Good Place For The Family To Go To Celebrate Purple Friday?

12 posts in this topic

Since we aren't taking our son and daughter to the playoff game Sunday we would like to take them someplace fun to celebrate Purple Friday.
I called the Greene Turtle in Westminster and they said they aren't doing anything special.

But I also saw something about a party at the Avenue in White Marsh. I'm not sure where or what this is about.

But any ideas on where one could take the kids for a fun dinner?

Batemans does a Purple Friday deal, pretty cool. The Crab Pretzel is pretty good too.

Yes, it is! I'll check into Bateman's.
We have one in Hanover, too.

I must say I am pretty shocked the Greene Turtle is not doing anything special on the Purple Friday before the playoffs. They act as if they are a huge part of the Ravens fan base yet nada. :(

Yea, I'm surprised local businesses aren't getting more involved.

I'm just a bit disappointed the area restaurants are not doing more.
Up here in PA to celebrate Harley Davidson's anniversary, bars and restaurants are slamming with events.

Wow, even sleep number beds has more views than Purple Fridays.
So, I guess that explains the demographic in here. Guys watching professional wrestling in bed on a Friday night.

Seriously, if I could take a Friday off from work, I would be following the Purple Friday caravan all day long. I've managed to hit them up at night a few times, but the last one soured me a bit when a couple of drunken idiots started a fight in the middle of one of the locations and it sent the cheerleaders and other staff packing very early.
