years 2-5, he only started seven games in his rookie season. Peyton started every game his first four years, use them. Rivers years 3-6, he sat on the bench for two seasons. Romo 2006-2009.

Yeah, maybe in 3-4 years I'd agree with Perk. 29 year old Flacco over 40 year old Peyton, definitely. But if the Colts called in a month and wanted to trade Peyton straight up for Flacco, or even Flacco and a pick, as long as Peyton was healthy that's a no brainer.

Im not Joking man, i think Flacco is the best qb for this team. Not saying he is elite but what he does with what we have, i think he is pretty dam good.

You dont see any other WRers dropping gimmes so much on the other HIGH POWERED OFFENSES. Thats why his Completion percentage is down. I dont think he has regressed at all. I said it before and ill say it again. He has drastically improved from week 1, i wouldnt have made that statement in the beginning of the season.

Okay, so based on the categories I thought were more relevant than all others: Games Started, Win %, Comp %, Avg Season Yds, Avg Season TDs, Avg Season INTs, Avg Game-Winning Drives per Season...

I ranked those, 1 thru 10; took the average ranking and then ranked that 1 thru 10. Here are the final results:

Again, these stats are coming from their first four seasons with 10+ starts. And with that, let the arguing commence. Let me finish by saying, as many others have, Flacco fits the Ravens system and does EVERYTHING that is asked of him. We are a run first team, our receivers are not always dependable when it comes to getting separation or pulling in catches. But as my signature says, He's My Quarterback.
