Wildcard round of playoffs are over and I know game hasn't started yet, but that isn't no reason to get an early discussion started.

Sure everyone will doubt Broncos and make them seem weak like they did last week, but maybe some people will take Bronco's serious now. Is anyone smelling a possible upset in New England. I dont know, yet it looks like This years playoffs Tim Tebow is by far better then the regular season Tim Tebow that we all have seen play, he just is different, Tebow is in playoff mode or something.

Tebow and Broncos overcame a lot of odds by beating hurt, but still somewhat of a elite threat Steelers team and the way Tebow passed and ran on a Steelers defense. escpecially a defense led by Dick LeBeau. Sure it was at home, but still to accomplish this was pretty impressive.

Can anyone imagine what a playoff mode Tebow can do to a Patriots weak defense?

Personally, I'm still getting over the freaky that Tebow passed for exactly 316 yds.

Yeah, 3:16...

*shudder*

Does anyone think that Josh McDaniels has any factor in this game? I personally don't think he will do anything.

I don't think he'll do anything worthy of note, but I think the OC becoming the head coach at Penn State is going to be a huge distraction. Maybe he doesn't put as much time into the gameplan this week because he's looking ahead, or one wrong play and people start accusing him of looking ahead.

Either way, I think the Patriots offense doesn't show up this week.

He already has played a factor in the game off the field. He was the one who drafted Tebow and Thomas and because of that the Broncos were able to win the AFC West and put Tebow in the game, again thanks to Josh McDaniels. It was McDaniels who a few picks earlier selected Thomas OVER Dez Bryant and yet the game winnning TD was Tebow to Thomas, something that couldn't have happened without McDaniels run in Denver.

So you guys think Denver will get revenge by beating the Patriots this time around? I'm not saying it's possible because I can't see Tebow matching Brady for every TD, but after they beat the Steelers right now anything is possible.

No...Denver played their Super Bowl yesterday and this time the game is in Foxboro so unless the Pats have a case of "bye week itis" i can see the score being in the neighborhood of 45-17.

Just don't think the Broncos can score at the rate that the Pats can. I just don't see Tebow replicating this week's performance on the road, in NE

Do what? Wow.

Anyway, Tom Brady has said that Josh McDaniels has "inside information" on The Broncos and the players. I really don't understand how McDaniels could have inside information if there is a entire brand new coaching staff and new playbook with John Fox in charge so I don't see how McDaniels can really have any inside information.

So instead of going for something easy like Optimus, they make up a crappy name like that?

I prefer Josh's elder brother Jack McDaniels. HEHEHE.

Like the Texans, the Broncos will be one and done after the smoke clears.

So you want to play the Patriots instead of the Broncos?

If Tebow Magic can last one more week so the Ravens can host the AFC Championship Game that would be wonderful.

The odds of this happening are along the order of 3720 to 1, but as much as I despise everything Tim Tebow is I would not be opposed to Denver knocking off New England. Denver is a heck of a lot easier to beat than New England, and is a much better match-up for the Ravens. Add in the home field advantage, and that's the best shot for this team to get to the Super Bowl.

Hey, stranger things have happened.

Brady does not usually fare well in the playoffs lately.

Brady does have trouble with real defenses.

Add in that NE has one of the worst defenses in the league.

Hey, it could happen.

Brady overcame a deficit to shred this supposedly good defense when they met during the regular season. Seriously, the only thing more overrated than Tebow is Denver's defense. They played a weak schedule and caught some lucky breaks to get where they are. Let's not act like they're in the same class of defense as the Ravens and, last Sunday excluded, the Steelers. They're not bad, but I certainly wouldn't classify them as a real defense.

It doesn't matter who we play. If we are on our game, then we can beat anyone-Packers, Saints, or 49ers. I don't worry about the Patriots, but of course we would rather be the ones to knock out the Broncos if it means that we make it to the Super Bowl.

We could have drafted Tebow but we wouldn't have our 2 TEs.
[/quote]

Actually, I think the more interesting hypothetical would be if the Cowboys hadn't traded up in front of the Ravens to take Dez Bryant. Then the Ravens pick Bryant, don't trade down, and don't draft Pitta and/or Dickson. Maybe Bryant works out his rookie season, so maybe the Ravens don't draft Torrey Smith this year.

A better choice may have been to keep number 25 and draft Gronkowski. Hindsight is always far more accurate than foresight.

lol. I read somewhere that he also threw for 31.6 yrds/completion and the ratings peaked at 31.6. Very odd.

True, Gronkowski would have been the better pick at that point, but we know that the Ravens would have drafted Bryant had he still been there at the pick, which is why the Cowboys traded in front of us. Ozzy actually called the Cowboys after that pick to let them know that he was going to take Bryant. (The Cowboys made that a point of pride that they made a good pick.)

I see this game being a repeat of the last time these two teams met....but I hope Tebow can prove me wrong like he did last game.

My feeling is that Brady will get hit a few times by the Broncos pass rush. Hopefully, he comes apart and throws a few interceptions, too. There is a slight chance that the Broncos will win if everything goes right for them again. They have a very good kicker who wasn't really a factor in the last game because they kept scoring TDs. We went into N.E. in the 2009 playoffs and tore them up. Hopefully, we get a home playoff game against the Broncos. Come what may, I expect us to fulfill Billick's prophecy of us making it to the SB.

Dez Bryant and Q and we would have beaten the Steelers last year in the playoffs.
