A few things:

#1.) Webb has just earned his way into my wardrobe. I've been debating the past couple of years, but with the revolving door of DBs, didn't want to spend the money and he get traded. Doesn't matter. After today, I feel very confident that when Reed retires, Webb will fill those big shoes with ease.

#2.) I really feel our Defense carried this victory, alongside the Special Teams. So, congrats to Pagano and Rosburg. However, I'm not impressed with the Offense. The O-Line wasn't protecting. Flacco didn't have time to settle. The RBs struggled because the O-Line didn't get a good push. The Receivers couldn't get any separation or haul in passes. All-in-all, great day defensively for the Houston Texans. So, I applaud Wade Phillips.

#3.) Lastly, we have got to play better in Foxborough next week. Now that we have the rust from the bye-week off, we cannot go out flat.

GO RAVENS!!! AND GREAT JOB FLACCO!!! You made the best out of the O-Line's lemons.

Our offensive problems all boil down to the OL.
Interesting. Flacco was like Tebow+ today if you don't factor in the 6-7 drops. Wonder what Skip will have to say about this one?
good call

No more of this crap about Joe Flacco is a game manager. I doubt Tom Brady could have done better with the o-line protection Joe got today. Man, we saw what Brady did against us when we pressured him 2 years ago.

Pathetic performance by Cam, Joe and Rice and Co. This might cut it for a Home Game against a third string quarterback. Joe you said it best this week,
"You had nothing to do with our win today!"

My locker room speech. Cam did us no favors and he will be gone after the season and will not be flying with the team until he understands this is the NFL not High School football and at anytime if you feel the need to rip his headset off and take control the offense feel free thats how we win football games.

Thank God for Ed, Ray (shutdown LB) and Webbie (officially a shutdown corner now) because that was apparently all the defense we needed. Offensively this was the most horrendous, piss poor, unfocused performance I've ever seen from a playoff winning team. I'm aware Flacco threw 2 TDs which is good and all but that was really the only offense we had all game and our O-line's inability to block for long times really messed up his game, though to be fair we are talking a top 3 defense. Regardless our play calling on offense should not be so bad that it reminds me of the Jags game earlier this year.

If our offense plays like that a week from now, the Pats will kill us just like they did Tebow.

NOW....It gets easier for our offense and tougher for our defense. Big DEFENSE...Shut out the Texans in the second half..WOW..New England will not blanket our receivers as the Texans did. Thank JOE for not forcing the ball. He played SMART. TEAM VICTORY.

Even 'Mundo? I think that offensive line should be, to be honest
With 2.9 yards per carry, I think he has to go under the bus too. If he'd gotten into the endonze on one of those 4 tries, it might have have been a different story. (Okay, maybe Rice didn't carry the ball on all the tries, but you know what I mean.)

I know a win is a win, just very dissapointed with the play.
Well who isn't? We're all wishing the Ravens would have executed better..but it doesn't make it any less of a hard fought win.

I don't know about you but for me I think I'm just in shock as to how good that Texans D is and how well they played today. Mundo's average is surely a product of the OL, they were getting no push off the LOS. He ran as hard as he could and it was encouraging to see him finish the runs well

Give it a few days to sink in, that we're in the AFCCG. Then everyone will appreciate how great it is

Credit needs to be given to the Texans, they came to play today and it showed, even though Yates threw 3 picks, but AJ was back there so I knew he'd get the ball a few times.

But seriously, someone needs to pitch in and buy Ray, Ed Reed and Webbie drinks for the night.

The Texans certainly had a great defensive turnaround from last year, but the Ravens offense is well... the Ravens offense. If the Texans had won this game and then played like that against the Patriots then I would be shocked.

So if we are upset because our team played garbage, were not loyal? Lol, Cam deserves the blame he gets!

The negative you got on this thread I guess are from Raven fans that did not watch the game. And yes Flacco was horrible.

This is what gets me Ricky running the ball well and they just stop giving him the ball. On short yardage you have to let ricky power that ball up the middle.
I agree. I love Rice but Ricky would have been a great choice against the Texans in the short yardage situations. He has a bit more power than Rice and probably could have pushed for those essential 3rd down conversions, or even the short TD run. We seem to have trouble adjusting and playing to our team's strengths and taking advantage of others' weaknesses. Still, I can't stop smiling about this win.

We can all smile and enjoy the win. All in all a win is a win. However next week will be different If the Defence plays like it did today and the Offence dosen't show up again then it will be a long day. But for today lets enjoy the win and know that we are playing in the AFC Champ Game. Well done Ravens

We won the game Bruh, you should be happy for your team to survive. Not "oh, but Cam you called this play on third down and we ALMOST loss cause of that."
.
I love for our fans to evaluate the teams overall performance, but whining and complaining, while we're winning is ridiculous, It's not hopeful or faithful; It's annoying and intolerable.
You're suppose to support your team, saying things like "I ain't feel like it was no win." isn't SUPPORTIVE, neither is the false critiquing some fans do
Hint: I said "negatively whine."
Simplistic comments are nothing but negativity. You have the "right" to do that, But simplistic, negative thinking made by fans question their support. Case Closed.

The game planning was horrible. Did you see how easily that slant in the 4th quarter worked? Why couldn't Cam call a few more of those. I'll admit the receivers dropping 5 balls didn't help, but come on. Everyone on CBS or Fox or whatever it was questioned the gameplanning, Jason LaCanfora shredded Cam for it, you have to admit it wasn't a great job. We got lucky Flacco connected on those passes early otherwise we'd have been in big trouble.

We got away with one. Cam has to call a better game plan next week, because the Patriots can score like mad. We need at least 25 points to even hang with them, IMO.

Yes, it wasn't good at all, But that game is over. They have to critique it and move on to next week. we can't stay in a game that has already past, we can only critique it and make the effective CHANGES and GAME-PLANNING, for the next game.
