Stay classy ravens fans..
Just because someone comes on our board and acts cocky doesn't mean we have to. Everyone knows this will be a dogfight.
Obviously I believe we are the better team also but I know that the texans are a good team and I'm not takin hem lightly and u shouldn't either

You are tough to go head-to-head with. But its nice to have a guy like you on our side. You're like the Leach to our board.

Pu..i have the utmost respect for everyone on our board. everyone! sure, we Ravens fans may scrap and verbally spar with one another a lil' bit here and there from time to time...BUT....that is among ourselves. we can't let or allow "outsiders" to come in here and blatanly disrespect our team, our players or our fans. that's like when you fight with your lil' brother..that is cool cause you are family. but, when someone else wants to jump on your lil' brother...now it's war! lol! and thanks for the Vonta comparison...he's a beast!

Yes, I am hoping the texans win, but it all depends on what happens.

For the Texans to win:
Texans Defense has to play like they did last week. Sacks, sacks and more sacks.
Texans Defense HAS to STOP Rice.
Texans Offense has to streach out the field with Johnson and that will open up the running game. One cornerback on Johnson will not surfice. Have two people covering Johnson, it will open up the running game, Try to stop the run with loading up the box and Johnson will burn them.
Texans QB Yates has to play like he did last week.

For the Ravens to win: (I don't know a lot about the Raven's, but this is what I see)
Rice HAS to have a good day.
Once Rice is running hard, then that will open up the passing.
Defense has to play like the Raven's defense plays.

Main difference between this game and the last? Andre Johnson.

Cool thing about this game is there are going to be 4 athelets from my Highschool (North Shore High School) playing on the field all at once.

Ravens #93 - Corey Redding
Ravens #65 - Andre Gurode
Ravens #23 - Chykie Brown
Texans #92 - Earl Mitchel

I don't know. Ben Grubbs is the cataylst for our O-lIne. In no way am I saying him over Andre Johnson. But without Grubbs we had games like Tennessee, Jacksonville and Arizona. With him this line has played at a high level. So the part where you say sacks, sacks, sacks. Could be limited.

You can keep hanging your hat on AJ. But if the Ravens pass rush can get pressure, AJ running deep routes isn't going to have as much an affect. At home we destroyed a good 49ers O-line and changed the aspect of their passing game.

HA! I can take anyone lightly that I want. 'Cuz I am listed as out for this game. I have been diagnosed with being Vertically and Gender Challenged. I think it may be career ending :(

Oh well. Bring on the pretzels and ...um..oh yeah...cockiness! lol

There are many more differences between this game's scenario and week 6's. Funny how the only one any Texan fan mentions is the only one in their favor.

I never really predict blowouts, but I'm going 28-10 Ravens. TJ Yates has never seen anything like a Baltimore playoff defense, nor has he tried to play against our 12th man.

Welcome to the boards! Looks to me like you should be a Ravens fan! Good team your Texans, and a fair assessment of how to
win this game. I think Houston will move the ball with AJ and Foster...don't think every possession will result in a TD though; Ray and crew get awfully stingy inside the 20. AJ is a singular talent...everyone knows that, especially our DC Chuck Pagano. Don't expect the rookie QB to be given all day to "find" Johnson. My crystal ball says....Ravens 24 Texans 13.

We are undefeated at home this season and we have never been beaten by the Houston Texans ever in the history of the Texans franchise. There is a first time for everything but I believe with the hype of Ravens fans at M&T Bank, I think the Ravens will crush the Texans.

I advise people to read my posts again and again. They're priceless! ..Or is it "worthless"?
I tried to word Houston fans' arguments in a way that they could understand how foolish they sound. So yeah, it was tongue-in-cheek all the way. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of Houston fans reading didn't get it either. I also wanted there to be at least one post on this thread that had the Texans in front.

Texans 32
Ravens 13

Compare to week 6: Dre is back, that's about a 30 point swing in the Texans' favor. Yates = Schaub, plus the Texans' D is the only unit in football that's gotten better since week 6 (aside from their offense). Flacco will crumble under pressure this time because he's due after consistently winning at home, against playoff teams, against the Texans, and never crumbling under pressure. Foster will have a much better game this time because the last time he faced the Ravens, he called it his worst game ever. Meanwhile, the Texans will once again lead the turnover battle 2-0 (or better) because that happened in week 6, meaning it wasn't a fluke. Fluke-o, as he's been called, isn't good because you can spell his name differently like Flaco or Flake-o.
Really? lol wow. Ravens with Harbaugh after a bye 4-0. Ravens at home 8-0. Ravens vs playoff teams 6-0. Also no Grubbs when we first faced them which is arguably our best offensive lineman. Were also #2 against the run which seems to be the thing the Texans will have to do well to win this one. So I'm gonna go with the rested better team at home over the third string rookie qb on the road vs the # 3 total defense that includes Ray lewis,Ed Reed,Suggs,Ngata,Webb...I mean cmon man that better of been a joke lol

Edit: Nevermind I kept reading ha

To the great joy and pleasure of all Baltimorians (notice I didn't say Baltimorons) watching the NFL for at least the next two weeks will be like sticking needles in my eyes.
Sure, I hope Houston wins, but I also hope it's 85 degrees and sunny tomorrow. Regarding Denver and New England, there is no way under any circumstances I can root for the Patriots. But rooting for Tim Tebow will be like rooting for stomach flu. Besides, the only reason Tebow was great last week was because the Steelers pass rush (which was non existant) and their secondary was equally as bad. Tebow is a total fluke and will be nothing more than a foggy memory this time next year.
So that leaves me with Ravens vs. Patriots next week. It might as well be Osama Binladen vs. Satan.
In the NFC, I hate Tom Coughlin, I hate Eli Manning.
I'd be ok with San Francisco except for the fact that a Harbaugh is there too.
I don't really want to see the Packers repeat
So......GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey this all may work out in the end
