Correction.

ALL players must step up.
Well said, its a team game, and if everyone is not on their game, don't expect a Super Bowl, but the Ravens have maybe the best Chemistry of any organisation and I say they go all the way

The post season is where heroes and legends are made. The place where you build your legacy. Which players do you think have to step up to make sure the Ravens acheive their goals? Mine:

Lee Evans: No question he has been a dissapointment this year but this guy is still a proven veteran WR. He's never been here before and he's going to want to contribute so he has to bring his A game and make opponents respect the pass game.

Haloti Ngata: The Big man is doing his job in the trenches but I'm waiting for a BIG impact play that he was causing before his injury. Hopefully the week off gives him a chance to recover.

Anquan Boldin: This guy has been to a SB so he knows what it takes to get there. He has to be a leader and take charge and be the #1 WR who dominates. Now that his knee is healed I hope he brings that explosivness and gets us on the run.

Ray Lewis/Ed Reed: With all this recent criticism of there play, I expect these guys to go all out. We are about to go up against some of the best QBs in the game and you need these two HOFers for their instincts and play making ability. Defense wins championships and having two of the best ever at their position even at their age is excellent to have.

Joe Flacco: For all the accolades and records Joe has racked up in his early carreer it just isn't enough to silence critics until he wins a SB already. Is it fair? No, but Joe understands that and he's been here 3 years in a row. He's battle tested and has tons of experience and now can prove he is the QB that can become a champion. (Plus with a new contract coming up he's going to want to play lights out so he can make a ton of money!)

Who do you believe must have a big impact in the post season and step up their game?
Webby.. He's gonna have a long day against Andre Johnson if he doesn't set the tone early on. Also, generally our D-line is gonna have a HUGE day against Arian Foster

I hope Ray has a throw back 3 games for us. Just talking all kinds of crap, fist pumping, laying out HBs in the backfield or at the LOS, blitzing like a maniac, getting everyone's intensity level raised for real, and talking all kinds of crap. Say what you will, but Ray is at his best when he's seething mad and letting everyone know he is.
This gave me goosebumps. I like this. I hope we see this. I want to say one more huge big hit from that man. I want him to absolutely dominate.

The Ravens top 4 corners are: Webb, Williams, Smith, and Carr.
Thats what we are doing but i said it SHOULD be Danny instead of the liability that is Chris Carr

With the zone blocking scheme... JJ is going to be vital to our success in setting that edge!
Hope Redding and Suggs will be in full on beast mode too!

Go Ravens!!!

Cam Cameron. We need to score on every drive. Not kill time.

co-sign we need to score on drives not 3 points, but in the end zone!

Most likely to step it up: Ed Reed. Been too quiet this year, young QB, home game.

I'd most like to see step it up: Lee Evans. I get that it takes time for a QB and a wideout to get in sync. They have just missed on a couple of big plays. With Flacco's arm, Evans and Torrey together could be just unstoppable but the real benefits come once Evans actually does something and teams have to start accounting for him. That has not happened to date, although with two weeks off and Evans having been healthy for a while I am cautiously optimistic.

I still dont see how eds been quiet? Like I said in another post besides the 3 picks he already has theres been one called back for a very questionable pi...he dropped one in the first game vs pitt he dropped one vs san fran he dropped another vs cincy round 1 and the ball wizzed right by his face in round 2 vs cincy and there is another he got his hands on but I cant remember but positive he did....so if caught he would of had ... Oh look at that about 8 or 9 picks :) ... Dont believe me just go watch the games again...but I agree hes been quiet with catching this year

The Texans don't play much zone defense.

Evans - I swear, Lee needs to prove his worth and show us that all of the time and $ we have invested were not wasted.

Haloti - He'll be there with bells on!

Q - Surgery may have been a blessing in disguise. Not just a chance to get physically healthy, but a chance to stand back and fully appreciate the upcoming opportunities.

Ray and Ed - No worrying about Ray. The King of Intensity will prove invaluable even if he does not make a play. He could motivate anyone! I think Ed is the biggest concern. The way he has been arm tackling, avoiding contact and rolling around in pain has been hard to watch. I think he has been saving his efforts for Festivus and beyond. I hope..............

Flacco - No worries here. He's been here the 3 previous years and will be un phased by the hype. His level of performance will be dependent upon the O line and receivers.

No letdowns now. It will take a mighty effort from any team to beat us!

Anquan Boldin is going to have a huge day. He is back and ready to carry this offense. You could tell by his anxiousness to try and come back for the Bengals game one week after surgery. He's the clear leader of our receivers and will take it upon himself to be the go-to guy. Also, according to football outsiders, the Texans are one of the worst at covering #1 WRs.

For me the player that MUST step up is simply Joe Flacco.

The guy has a chance to really make a name for himself. His playoff performances are spotty at best (he has had some factors working against him as well). In a game which has two teams evenly matched in defense and running game. Joe MUST be the difference. His time to shine.

That's it right there. Its all (not literally, but darn close) on Flacco! Prove the naysayers wrong and go get it, Joe!!

Cundiff needs to regain his old form. He can hit the 40+ yard FGs. Rice is the key player. We seem to win when he rushes for 2 TDs. I like to see him catch a few balls too. Flacco must be wise in his throws. He can hit the open receiver as well as anyone, but when he's hurried his accuracy suffers. Smith needs to get separation to create big play yardage without dropping the ball. Q needs to get a few early balls to help him get over the injury. Pitta needs to have sure hands. Dickson needs to get involved too. Evans needs to catch something for any yardage!!!! I can't really agree that the players need to step up, rather just they all need to have a great game. Football is a team sport. Individual effort is compounded by the greatness of the players around you. The defense needs to win the turnover battle.

I'm a big fan. Too bad Suggs revels on mocking the word of God on TV, worshipping himself and other influences. Go Ravens; trade Suggs.
