I don't know if you saw the Lions-Saints game, but the entire time I kept thinking that Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson made some absolutely ridiculous catches that bailed Stafford out. He threw to Johnson 3-4 times in double or triple coverage and Johnson made the play every time. And Burleson had an absolutely ridiculous back shoulder catch where I don't even think he was looking at the ball when he caught it. I've never seen any of our receivers do that for Joe.
Oh absolutely! I would add Stafford to my list of beneficiaries as well haha.

One thing I've noticed about our offense is that we VERY RARELY have receivers wide open. And by wide open, I mean they took advantage of blown coverage and are streaking down the field uncovered. It happens around the league fairly often, but personally, I cant remember one since D. Will against the raiders.

I watched the NFL Replay of the Ravens/Texans game which confirmed my reasons for the "Joe Must Go" mantra. Aside the two bombs he threw in that game,( one of which was actually dropped by Torrey Smith and never challenged) he was stellar in his inaccuracy and was a sitting duck in the pocket. It would be embarrassing to watch a shootout between Flacco and Brady or Brees or Rodgers who are all accuarate, mobile and rarely fumble or throw ints.I think the Charger game proved beyond a shadow of a doubt we will never get to a SB with him at QB. The Texans have a good enough defense to really get to Joe and that is just one of his achilles heels. I look for a hard fought defensive game this Sunday with Andre Johnson unfortunately using his abilities to make the difference in this game. With a sad heart I see the game going to the Texans due to 3 Flacco turnovers 21-17. But we will be back next year without Joe Flacco!

That's because you were like 2 when Jordan played. In his early years, before he won, he was one of the most criticized players in the league, not just by the media but by star players. Isiah Thomas, Bill Laimbeer, and even Dennis Rodman all said Jordan was way overhyped. For someone who claims to know so much (I still can't believe you brought up Steve DeBerg in a conversation and tried to make it mean something), it's clear you have more to learn.
HaHa Bill Lambeer and Dennis Rodman in what world were they ever stars. and in all the years Setve Deberg played in the NFL and I believe it was 18 he had a total of 12 fumbles Flacco has that many this year alone. Yes I would say ( considering the offensive lines he played behind) Deberg was a better QB than Joe Flacco

Betting against the team you claim to support before their first home playoff game in 5 years? When they may have the best chance to reach the Superbowl since they did it in 2000? Are you serious? Wow, man, I just, just don't know what to say. I'm sorry you feel that way.

Deberg had 83 fumbles. 12? He had 15 in 1984 alone. You really don't watch football, do you? Dennis Rodman was not a star? Wow, dude, wow. One of the best defensive players in NBA history not a star.

Seriously, read his post where Lambeer and Rodman were never stars in the NBA. I'm beginning to think Wizard1 is not real - just a computer programmed by a Steelers fan to spew hate and say ridiculous things.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha....you pulled this up - http://www.nfl.com/player/stevedeberg/2500356/profile - and then went off the total since it only accounted for 5 years of his playing career and didn't tally the others. You are HILARIOUS!!!!!

Amazing Wizard. Really??? You still aren't even going to attempt to support the guy for our huge home game? Your hate has really blinded you from the real picture.

I think you would prefer to see him fail then the Ravens to win.

I don't have to think. I know. He wanted the Steelers to win both times we played them, made a bet on the second game, in fact.

People are mad because he isn't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but he is a good QB in his own right. Joe Flacco isn't the only reason why we suffer the occasional loss, we can't win them all. I like him, and he has gotten better thru the years, I believe Joe Flacco can win a superbowl with the right pieces set in place to help him along.

I'm sick of it as all of us are, and I listened and viewed the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back yesterday afternoon. I had TebowCenter on yesterday, wasn't really watching, but noticed an upcoming sidebar: FLACCO COMPLAINS. I had already watched the post practice presser from the day before where I heard nothing I construed a complaining, just what we all heard: "If we were to win the Super Bowl, I'm sure I'd have nothing to do with it according to you guys" drawing laughter from the reporters and a smirk of humor from Flacco. Joe simply answered questions posed to him, its sad when the media doesn't even realize that players have obligations to answer their dumb questions. So what did ESPN discuss? The exact same thing and then brought Herm Edwards on to literally say "wah wah wah, Joe Flacco has to stop complaining." At that moment I decided I was officially done with the ESPN Spin it however the producers want network. Good riddance, I'll mail some fresh crow from Bristol TN to Bristol CT Sunday afternoon for them...

Wiz wants flacco to fail miserably even if it means no superbowl just to see him go smh...im actually kinda feeling sorry for wiz
I'm not hoping he fails-I know from a historical perspective he will fail. Listen Joe Flacco ended up at Deleware because he had to ride the bench behind Tyler Palko. He has been solely responsible for some of the most hilarious plays in NFL history. I'm not betting against my team but rather than admit I'm right about Flacco you guys stand behind a QB who will never go to a Superbowl-EVER. That the peoples choice and everyone has a right as a fan and supporter of the Baltimore Ravens to express their choice. This is why we don't get the press like other teams. We have a quarterback who is capable of being Johnny Untitas on one play and Jerry Lewis on another. Ever seen Tom Brady complete a pass to himself behind the line of scrimmage and then run backwards for a 15 yards loss? Ever seen Drew Brees fumble the ball 12 rimes in a season or see Arron Rodgers have a 50% completion percentage for a whole year? Of course not. How about have you seen Flacco approach 41 Tds in a year like Matthew Stafford did in his 3rd. How about throw for 5000 yards or even 4000? Joe has a great supporting cast but even Dan Marino, Brian Sipe, Joe Ferguson, Jim Kelly, Warren Moon,, Randall Cunningham and dozens of other quarterbacks who were more talented tha Joe Flacco could never win a superbowl and in most cases never really came close.Yes I love my Baltimore Ravens but with Joe Flacco we might be on the race track but the last time I saw him he did not look like Secretariat.

Wizard1 has always been a troll about Flacco. Nowhere to be found when he does well, but I can practically feel your excitement when he does terribly.

I'm not a huge Flacco cheerleader but the bashing this week has been sickening.

Unfortunately we all have to see him fail enough before we say thats it. We have to draw a line in the sand somewhere and anything less than a Superbowl VICTORY this year is simply unacceptable and does anyone really believe Joe Flacco is a superbowl quality QB? Come on MAN!!!

But from a Historic perspective..............BWHAHAHAA

But.But.But my [profanity deleted]. We are playing a football game this Sunday. Joe is our QB in that game. The rest of Ravens nation will do their part to fire him up. There is no talk about failing in my vocabulary right now. One team, one fanbase, one goal.

Either get on, or just get the hell off. (I could pull a Kool-Aid man and break through a brick wall right now).

If Flacco leaves and this team once again becomes the up and down team it was before he got here, I might just laugh in his honor, he'd deserve it.

but we're a run first team with a pass rush/run stop defense. To me Rice Ray is one of the best running backs in the NFL. Yes I know Drew is very good, but the Saints D isn't as good and last year we beat the Saints 30-24, so we can still win with a decent QB like Flacco.

I personally would rather see the Ravens team like the 2000 team. A defense that crushes the souls of offenses and dominates quarterbacks and halfbacks. Joe is better than Trent and if our D can stay healthy and get a little more depth we won't need Peyton Manning behind center.

I agree-say what you want about Trent Dilfer but at the very least-he got us there and won it-I just don't see it happening with Flacco. In 2000 somehow I knew we were going to win it all we had to with that defense- today I cringe everytime Flacco drops back because he has proven to be unreliable. He just doesn't have the tools in other words he a few fries short of a happy meal. and right now I need the full meal deal!

Awesome. We play our best when nobody talks about us. More importantly, every time people write Joe off, he dominates (i.e. Pittsburgh week 1). It's after they crown him that he does poorly.
