he's going to be out for at least a month, the dude just had neck surgery.by the time he gets back on the field to prove he can still ball, the trade deadline will pass so it doesn't matter anyways :)

Good deal thanx.. & by the way.. HOPEFULLY he's only expected to be out for a month.. Kelly Gregg was only expected to be out a MAX of 6 weeks.. Idk if I really trust what these people are telling us.

I think Samari has played really well the last two years when healthy. The Patriots game showed how good this defense is when C-Mac and Samari are in there.

He's been really brave fighting through that epilepsy. I think he's been playing much more aggressively the last two years, tackling harder to maybe disprove rumors of being soft. Steve Smith destroyed him and Ed Reed in that game a few years ago but he's stepped it up since then when he's been healthy. Unfortunately, his frame is good for silky smooth coverage, but not good for mixing it up in run support, even if his attitude is right. Gettin' old sucks.

Amen brother it does not seem that many people realize that Samari is both getting a little older and is not a very large man either, I think he reported to the ravens at around 170!! He was one of the leagues better corners for many years and even as he ages shows that he has the skills.

good point ravens girl... it really doesnt matter how good someone is, if they are not on the field it really doenst metter how "good" they are. I do have to agree though, it does seems like he has been playing more aggressive.

Go Ravens

Is that anything like being hit by Ray at full speed?

lol dayum, thats a bit harsh, eh?

Well anyways if Fabian Washington can heal from his injury then we wont have to worry as much about our CB's.

I think he's great.
We should keep him until he retires. He is too old (33) to get something special in a trade.
He is still fast and explosive, has great awareness and knowledge.... when healthy!!
I am pretty sure the ravens will keep him. He can be a great mentor for the younger players like Washington.

Besides that he has gone (and still is) through some bad time.. we all should support him.

Man. Your so quick to forget what hes done for our team... How about that time he came back and played against the Patriots. Didnt he have his man on lockdown for most of the game? How about the hit he laid on Randy Moss for it to be an incomplete pass? Dont post stuff like that if you just plan on blasting the teams players.

I've just never seen Rolle do anything special.

The only thing I've seen him, or CMac for that matter, do the last few years is get burned a lot.

And thats when hes actually played...

I remember him being talented over in Tennesee, just not so much since he's been here.

He has been around a long time and with Illness and injury the past few years you have to wander how much he has in the tank.

He's not playing now because he is hurt again but it is hard to find depth at cornerback. We traded for Washington and he got hurt. Maybe if we can alternate these 2 guys when they are healthy we can make one good corner. LOL

We have no chance of trading an expensive, oft-injured, OLD, undersized cornerback no matter how good he's played when healthy. But there is also no way he should be on this team next year, I'm sorry. Here's hoping Coach Harbs and company blow this thing up and go with a youth movement.

with that kinda attitude we might as well cut Ray Lewis, Chris McAllister, Kelly Gregg, Lorenzo Neal, Derrick Mason, Trevor Pryce, & Matt Stover next year.

This team needs to start getting younger. Rolle needs to go. If Stover continues to struggle he needs to go to and Pryce gets hurt again so does he. They are vets that are on the decline and taking up lost of valuable cap space.
